I was so excited seeing that the last unicorn is a bpal scent and i wanted to order right away but I patiently waited for lady amalthea to come out to order some more bottles since i life in japan and i didnt only wanted to order some imps and 1 bottle because shipping is expensiv. In the bottle: Coconut hits me right away. A good coconut not the stupid artificial coconut scent i hate so much. More like fresh coconut pulp. There is something grassy in the background. Lettuce? Oakmoss. It smeels old (a good old like an antique store old) but sweet. On the skin wet: coconut and vanilla. But i smell the grassy flavor still but even more in the background. Only wispering to me. On the skin dry: NNNNNNOOOO my skin eats it. It seems to be tasty. I putted some more on but the dry down nearly has no throw It is very soft green coconut with a grass flavor in the background. Such a pretty scent if my skin would be hungry for it I tried to put on twice as much as i normally would but within 5 min it got eaten by my skin. I hope it will come up again after some minutes. To say it with king haggard : I can wait. The end will be the same...I can wait.... After half an hour to 1 hour: The scent came back with a strong throw. Unfortunately my skin chemistry makes it all coconut and vanilla. I hoped the grassy scent would stay but its all gone now After 3-4 hours: It is nearly gone and faded to a quite soapy scent. Nice expensiv soap but soapy nevertheless. Verdict: Its really lovely and in the bottle it smells dead on like i would imagine the unicorn to smell like. Ufortunately my skin makes it all sweet vanilla coconut and coconut is not my favorite scent at all.I am also a bit dissapointed with how fast it fades on my skin. after 4-5 hours it was completely gone It is not the "woah i need 10 bottles of this scent" i hoped for.I will keep and cherish my bottle but i wont buy a backup. Although i decided to give the complete last unicorn imp pack number I a go because in the review even mommy fortuna and the harpy sound good and i really want to try the lilac wood without buying a whole bottle. So i will have 1 more imp of that one as well which makes me happy never the less For me this scent is nice and calming but not as grassy/woodsy as i hoped when i sniffed it in the bottle. I really have high hopes for the lilac wood now after this.

I wanted this one to work.I wanted it so much to work it is not even funny but no way I heard something of sweet cherry and almonds and tart. well mine smells almonds all right. burned almonds with a sticky caramel crust. sickenly sweet to me. I was brave and putted it on never the less....yep stays the same on my skin and morphes into a fat headache for me. tried to wash it off but i could stell smell it afterwards. even tried it 2 times. same again Really not for me. i am scared of this perfume oil since it gives me piercing headaches

I waited FOREVER for this scent to come out to finally place my first bpal order. I life in japan so i need to collect stuff to make the shipping worth. Lady amalathea is the ideal woman for me since my childhood. I always wanted to look like her. Even dyed my hair white for quite some years. She is elegant, wise, beautyful and mystical. When i was first sniffing it in the bottle i was a bit dissapointed to be honest because it was not the way i thought lady amalthea would smell. I thought somewhat sweeter maybe. But its like reading a book and seeing the movie after it. It can be like you where imagine it or totally oposite. But then again it was after a long day of kittchen work where i smelled a lot of different stuff so i let it sit for some days to finally try it out. In the bottle: I mainly catch sweet vanillary flowes and mint. That scares me a bit since bpal flowers tend to go all grandmum on me On my skin wet: HHHEELLLOOO MINT! The mint overpowers everything. The flowers stepped in the background On my skin dry: Sweet flowers playing with mint. And there is something forresty smelling in the background. Like grass but more like grass in a forrest if this makes any sense. The mint burns slightly on my skin. After 10 min: Thats the fastest morphing scent i ever had from bpal until now. Now its all woodsy grass and mint. After couple of hours: it became beautiful sweet but fresh minty flowers. Still something grassy in the background but i love the grassy notes because it stops the florals from becomming to grandmum and flowery on me. Verdict: All my dissapointment from the first sniff is gone. This is exactly how i imagine my beloved, perfect lady amalthea to smell like. Woodsy, innocently sweet and fresh like mint The fast morphing scent is for me like seeing her changing from a strong unicorn into the breakable human lady amalthea. It starts out strong and sweet like a unicorn and morphes into a breakable, soft and fresh scent. Breakable as the unicorn in its human body. This scents makes me sad somehow but i love it at the same time. What impresses me is that the scent is holding up pretty well even it is so soft and breakable. I was washing my cats 3 hours after putting this on (2 of my 3 cats have a skin condition so the doctor reccomended me to wash them every 2 to 3 month) and i got wet and sweaty doing this the scent was as strong as before on my skin when i sniffed it later on. The throw is not very strong. if someone is sitting next to you or hugs you he or she will smell it but its not like aged snake oil where people can smell you from the other side of the street (i love aged snake oil it just has the stronges throw ever!) Not sure if i will have a second bottle comming my way or just cherishing this one since i am not sure how this one would turn when its aged. But i love it and it will be my summer and spring go to. All in all a beautiful beautiful blend with a beautyful artwork. My favorite flowery blend so far. I even love it more than voyeurs among the cherry blossom which was my favorite up to now

