moon rose is exactly as described. it is quite lovely translucent rose with some dewiness... possibly a tiny touch of musk in there. very nice.

on me Tintagel smells mainly like Kool-Aid. Probably the mulled wine is just playing strangely with my chemistry. oh well.

Mystery is an imp I have that somehow I hadn't previously tried. It is very astringent. It smells like something from the 70s, but I can't figure out what. Mystery is definitely not a pleasant smell on me.

for me Jolly Roger is at first very much like a solid air freshener from the 70s. But it becomes more like sweet sea air as it dries. It's pretty nice, but not quite the sea scent I'm looking for.

Not very citrussy to me either. Light and herbal. nice, but fades quickly.

It's hard to believe that I haven't reviewed Water of Notre Dame yet, I've used up almost a whole bottle. WoND really helps me when I know that I'm going to be doing something that makes me anxious. It helps me feel calm. The scent is clean and rosy and I quite like it.

Dana O'shee is creamy almond vanilla. It's really comforting.

Phantasm is a lovely lemony tea fragrance. The jasmine and neroli are not coming out to kill me. Very very pretty.

Depraved is lovely. I've found that I love the combination of patchouli and fruit. Imp was my favorite, and now Depraved is a close second.

French Love is definitely warm, sweet and comforting. I'm not sure about the temptation and carnal sin effects, but wearing this today I got an unexpected 50 cent raise, as well as $200 in gift certificates to be used at any store in town, and many many compliments on how I look. Weird!

sweet, spicy, ambery goodness!

for me Port Royal is at first very melony, maybe a honeydew or a canteloupe. strange. then it becomes more spicey and a little aquatic. quite nice, but not really to my taste.

WOW!!
At first sniff on my wrist, the Dodo is all Cassia... and I'm a bit wary. But within a few minutes it turns into something warm and rich. This is the most expensive-smelling divine aroma I have tried in quite some time. I really wasn't expecting it to be this good. WOW!!

light and pleasant, but disappears quickly on me.

AT first I thought this was going to be light and airy. But the patchouli and musk, though subtle really add depth. And the musk stuck around on me for hours and hours.

Poisoned Apple is all apple at first, but the subtle poisons come through as it warms. This is really a wonderful scent. I'm going to use up this imp and decide if this is THE apple scent of which I need a bottle. On first try, I think it may just be.

this didn't smell like the description at all to me! weird. It started out like nag champa and dried to a musky rose. must be my skin doing something funky. very nice though.
-
wet i get mainly the treacle, then the cider. like a mix of sugarskull and samhain. it dries and becomes a soft, warm scent. nice.
** about a year later, I'm wearing this again. now it is mainly carnation. but with some extra warm sweetness... still quite like it*

spicy sweet and warm. comforting and fun. Pink Moon is going to be my main scent this spring!

At first wet on my skin, this is very strong eucalyptus/medicine scented. That quickly calms down and becomes a lovely woody blend. Very nice

black rose really doesn't work on me. metallic, soapy, babypowder is not good.
French Creole

Oh. I'm so happy to have the TAL French Creole. I was a big fan of the Voodoo one, and my bottle was just about gone when I ordered it. The scent is about the same to me. One strange thing I noticed is that TAL French Creole is a little bit gritty. But that's fine by me. And I totally love the scent. I know things are going to be ok when I wear it. I got a chance to use French Creole last week, and it did exactly what it needed to do. French Creole is the most effective oil that I have ever tried.
