  1. Minty lemony green tea is what I get at first, and then the amber and tea add some warmth. I don't get any leather, sadly. I like this and am glad the Lab sent me a frimp of it. Not sure I'd buy a bottle, and I will share this one with a friend for Christmas.

  2. In the bottle: Woah, lavender! Hint of wood and flowers. Promising.

Wet: Floral, but balanced. Not much wood now, but there is some. I like this stage OK, although this is more floral than I like for a scent I wear often.

Drydown: Gardenia!! Just a hint of something herbal, almost minty--must be the sandalwood. Very cool, moderate to strong throw.

Dry: Still just mostly gardenia with a slight woody base. Was hoping for more lavender and sandalwood over all. My skin just ate it up. I'll be giving this one to a friend who loves gardenia, which give me a headache. Off to scrub...

  3. I got a barely testable sniffie of this from a purchase, and I was interested in giving it a try after a sniff of the imp, despite having very little luck over the years with sugary scents from any perfumer. It's very, very sweet, a soft, young scent. It's not my usual style, but I might use it in the summer if I had a decant. It's more of a beachy scent than a winter scent to me, perhaps because of the fruity/coconutty note that reminds me of tall tropical cocktails. :)

I didn't get any mint, I agree with others that there is a bit of a powder note a la Antique Lace. No change wet to to dry-down on my skin. Moderate throw, not very long lasting, but remember I just had a dab to try. So maybe it would be a bigger scent with a lavish application.

It's for young and young-at-heart foodie lovers, I think,

  4. I just got a bottle of this, and I agree that it is showing its age (2004; which makes it 13 years old). It might be best to use it up quickly. I slathered it on, and the scent is fading quickly. I can use it for a bedtime scent,, and it might layer well, so it's all good.

Lovely soft winter scent, similar to Snow White; I think due to the age, it's hardly minty at all. I'm glad I tried it, and I do like it.
