    Skuld

In bottle: Honey and musk. It has such promise! Wet: A softer scent, the honey and musk are prominent with just a touch of floral. Dry: And then the floral pops and the honey recedes and I'm left with just a trace of the note I wanted most. Notes: Much flowery then I had hoped for. A pretty scent but not for me I think.

    Coyote

In bottle: hmmm, This SOUNDS delightful. Wet: Soft floral musk? Really? How am I getting just soft floral musk out of this? Dry: Yup smells like soft floral musk. Exciting. Notes: Aaand for the finish we have baby powder. Apparently my skin REALLY like Coyote and does not want to share its wonderful notes.

    Baron Samedi

In bottle: Wood and rum Wet: Wood ash, the lingering trace of smoke, and rum, definitely a fitting scent for the Baron. Dry: I was expecting more of a boozy debauched scent. Instead it smells like someone poured a token drink over the last remains of a fragrant fire. Solemn but not sad, a joyful celebration of death. Notes: Not one of those everyday scents for me but I definitely like it. We’ll see how long the imp lasts.

    Baobhan Sith

In bottle: white tea and apple blossom with a touch of ginger. Wet: Grapefruit and ginger, with the tea starting to rear it’s head. Dry: The tea takes dominance over the fruits and florals and gives it a sophisticated feel. Notes: A nice scent but more “perfumey” then I was hoping for, I prefer the playfulness of Cheshire Cat’s grapefruit to the more sedate and classier version here. I think it’s the tea that makes the difference on me.

    Absinthe

In Bottle: Sharp and astringent. It smells like a very light green. Wet: The mint and lemon slide and slither over a base of spice. Dry: A light scent that remains true to the in bottle smell and description. Notes: If the drink is anything like how this scent smells, I’m really curious to try it now.

    Prurience

In bottle: Scorched and charred are good adjectives for this. Smells likes something musky and floral lit on fire and this is the remains. Wet: Okay the burned smell is present but more of a background haze. I'm not super familiar with the separate smells of most of the notes, but it's much more mellow then in the bottle. Leaning towards the amber/musk and darker notes then the light florals. Dry: The haze is gone leaving behind a complex amber/musk concoction. It is much lighter then I thought it would be. Notes: Definitely a unisex scent, for me anyways. It's got a hint of bite and could work well for someone not keen on florals and into the bpal musk or vetiver notes.

    Croquet

In Bottle: Bright citrus with a hint of earthier scents. Wet: It glistens and shines. You can almost smell the effervescent pinkness of it. I’m getting more lime and nectarine for fruit notes then the grapefruit that I was hoping for. The rose and sage seem to be shining through as well. Dry: Fruits fade and I get more of the rose now, with the patchouli and musk slowly making itself known, but they add to the lightness rather then ground it. It’s still a very pink scent and everything appears to be blending and swirling together rather then one or two notes stealing center stage. Notes: This appears to be a light throw and quick fader on me (granted I only tested lightly). I wish the grapefruit note was more dominant instead of the nectarine but overall it’s a very pretty blend.

    Jabberwocky

In Bottle: Mostly pine and eucalyptus with just a hint of citrus. Wet: A pretty simple combination. I like how fresh it smells. Dry: Stays true to the in bottle scent. Notes: Clean, tangy, and fresh. I love it's simplicity and fresh forest feel.

    Blood

In Bottle: Hello cherry! Lightened by the myrrh, but mostly cherry. Wet: Cherry cough drop with a touch of spice from the clove upon first application but it quickly morphs to a spicy resin, with the cherry fading to the background. Dry: Spicey clove and resin with a subtle sticky sweetness from the cherry. Notes: A good solid spice, incense scent and fun for anyone looking for a fun morpher! Don't let the "in bottle" scent mislead you on this one.

    Tweedledum

In Bottle: Green tea and patchouli are the dominant notes with a trace of sweetness from the fruit. I’ll admit I’m not sure what fig should smell like. Wet: Stays pretty true to the ‘in bottle’ smell. Dry: Fades quickly on me which is too bad. Overall it’s a nice scent. Notes: Ends up being sweet patchouli after an hour, which is nice but sadly not particularly interesting on me.

