    Vasilissa

jasmine and i usually do not get along-- it has a tendency to smell like a dirty diaper on my skin. somehow, though, vasilissa contains some kind of alchemy that actually makes it work with my chemistry. the word i would use to describe this scent is, strangely, "pink." i don't know why it smells particularly pink to me, but it does-- like rosy, slightly-faded pink curtains, actually. weird enough for you? the dry-down is when it smells best, and the scent is warm and a little dusty and woody on my skin. and pink. i love it.

    Bess

mmm, i love this. bess reminds me a lot of catherine, as some others have noted, but on the dry-down this smells a lot more grapey on me than catherine does. it's a delicious, fresh, feminine summer scent and is one of my stand-by fragrances.

    Dana O'Shee

oh my stars and garters, this is delicious. i got it as a freebie in one of my orders and... just... yum. it smells very warm on my skin, like toasted almonds and sweet milk. unfortunately it fades pretty quickly, but i don't even care. i will gladly apply this every hour if i have to.

    Voodoo

i love this. it sat in my imp box unused for quite a while, and then i wore it on a whim one day and got hooked. it's very autumnal to me, so i've been wearing it on the days i crave autumn (which is most days at this point of the year). when i first put it on, it's all lime and pine. it smells a little bit like floor cleaner, actually, which is why i think it took me a while to try it again. but once it starts to dry and mellow, it comes out very spicy and warm. there's a lot of clove on my skin and a touch of creamy almond, while everything else just creates this gorgeous backdrop of spiciness behind it. not foody spiciness-- not on me at least. this doesn't particularly smell like cookies on me, like some noted. it just smells warm and wonderfully sexy. this scent is a dream, and i am saving up my pennies to buy a bottle ASAP.

    Tweedledee

i really, really wanted to love this scent. from the notes in the description, it sounded like absolute heaven. in the bottle, it smells nice and fresh and fruity and almost kind of effervescent and i love it. but on my skin it turns into something that smells like cloyingly sweet, slightly-off orange kool-aid. such a tragedy. darn this skin chemistry! i imagine it can smell wonderful on other people, though. lucky devils.

    Ladon

i love Ladon. that's just all there is to it. i was on the hunt for a signature scent, something i wanted to wear every day. i thought i'd settled on one (delirium), but then ladon arrived with one of my orders as a freebie. love at first sniff. i don't have experience with other fragrances containing dragon's blood, so i'm not familiar with that note. it could be playing in a bit, but what stands out to me is apple blossom, hyacinth, and an almost creamy apple scent. it's clean and sweet without being cloying. it is absolutely divine, and i would bathe in it if i could.