I have to admit i heard the name and that is smells like gingerbread cookie and i had to have it....but i think i had bought it alone for the name Wet in the bottle: I took one sniff and also its march now i felt imidiately christmassy Its not only rum and gingerbread. its like bottled christmas. Spicey bakery and yummy hot alcoholic beverages which are extra sweet because thats just the way christmas has to be. Wet one my skin: Pretty much the same Drydown: EY the Reindeer is biting me The cinnamon burns my skin quite a bit but what else to expect from a flesheating reindeer?! Dry on my skin: the fruitiness now plays in. its a bit as if grandma now had served the fruitpunch with a big shot of rum to go with all the christmas sweets Lasting Time: My skin seems a bit special. everything lasts very long on me. a normal perfume lasts a whole day scentwise.sometimes even over night until the next shower. a cream too. and a shower gel or soap from lush lasts some hours on me. This one lasted probably a good 12 hours on me before i only got the scent when i pressed the nose close to my skin. its a nice lastingtime but nothing compared to voyers amongs the cherry blossom which i still could smell from a distance after 30!! hours Final thoughts: I am totally smitten! after the firt try i imidiately searched for a backup bottle so i dont run out for a long time. i will probably wear a complete bottle empty around next christmas I was searching everywhere for a perfume that goes with my favorite christmas lush things (BOB soap, Gloegg, Hot toddy, Christmas Kisses and gingerbread house). i have now found it and this years christmas can come

This was my second bpal i ever got. i got a bottle with only 25% left and thought thats enough. how wrong i was ;.; In the bottle: Sweet Cherry blossom Wet on the skin: Still the same sweet cherry blossom scent but with a bit of sexyness to it dry on the skin: I is masculine but unbelivable sexy.I life in japan and i know what cherry blossom smells like. this exactly smells like a couple getting busy on hanami(cherry blossom party)with all their friends around them. I never did this but this scent makes me think about trying it out I am totally in dirty cherry blossom love with this scent I would wear it every day if i wouldnt be that much afraid to run out. I need to hunt down a full bottle! Or 2

I really wanted to love this one! I really did. It was my first bpal, it was a lunacy (which i adore alone for the name) and it was an april lunacy (april is my birthday month). I was excited like i child when i got this one. In the bottle:it smelled like sweet honey with flowers and loved it. On my skin wet: It is changing....BAM! it turned imideately into an old lady flower perfume. I thought i would wait a while for it to calm down. On the skin dry: It says all grandmum perfume (not mine though she hates flower perfumes ;p).Even stronger now.It got really overpowering and gave me a headache I tried it a second time but it was excatly the same. seems not for me... It was not the best experience for a first bpal perfume Well luckily i got Voyers among the cherry blossom just 2 days later and fell in love with this one which made me not giving up on bpal Update September 2011: I wanted to sell or swap it and so i was letting it sit in my bpal box over the summer and since i just reached for voyeurs among the cherry blossom during summer and my little imp box in my box and ignored my other bottles since my other bottles until this week where just flower moon and and my dear love flesh eating reindeer which is really not for summer, i totally forgot about it. i just made my first bpal order and remembered it and i took it out for selling it and when i sniffed it again to make sure that i really cant make it work i got a little suprise Within the half year i have this one it morphed into a sweet honeyed flower scent. I tried it on an it quite works now I am still not sure about this one since i learned i need flowers with a grassy note because my chemistry tends to push out the flowers like crazy so they overpower everything else. but its quite sweet and nice now and i will wait some more month and give it a try again and make a final decission.
