    Voodoo

I am over the moon with this scent. If I could order a gallon of this stuff and bathe in it... In the imp: Cherry Coca-Cola. A bit surprising, but pleasantly nostalgic taking me back to summer days at the beach with a bottle of cherry coke and friends. Love the lime. Wet: Still cherry coke and lime but now the patchouli and myrrh come in to take center stage. Dry: The patchouli takes a backseat to the myrrh, god I love myrrh! Beautiful spice and incense, I love this! The staying power is amazing with plenty of throw (in a good wafting up to the nose sort of way, not the I-can-smell-you-reeking-a-block-away sort of way). After a few hours the vanilla amps up and comes into play with the myrrh perfectly. Final verdict: Definitely bottle worthy. A lovely scent with staying power, I put this on in the morning and I woke up the next day smelling a lovely vanilla leftover scent.

    The Dormouse

I love this scent! I ordered this to round out an order of imps and am very glad I chose this one. In the imp: A very lovely green scent with a deliciously sharp lemony note Wet: I adore tea scents and this is no different. I can pick out a nice green tea as well as a lovely earl grey-like scent. Then the peony comes out, working beautifully with the teas. I can't smell any of the herbs though. Lovely, absolutely lovely. Nice and light, very feminine. Perfect for warmer weather. Dry: Oh too bad, it fades so fast. I can smell a hint of the peony and green tea. Not a whole lot of throw either. To really smell it you need to have your nose pressed against the skin. And since my life does not entail a whole lot of people sniffing me, it really doesn't merit buying a whole bottle. However, while it lasts The Dormouse is a lovely scent that instantly brightens my mood. Final: I adore this scent but it just doesn't last long enough on my skin. I wonder if I could make this into a room scent, it might last longer...

In the imp: alcohol with some sweetness lurking below, not the most pleasant but there is potential Wet: Almond with a sharp alcohol scent, kind of like almond extract but more on the bitter side Dry: Finally the alcohol scent is fading into something sweeter and warmer. The almond comes out along with something sweeter (butter cream?)with spices taking on an incense-like smell (reminds me of the Wassail parties I went to growing up). Rather pleasant once things calm down. Final verdict: The bitterness and unpleasantness of this scent on my skin doesn't quite make the end result worth it as far as a bottle is concerned. However, I might hold on to this imp and see if it grows on me more. Oh well, I really wanted this to work on me...

    Bliss

Imp: Brownies and more chocolate, I hope this smells as good on me as in the imp Wet: Smells like I was mixing up brownie batter, this is love. Dry: Wonderful chocolaty goodness with a hint of caramel (?). It reminds me of the time I was working at Starbucks making an extra chocolate mocha and had filled the cup with the mocha sauce (there was a lot in it) I turned to place it on the counter to pour the espresso shots in but I missed the edge of the counter and the cup hit the floor, causing me to be covered (COVERED) in chocolate. The woman who I was making the drink for (the customer service desk clerk) looked at me and laughed saying I looked like Lucille Ball (I Love Lucy). Needless to say despite the fact that I attempted to wash the chocolate sauce off I smelled like mocha for two days. This scent reminds me of that. Final Verdict: A wonderful scent, however it does fade relatively fast compared to other scents. I might spring for a bottle next time, I can't help but sniff my wrists throughout the whole day.

    Mr. Ibis

Bottle: a non-foody vanilla scent with a whisper of musk and a shadow (get the pun? American Gods character...okay good, you got it. it was funny to me at least) of sandalwood. Wet: Musk takes a leading man role with aloe as leading lady and sandalwood as a supporting character. Vanilla makes a few entrances, but mostly stays in the background. Dry: Vanilla pokes its head in then ducks out while aloe and musk invite their buddies, papyrus and sandalwood over for fun and games. A very light and clean scent, like the smell of my room after spring cleaning and the windows have been opened to let in a nice cool refreshing breeze. Final thoughts: I really love this scent. I wish the vanilla could stick around to play a bigger role however the overall scent is absolutely beautiful, comforting, and clean. A very light smell, I wish it could have a little more throw but I am in love with this scent 100%. Edit: After about 30 min-1 hr the vanilla came back and sat in the corner while the aloe/aquatic notes stayed as the main attraction

In the imp: sweet Bailey's Irish cream, LOVE! Wet: Still all Irish cream, a hint of old books-the kind you find in your neighborhood used bookstore while you wander through it with a nice cup of coffee that is perfectly brewed. Dry: Hints of the Irish cream, the book smell creeps out from the soft oak scent like a book being removed from the bookshelves of an old library Final verdict: absolutely, positively in love with this scent. I wish I had just trusted my gut feeling and sprung for a bottle, but there is always next time. Will defiantly buy a bottle next order. Geek moment: I was wearing this and my history professor asked me what I wearing and when I revealed the name he laughed and reached into his briefcase, pulling out an anthology of Lovecraft's works. Needless to say we had a total geek out moment.
