    Trick or Treat

In the bottle: butterscotchy with a teeny bit of corn. On skin: it became cinnamony with a wicked almost perfumey bite...the same fake-cinnamon/perfume scent you find on pinecones at craft stores around the holidays. Nauseating and headache-inducing. After a while: slightly plasticy but still that same fake cinnamon smell. I think this one has got to go...

    Numb

Numb is just strange! At first it smelled just like the powder scented aerosol deodorant my mother used to use, but half an hour or so later the powder toned down a lot and I could smell something sweet and almost caramel-y. I think I'm going to have to keep this one around for a while and give it another try when my sinuses aren't being all weird to see if I get the same weird sweetness out of it.

    Mi-Go Brain Canister

In the bottle: sickeningly sweet, like fermented fruit salad or wilted iris maybe On skin: it stayed weirdly sweet for a little while and then mellowed into a fruity floral. I wasn't too impressed with this in the bottle, but figured I'd try it out on my skin anyway. I tried it late in the evening, and it still wasn't my favorite scent, but I have to say that I slept better that night than I had all week. I'll have to give this one another try when my sinusus stop being all weird and see if it really does help me sleep better.

    Spooky

Spooky is love! I must find a bottle of this before I use up all of my imp! It's creamy minty-vanilla goodness with a touch of something else that I can't quite place. I have an old Avon lipgloss with almost the same scent but I can't remember what they called it (the label fell off long ago). The gloss is in a stack of 3 or so minty glosses...it's the white one. Spooky is a bit less vanilla-y but they are similar. I just wish I had known about BPAL when this was still available.

    Hellfire

This one smells interesting in the bottle, but I don't think it's for me. It smells a bit like smoky fabric softener on my skin It's kind of like putting on freshly washed clothes and then going out to play in a brush fire...and once in a while I get something that smells like musty old books. In the bottle this smells far less smoky to me, but I'm not really sure what the notes are. I don't really have much experience with separating the notes of perfumes...yet. There is a little bit of sweetness to it and it does smell kind of familiar, but I'm not sure why. It reminds me a little bit of my grandfather (tobacco?) and the tackroom of a barn (leather?). I like the scent in the bottle, though it does smell more masculine than something I'd usually wear...but that's ok since I don't like the scent on my skin anyway. Maybe I can use it to perfume something other than myself, or just sniff it in the bottle now and then. Many thanks to "defencmen" on ebay (not sure if he/she is a member here) for generously sending this along with my purchase
