Woe. I was really looking forward to this scent because rose and tangerine jumped out at me but all I get is soapy jasmine. and band-aid.

    Jezebel

Biblical witch, priestess of Astarte, and general troublemaker. A true role model for today’s upwardly mobile Modern Woman. A gloriously decadent blend of honey, roses, orange blossom and sandalwood. I love rose so this was another one I wanted to try. Well, wouldn't you know it, but I barely got any rose at all! Wet, I got a nice mix of honey and orange but as it dried, it went all honey on me. Not bad mind you, but I was hoping for a little more.

    Seraglio

I'm the rose obsessed forumite mentioned above and wouldn't you know it, but this doesn't turn rosey on me at all. Wet this was all almond. It reminded a bit of almond cookies. As it dried, the clove and the orange peel emerged, turning it very spicy. Interesting! I might have to do some layering experimentation with this one.

    Black Pearl

This scent momentarly excited me because I was able to pick out a note for once! And it was coconut. Lots and lots of coconut. As it dried down, it seemed to be cut with something a little peppery, maybe the musk? (I have a very untested and unknowing nose). I could almost pick out the hazelnut. But in the end, way too much cocunut for me.

    Whip

I'm a big rose fan so I've been trying to test out as many rosey scents as I can gather. I was a little hesitant about the idea of leather in this scent but on me, I don't notice it at all. This becomes a really wonderful fresh rose scent. Not dry like London or green like Pride. Just lovely, lovely roses. I ordered a bottle straightaway and I'm waiting impatiently.

    The Caterpillar

In the bottle: This smells like a typical perfume. Very perfume alcohol scent. Wet: Very sharp greenish scent. Floral, too but not a sweet floral. I can't pick up any of the notes but I suck at that. It's quite nice, actually. I don't get any of the supposed incense which is fine by me. Drying down: It's getting sweeter now. And a bit powdery. I think I'll hold on to this one for another try. Later: I'm really liking this. It's sweeter but not nasty sweet. And it no longer has that typical perfume smell. I don't think I'd get a bottle but I'm keeping the imp.

    Moon Rose

A crisp, pale, almost translucent rose dusted by moonflower and midnight dew. I adore rose scents so I was eager to try this one. Unfortunately, it's not rosey enough for me. I get the rose when I open the imp but when the oil gets on my skin, it sort of becomes a generic floral scent with a green hint to it. I get barely any rose at all.

    London

I'm a BPAl newbie and ths is the first scent I'm trying. I love rose scents. This one is like a dried rose. Not very heavy at all. Pretty light. I don't know if I'll order a bottle because I'm awaiting other rose scents but this is very nice for my first try.
