  1. I usually love leather, wood, and boozy scents, but something about this is bitter and unappealing to me. I tried two different imps of different ages, and the (I think) newer one was somewhat better (heavy on the wood), I still think they will both go to swaps.

  2. This is like orange hard candy with a hint of mint. Maybe like orange cough drops? That sounds unappealing but I actually really like it. Great fun summer scent. Unfortunately my decant leaked and so I have only a tiny amount of this. :(

  3. Amber doesn't always agree with me, but this is all warm spicy woodiness while wet. Definitely smells like an exotic desert.

Unfortunately an hour later it's turned all sharp and sour on me. :/ I wish the wet stage just lasted because I loved that!

  4. Swiss miss! In the packet, before it's even mixed with milk. Tasty enough, but not my favorite of the (many) chocolate scents I've tried as it's definitely a lighter, powdery, more artificial type of scent.

  5. I get barely any coffee from this, unfortunately... just the tiniest bit of ground coffee beans in the background. The dominant scent is a kind of nutty herbaceousness, almost slightly methol-y, that must be the ambrette seed.

I've been searching for another great coffee scent for when my beloved bottle of The Worst Pillow runs out. Unfortunately this isn't it, as it really doesn't smell anything like coffee on me! It's more like... foresty sawdust? I do like it, but it's not at all what I expected from this one.

  6. This smells like a candle. It's the coconut husk I guess, which is more subtle than most coconut scents, and I actually don't get much sandalwood (which is a shame as I love woody scents). This is a very mellow skin scent, and I really like it.

  7. It's hard to pick any particular notes out of this, but it doesn't really do anything for me anyway. Normally I'd save it for re-testing down the line, but I'm trying to cull the stash, so off to swaps it goes!

  8. This smells very menthol-y to me, though that's not one of the listed notes. Like straight-up mentos. I guess I can get some pepper in there too, though.

Trying to decide if I like this one... it may need a full day's wearing to be sure.

  9. Mostly cassia in the wet stage, but it's pretty mellow and not too spicy. Doesn't seem to give me a skin reaction, which is great! Unfortunately it becomes mostly just a woody scent after the drydown but it's still pleasant enough. I can see myself wearing this from time to time.

  10. I don't really believe in men's/women's scents but I don't think this one works for me, though judging by other reviews here I might try giving it to my boyfriend to see if he likes it. It's just a bit too aftershave-y/air freshener-like on me.