    Khrysee

In bottle: Vanilla and amber with just a touch of sweet floral citrus Wet: A slight sugared orange with just enough amber to keep it from being too foodie. Dry: Vanilla infused with orange, almost like an orange creamsicle but without the whole wanting to lick your arm part. Notes: I got this as a frimp from a kind forum seller. It is a wonderfully sweet scent without being sickly. I just wish it wasn’t a past LE because I would love to get my hands on more of it!

    Kyoto

In bottle: A soft, almost sweet herbal scent. The star anise behaves itself here. Wet: The sandalwood and soft cherry shine with a slight hint of licorice from the star anise peeking through. Dry: It morphs back and forth between a strong licorice and a well balanced blend of sandalwood, sherry and the spice of the star anise. Not a ton of staying power but a decent throw. Notes: It’s an interesting scent and I definitely plan on holding onto the imp but that should be more then enough for me.

    Shango

In bottle: Wooph smells like lifesavers! Wet: Sugary pineapples, cut with coconut and banana. I get a touch of apple as well. Dry: Not nearly as frightening as the strong candy smell form the bottle. The individual scents can be found in the medley (except for the pomegranate) which is nice but the sugary overlay is a bit much for me when combined with the hint of pepper. Notes: Unfortunately it appears I amp the sugar like crazy rather then the tastey fruit parts.

    Dragon's Eye

In bottle: Very floral, lilac and a touch of lily. Wet: Lilac, honest to god, straight from the flower lilac! It’s got some slight hints of the other floral mucking it up but they don’t detract too much from the overall scent. As long as it hold true dry, I may have found a floral I like. Dry: Good throw for about an hour or two and then dies down to a skin scent. The dragon’s blood never shows and the other florals are consumed by the great lilac scent. It gets a little heady after two hours but overall true lilac. Notes: Lilac and I have a love hate relationship. I love the fresh flowers but fake lilac makes me nauseous. Dragon’s eye keeps from being plastic but borders on the sharper edge of the scent. Definitely a keeper for me, but I would have loved to smelled more of the dragon’s blood in it.

    Copper Phoenix

In bottle: Like the other phoenix’s, this one is super well blended. It’s hard to pick out the individual notes but it just feels bright and coppery, with a solid base of amber, patchouli, and peppery spice. Wet: This is somehow both bright and dark at the same time. The sweet notes or amber and a slight citrus glide over the darker patchouli, wood, and pepper. Dry: Eventually this morphs to an accented patchouli/amber blend, with the other subtle notes emerging on different sniffs to keep it interesting. Notes: Definitely a keeper. A complex scent that definitely evokes the concept and shows off the different facets of it’s personality throughout the drydown.

    Mead Moon

In bottle: a sweet honey mead and cream. Wet: Sugary honey with sweet milk. Dry: A softer scent, subtle and sweet. Notes: I was hoping for a touch more of the sharp mead and spice rather then soft and sweet, once again, my skin betrays me!

    Envy

In bottle: A sharp green scent. Wet: Bitter and sharp, lots of citrus and herb. Dry: Definitely green, with a sharp bitter edge that vies with the lavender to keep it centered Notes: Sharper then I was expecting. Not unpleasant but not an everyday scent for me, would have loved to see the mint or lavender amp on me but alas not to be.

    Belle Vinu

In Bottle: Sandalwood and a fresh clean scent with a slight touch of floral. Wet: A mist of piercing peach with just a touch of an almost linen like floral that changes to a vanilla sandalwood and back depending on when sniffed. Dry: Soft vanilla and sandalwood with occasional sharp notes of peach. Notes: Pretty, not sure if it’s really me, but pretty.

    Bastet

In bottle: A warm golden scent, soft and luxurious. The amber and almond are most prominent. Wet: Sweeter then I expected, the amber and almond are grounded by the musk. Soft and sensual. Dry: The sweet almond recedes before the musk, myrrh, and spices to reveal a more sultry and fierce scent. The softness remains in the background, balancing nicely. Notes: Morphing from the warm sweet and almost fuzzy scent to the more leonine musk and spice combination, I read that this one fits a variety of skin types who like musk and that held true for me as well. Highly recommended for a starter!

