    Depraved

I just sniffed the imp, and came away with the impression of fruit covered in dirt. As I am not a fruit fan and not a dirty smell fan, I'm not going to bother to test this one.

The Bow & Crown of Conquest

Wet, I can smell the cedar, white musk, leather, and vanilla immediately. This is very light on me, much lighter than I would have expected as cedar and vanilla both are usually very strong on my skin. About five minutes later, the combination of leather, vanilla, and sage is serving to make this a lot like Western Diamondback, but more subdued and dusty. The lavender and carnation are starting to peek through as well. This is really a lovely scent; I am totally surprised. I don't know what I was expecting, but this gorgeous scent isn't it.

    Black Forest

This is very forest-y and very masculine. I can definitely pick out the pine strongest, followed by the black musk. It's a little overpowering for me.

    Sachs

Oh, I have found so many new delicious blends today! On me, this is pure sweet chamomile and vanilla. Simple, uncomplicated, and beautiful. It is also extremely relaxing to me, even more so than TKO. I feel like I need to buy buckets of Sachs and use it in my scent bug for sleeping, and on myself when I want to feel relaxed. Unfortunately, it disappears rather quickly on my skin, but I do have a scent locket on order. I'll be excited when I can wear this in my locket all day!

    Sara Pezzini

Sara Pezzini is rather delicious on my skin. I can quite clearly smell the musk and leather, with a little bit of honey sweetening it up. This starts to turn a little powdery as it dries, but it's powdery in a good way. This really does smell like (clean) sweaty skin and leather! It is a very evocative blend to me and I like it. I'm starting to really stock up on leather blends, so I'm not sure if I need it, but it is beautiful. Once fully dry, the leather really takes over. This is almost pure leather at this point. I think I will try it in a scent locket to preserve the musk and honey.

    Dancing Koi

I had initially avoided this scent due to the lack of obviously sweet notes, but upon reading reviews I knew I had to give this a try. This scent is so well blended that I have trouble picking out individual notes. This is definitely a musky leather scent. The champaca and incense sweeten this up enough that I love wearing it. It is not by any means a "sweet" scent, but it is quite delicious. I may have to get a bottle of this. Added 5/31 - I'm retesting a bunch of stuff and thought I'd add my 3 months aged impression. The little bit of sweetness I originally got from this scent has been totally destroyed and stomped upon by the clove and other bitter notes. It is just extremely bitter at this point on my skin.

The First of the Three Spirits

I was frimped a tester of this. In the imp: Buttery musk? Wha..? For some reason this does smell like a sweet butter to me right now. Wet on my skin: The strange buttery impression is not present on my skin. This is mostly amber and a creamy vanilla, with the white musk and flowers hiding underneath. This is a very pretty scent. Dry: I can definitely see where comparisons to Angel, and even The Girl, come from - but The First of the Three Spirits is very much its own unique scent. It goes a little too powdery-sweet for my tastes, but I'm very glad I got tot experience it.

    Cloister Graveyard in the Snow

I do get a blast of a citrus-y smell from the frankincense upon opening my tester, but the white musks and ozone balance it out nicely on my skin. This smells very classy and very clean to me - like an expensive soap. The mint is present as more of an afterthought than a dominant smell. I don't notice it so much as feel it in the back of my nose when I breathe in. I am overall very impressed and I have a feeling a bottle of this will be sneaking into my cart next time I make an order.

    The Girl

Wow, this scent is beautiful! I'm not a huge fan of florals but this is a winner. I was frimped a tester of this by a totally awesome forumite. The Girl is a very "white" scent on me. I can pick out the Dorian-style pale musk, amber, ylang ylang, jasmine, and some light, airy woods. This scent is very ethereal and lovely. It just squirmed its way into my top 10. Now, to find a bottle...

    Brisingamen

The amber necklace of Freyja, Norse Goddess of Love, Sex, Attraction and Fruitfulness. Her magnificent necklace was bought from four Dwarves [Alfrik, Berling, Dvalin and Grer] at the price of four nights of her passion. When Brisingamen graces your throat, no man can resist your charms. A glittering mantle of rich golden notes: five ambers, soft myrtle and apple blossom, myrtle, and carnation. Initially, I get some strong carnation and myrtle. However, when this scent dries down, nothing but amber is left. The amber goes to powder shortly afterwards.

    Red Lantern

This is sickly sweet caramel wet on my skin. The coconut comes out almost immediately, and the spices start to come out after about 10 minutes. Sickly sweet is how this stays on me, even though it becomes slightly more balanced over time. I'm hoping age will mellow this scent out some, so I'm keeping my decant for now.

    Valse Finale et Apotheose

I get 80% apple blossom, 10% mint, and 10% honey, it feels like. I wish I got more mint and honey than apple. It's a very pretty scent, but I'm just not a huge fan of apple scents. If I was, I would be buying backup bottles like nobody's business. It really is nice.

