    Sugar Plum Fairy

Oh man watermelon jolly ranchers... I haven't had one of those for years and suddenly I've got a crazy craving for them. Overall this is a very light, bright, and sugary scent without being too in your face. It wears very close to the skin which I kind of regret... Very low throw. I bought this decant as a bit of a filler in a small order and oddly enough it turned out to be the best from the set. You can definitely pick out a sour tone of the plum, but it's not a bad sour, kind of like warheads candy sour smell. Wonderful *A* Not something that I'll spring for a bottle of, but the imp'll last enough for some fun days!

    Hellcat

I saw the description and ran to the sales area because I needed to try it asap. It looked like a combination of Gluttony and Eden which are my two favorite scents... But maybe they're best left separate. In the vial I get my beloved sweet almonds but also a cloying sweet cherry that's way too reminiscent of Jailbait. It's really REALLY boozy which may be where the cherry comes from. Wet: Uhgh. This smells like... Almond extract on the spot. It has the wonderful almond... spiked with sweet alcohol. It's like an almond bubble tea spiked with sweet liquor. Curses. Dry down: The alcohol backs off somewhat and it gets a little spicier, but I'm not getting any of the hazelnut or buttercream. It's like a very toned down Gluttony on my skin... It actually smells like the dried greenery you can get around Christmas at craft stores... Like what you'd make a wreath out of.

    Phoenix Steamworks

In the vial: sage and sharp... something? I can definitely see metallic. Wet: Oh lovely... I smell as if I've just handled a fist full of pennies. Very coppery and I can't say it's a good thing. Very novel though. Dry-down: a little more cologne-ish, but still very metallic. If I make any male friends in the steampunk dressing hobby, this is going straight to him. It's as if you were wearing a light cologne and went down into the shop for some welding. Very lightly citrus-y.

    Eden

Eden is, hands down, my favorite BPAL scent. I nabbed an imp ages ago because the honeyed almond milk had me curious and oh. My. Goodness. This is Eden. On my skin the almond milk is sweet without being overpowering and the honey is surprisingly soft on my skin. I don't get so much coconut which is fine by me but the fig balances out with the almond to give it a deeper tone. It's hard to describe, but it's like there's a light sweet overtone on top of a dark sweet figgy base. I'd on the foody side, but not some much as, say, gluttony. I put this on eeeeverything. When I'm in an iffy mood I dab a little on the top corner of my pillowcase before bed I really do need to get around to a bottle...

    Gluttony

Gluttony was my first BPAL a couple years back and still a favorite. I'm so glad I got a bottle when I did @___@ Please keep in mind that my bottle is at least 3 years old, possibly around 4 or 5? In the bottle: May I drink this please? PLEASE? Caramel, chocolate, a little warm bourbon-y vanilla all mixed wonderfully. Wet: Exactly like it does in the bottle except for a tiny bit spicier. Almost a little like cinnamon or nutmeg... Deliiiicious. My brother once made the comment that I smelled like Cinnamon french toast smothered in sugar. ...That's probably pretty accurate. I could mention that the throw is insane (which may be problematic for those with a sensitive nose) Drydown: a little spicer and very well blended- it's hard to pick out individual notes at this point. But seriously, it smells like I went on a major sweets run at a bakery. Love love love!

    Jailbait

In the bottle this is pretty much melted bubble gum on a hot day intertwined with cherry cough syrup. That was a bit of an off-put but I tried it on anyway... On my skin it turns into thick, gooey, over-sugared cherry cough syrup. It's so strong I can feel it in my throat and I can't say it's a nice feeling. It has a pretty strong throw which is a doubly bad thing (my roommate agreed with that one) in this case. After an hour or two it was a lighter cherry and the bubblegum came back, but it's still not something I'd wear. Though to be frank, I think the description hits it on the head, I'm not sure what I was expecting.