    Arachnina, The Spider Girl (2006)

In bottle: Very much a light clean perfume scent. I’m not familiar with most of the notes (except patchouli) but it seems to have little in the way of fruit or floral notes. Wet: A hazy green scent (maybe from the poppy?), with a creamy patchouli (not an adjective I normally use with that note!) and a light sweet note that is trying to decide if it wants to be a floral and musk or fruit and musk. Overall the combination is very engaging. Dry: Poppy and musk with just a hint of that creamy earth from the patchouli. The florals are playing a delicate balancing act with the nicotiana. It feels mature, seductive, and just a touch dangerous. Notes: To me it evokes imagery of silky cobwebs, and a tantalizing figure just barely glimpsed behind them. And you know if you go in you’ll never come back out…

    The Great Sword of War

In bottle: Mandarin, tonka and the cocoa and tobacco leaf take precedence. Wet: The dried tonka and cocoa combine with the tobacco very nicely. The mandarin gives it a slight citrus sweetness that sparkles with promise underneath. Dry: The Citrus shines through a little brighter but overall not much morph. A really compelling scent and a keeper but not one for every day wear methinks. Notes: The mandarin lasts while the other notes fade over time. A sweet citrus with just a hint of lemon. It’s nice but I really enjoy it’s duet with the other notes above so the imp alone should hold me on this one.

    Priala, the Human Phoenix (2006)

Three deep, dark myrrhs, smoke, and cinnamon bark. In bottle: Myrrh and smoke, no cinnamon. Wet: Wooph this one has some throw. A deep rich blend that is definitely fitting for the concept. Dry: The combination is enthralling, the cinnamon bark and myrrh’s mix is fantastic and it definitely evokes imagery of something exotic and mysterious. Notes: Strong, this is not a scent to slather on. It has great lasting power. Distinctive and not for the weak of heart.

    Wood Phoenix

In bottle: A bit green and strong, I’m catching walnut, wood, and something a touch sweeter, maybe the fig? Wet: An utterly delicious blend that puts you in the middle of an forest after a rain storm storm in summer when everything is wet and earthy and simply wonderful smelling. Dry: This mellows out to a lovely woods scent that is complex and simple at the same time. Notes: Hmm I may need to hunt up a bottle of this somehow...

    Tamora

In bottle: Sweet, vanilla and amber and just a hint of a juicy fruit. Wet: Hello, baby powder. Where did you come from? Dry: Well a slightly fruity baby powder, is slightly better then straight baby powder right? Notes: This sounded so promising! I’ve been loving the ambers in Beth’s mixes but my skin apparently decided to misbehave with one of the notes. Fortunately my friend likes it (and her skin does too) so my loss is her gain!

    Blood Lotus

Lush, velvet-red blooms born from the blood shed in the eternal battle between Set and Horus the Avenger. Inspired by Tammy Roth. In bottle: A lot like the Red Queen this one opens up with a syrupy sweetness on first sniff. Another whiff shows that there are more subtle notes clamoring for attention, a touch of a floral that almost smells juicy and something slightly spicy. I’m assuming that the dragon’s blood and lotus (having never smelled those scents before). Wet: Not nearly as sweet or floral as it smelled in the bottle. The Dragon’s blood smells dry, slightly incensey and almost spicy, and comes to the foreground on this one with a vengeance. A hint of sweetness stays in the background, though it smells more fruity then floral which is surprising to me but from checking out previous reviews not unexpected. Dry: Not a strong scent. Apparently my skin really likes this one and is just sucking it up. The dry dragon’s blood note is still dominant with the lotus hovering in the background to keep it from being too incensey. Notes: I actually really like this scent, which is surprising because I wasn't expecting to. Be careful upon first opening it however, the sweet fruity smell builds up and can be deceiving! It morphs between the dry spicey dragon’s blood and the sweet counterpoint of the lotus. I’m actually pretty happy that lotus is more fruity then floral and it reminds me a lot of how Red Queen morphed from my fruity expectations to a more balanced combo. Definitely a keeper!