    Tea

This is an overpowering blast of lemon at first, but the lemon calms down a little bit so that I can smell the tea after about ten minutes. It really does stay smelling like pure lemon tea.

    The Ring

This is not quite what I was expecting. Wet on my skin, I'm predominantly getting hay, patchouli, and mint. I don't smell the mint so much as feel it. The effect of this is like sniffing some warm hay, but coming away from it with a chill in the back of your nose. It's kind of strange. I was definitely hoping for more amber, frankincense, and skin musk. It doesn't really change over the drydown. This blend is not a keeper for me, which is kind of sad as I had the highest hopes for this scent.

    Burning Vulva

This is strangely mild on my skin. I was expecting more of a punch-you-in-the-face burning spiciness, but I have to bring my wrist pretty close to get a good sniff. Wet, I do smell mostly pepper. This scent is complex enough that I can't really pick out the other notes. I can very faintly smell the orange blossom. I was really hoping for vanilla to really come out on the drydown, and it does. I just went from somewhat hating this scent to liking it. It's a fiery vanilla skin musk on me right now. Unfortunately, the vanilla all but disappears again, but the myrrh makes a clear appearance and the pepper keeps going strong. What a strange scent. It is definitely a morpher and I could see it smelling really great on people who amp vanilla, but it's not for me.

    Couple Engaged in Lovemaking

Wow, this smells REALLY foody on me. I feel like I have eaten something that smells exactly like this. In fact, this smells exactly like a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of black tea with lemon. I knew I was taking a risk with this one because I don't like super foody scents, but it was definitely interesting to try.

    Loosening of the Obi

I'm mostly getting white musk and sandalwood while wet. As it starts to dry, I'm now picking up the rice wine as well. The overall effect of this just smells somewhat clean and soapy on my skin.

    Olisbos

I'm starting to think I love the idea of leather blends a whole lot more than I like the smell. Wet on my skin, Olisbos smells like citrus-scented cleaning fluid. 10 minutes: I'm still waiting for the cleaning fluid smell to leave. Later: Yep, the cleaning fluid smell isn't leaving. Olisbos and I just are not meant to be.

    Womb Furie

Womb Furie is sweetened Snake Oil with a slightly lighter feel. I really don't think I can say much more about it than that. On my skin, it's similar enough that I don't think I can justify keeping both this and SO, so I may use my decant but I don't see a bottle in my future. I am glad I got to try it, though.

    Time Does Not Bring Relief

Wow, this scent sure does smell different on everyone. While wet, this scent is very reminiscent of cologne with violets. It even smelled like alcohol. I started to turn my nose up at it, but within five minutes the violet cologne smell totally disappeared and left behind the white tea, beeswax, lavender, and leather. It smells very similar to Ü with added lavender on my skin right now. I LOVE this stage. This may be a bottle purchase. Edit: I think I spoke too soon. I did think this had settled, but the violet made one last return and brought this scent into the realm of powder. Nevermind.

    Night's Pavilion

This was a real surprise for me. I'm not going to lie, I got a decant for the name and poem. I agree that this smells juicy and a bit citrusy. It does not go OMGFLORAL! on me, it's just enough floral to keep this away from smelling totally like fruit. This scent to me smells clean and light, and it does not morph on my skin. I am definitely keeping my decant, and I may get more.

    Eos

This is just straight jasmine and honeysuckle on me. I'm really not a jasmine fan, so this is off to my swaps box - assuming I ever actually get around to swapping/selling anything.

    Lampades

Lampades definitely starts off a sweet and tart cranberry scent. It also immediately has a lot of throw - I'm testing several blends at once and this is the only one I can smell at the moment. The spices start to come out after about 10 minutes, but this is still overpoweringly cranberry. Take the apples out of cider and add cranberry in its place. That really is this perfume. It doesn't change much as I wear it. I can definitely see the comparisons to Bordello - this stays extremely sweet and fruity on me like Bordello does. I think it's too sweet, and I'm sure someone out there will appreciate the fruitiness much more than I do.

    Hetairae

Wet on my skin: This is a definitely a honey blend. I smell honey, honey, honey and a touch of ylang ylang. Drydown: The clove and patchouli come out to play, making this a more well-rounded blend. It is very sexy to my nose, but I'm not sure if it's sexy in a way that I like smelling. I don't know if that makes sense or not. I will retest later when I'm not testing so many scents at once, as I can't seem to make up my mind about it right now. Further drydown: Okay, I changed my mind. Hetairae lost the florals that made me hesitant. I am now agreeing with the reviewer that called this a sweet skin scent. I love it and I'm definitely keeping the imp, and maybe investing in a bottle.

    Door

I thought I had reviewed Door already; I guess not. Wet, I get mostly chamomile and honey. They combine gorgeously in this blend. I can pick out the tobacco, but it plays very nicely in the background. Nothing else jumps out. This doesn't really morph on me, and it lasts. I can still pick up traces of it on my skin six hours later. Door is a winner and one of my favorite oils.
