It definitely has a masculine/musky scent. That said, I am in love with it and have worn it almost constantly since receiving it in the post. It smells amazing on my skin and as posted before, I can't stop smelling myself. This is a warm, sexy scent...and I plan on buying a bigger vial for myself. I might make my husband wear it, as well...but I might just be selfish and keep it.

I love this scent! It smells so green when it comes out of the bottle..and it stays green all day long. My skin chemistry reacts poorly to some scents, but it loves Old Amsterdam. The smell of grass and tulips is wonderful...this is my new "first day of spring" scent.

Honestly, I bought this for the name. The Caterpillar is my favoritest Cure song and I will always have an affinity for anything with Caterpillar in the name. That said, this scent is really beautiful. It reminds me of an incense that I used to burn when I was in college...sweet, churchy and musty. It reminds me more of the Caterpillar's hookah than its dwelling place. I am a convert to BPAL now...thanks to this scent. I'm getting ready to place a second order.
