    Qandisa

I bought it for all the wonderful black musk promised but when I apply I get drowned out by all the intruding saffron, and then said saffron ages into play-doh... :( I'm gonna have to remember that saffron is not my friend no matter how expensive the spice is...

    The Little Wooden Doll

Jungian psychologist Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes in her book "Women Who Run With The Wolves" devotes an entire section to "Vasilissa The Wise" and in it her little doll symbolizes women's intuition. Inherited from the mother, it is a secret way of knowing that protects her from all the evil and harm Baba Yaga can devise and ultimately leads her to victory, and it is this interpretation I envision most clearly now. Grab yourself a bottle of this lovely scent, settle in with Dr. Este's book and don't forget to pay attention to your hunches and your instincts, it could very well save your life.

    Alice

Bright, sweet, almost candied in character. It's bubbly and uplifting, floral and fresh, it has nearly the same breezy quality to it that The White Rabbit posses. On others it may easily become cloying due to all the sweetness but it hasn't done that to me. Yet. It has the most lovely rose, like a late spring, spicy, candied rose that I just adore. More testing needed, but it is very beautiful, all said.

    Dragon's Heart

Warm and spicy, which is nice for cold winter nights. The fruit present here makes this more varied than Dragon's Musk, but I still can't decide which is my favorite. More experimentation needed...

    Dragon's Musk

Sweet but strong, warm and fierce, it's very fortifying and comforting. Like having a permanent devoted bodyguard protecting you, it feels safe. And smoky. I love it! It does wonders for self confidence and personal strength, highly recommended!

    The Sea Foams Blood

I love this! Definitely the best aquatic/green/blood note I've ever tried! I think the greeness comes from Irish Moss, given that's just my guess but it's an apt estimate. The ocean blue note is stronger, classier and different from Dragon's Tears and the DB is nice, toothy and sleek. I'm marking this for a bottle purchase sometime in the future for sure.

    Ladon

Sweet appley flowers, dragon's blood floating around behind it. Pleasant, but when I first received it it smelled exactly like caramel apples right down to the peanuts embedded in the caramel. Still smells like that sometimes, the whiffs of the snack haven't left it totally. Nice for those who love fall, or traditional fall snacks.

    The Lion

Amber, musk and...MINT!! Strong, dark, murky and far far too masculine for my tastes. In the aged imp I can sense the cinnamon better than when it was fresh, but it still strikes me as more for a guy than a gal. The aging makes it quite more muted and softer too, but not by much.

    Black Phoenix

Black Phoenix is overwhelming cherry lacquer, seriously the heady burgundy varnish you'd use to lacquer one of those little wicker chairs. I don't know how anyone could stand wearing this without becoming very sick later on in the day.

    Dragon's Claw

Smooth, polished and lethally sharp: dragon’s blood resin and three sandalwoods. Strong, and a scent which is curiously both "gummy" and "dry" at the same time, after a while it begins to smell like a polished block of wood that's been carved into a miniature Buddha, miniature because the DB wouldn't let it become any bigger. Too strong and single noted for me but sandalwood lovers should flock to it.

    Dragon's Bone

Dragon's Blood made dry and weak by sandalwood, made vile by orris. Not a winner

    Dragon's Hide

Like new car mixed with DB, both of which do not mesh well, at least on my skin.

    Dragon's Reverie

Wearing it I get the distinct scent of flowers and sweet golden sunshine, which instantly teleported me back into the great outdoors of my childhood home. Such a wonderful nostalgic reminder of a happy time and place!! Who knew I was a baby dragon? Bottle worthy for sure.

    Dragon's Tears

It reminds me of a sweet blue perfume I remember having once many xmases ago, lovely memory. I don't get any dragon's blood coming to the fore though, the sweet oceanic spray dominates. I'm glad it helped me resurrect this ancient perfume's memory, maybe I'll keep it in mind for bottle worthiness.

    Dragon's Eye

A piercing, radiant perfume: dragon's blood resin, lily of the valley, lilac and galbanum. Soft ruddy DB, nicely complimented by the Lilac, but then completely dashed by the Galbanum which always smells like bad cheap soap on me. Not enough to scare me away from the lovely Dragon line, but Galbanum certainly just has to go.

    Scherezade

Soft and sultry, warm red musk and spices with a tiny musty patchouli undertone thrown in. The patch makes it feel very alternative and headshoppy, that's about the only thing I don't particularly care for about it. On the positive side, the minute I walked into the mall wearing this a woman working at a little kiosk a distance away from the doors remarked on what a lovely scent I had (Now if only it could provoke the same reaction in the menfolk, *grumble grumble*). Very attention getting.

    Pumpkin I (2012)

Upon first dab Cinnamon wallops me with unrelenting presence and becomes cloying, persistent and strong. I can't smell any pumpkin at all and the leather and hay commingle into something dreadful, like BO. I wanted so badly to like this one though...

    Blue Moon 2012

Goes on pretty, like something my mother might've worn when I was little...then morphs into hairspray. Maybe with time and aging it will improve?

    Blauer Mond

Started out with the sea buckthorn I really love... and then a Jasmine scent I have never actually experienced, it was gross instead of great. I've never had jasmine turn on me like this before, Blauer Mond and I just were not meant to be.

    Nanshe

Lemons. And I thought citrus was an "upper" not a "downer" aroma... The lemon is strong and drowns out the other notes, until I get lavender and then something I wanna call flax seed a little later on. Not my first choice for a scent, and yet I feel more calm after application. I'll use the imp for sleep but I'm not gung ho for a bottle anytime soon.

Beer from the Marsh Woman's Brewery

No beer at all (not that I would've enjoyed that) but the stale stink of stagnant swamp comes out loud and clear. The Hogweed so much so I feel as if I'm being assailed by mosquitoes this very minute...and itching too. Yick.

Old Demons of the First Class

Peppery patchouli. And upon second glance at the components I find not a drop of actual patchouli present at all, go figure. Needless to say I don't fancy patchouli and so will not be coming back to this scent in the future.

    Oneiroi

Soft lavender and jasmine pjs to wrap oneself in as night falls and the eyelids become heavy, sandalwood gives it an extra sophisticated air, it's most like BBW's Midnight Tea blend. In fact I would recommend using both in conjunction with one another, that'll be a crazy ride! Since Mugwort is said to hone psychic abilities, I will be paying extra attention to how it affects my dreamstate.

    Morocco Bath Oil

The bath oil is so light it completely dilutes and disappears in the tub. Bah. And to top it all off the admin. charged me full price for another part of my order *they* royally screwed up on by giving me a 4 0z. bottle in place of my requested 8 0z. Admin didn't even have the courtesy to answer *any* of my emails (PLURAL) for help. I am mightily displeased with my quality of service (and I use the term extremely lightly) and will no longer be ordering *anything* from BPTP, and I don't recommend them to anyone else either.

    #20 Love Oil

Open the bottle and stand aside, it's STRONG! Which makes me nervous. The scent for me is some mixture of eucalyptus, magnolia and rose, which would be fine if they all weren't turned up to 11. Seriously, the strength of this mix is overwhelming, I can apply it and live with it but just barely. It marches right up to the threshold of a migraine and pauses there, daring me to push it over the edge. It authentically matches it's Hoodoo reputation for power, although I'm not so sure about it being great manbait I'm afraid. Use with extreme caution-
