    Lycaon

In bottle: dark heavy incense. Wet: Same as in bottle. Dry: Still a heavy scent though it does mellow considerably. Notes: If you are into darker scents, this might be a good choice for you!

    Lotus Moon 2010

In bottle: A gorgeous light blend that is slightly floral, slightly spicey, and all awesomeness. Wet: It’s hard for me to pick out the individual notes though I can definitely feel their influence. The amber and frankincense are tempered by the pom and sandalwood, while the lotus and rose add just a touch of sweetness. Dry: This really is a lovely complex scent. I love what the pomegranate is doing to help ground the incense and floral notes. Notes: This feels feminine and powerful without any being overpowering in any way. I wish it had a touch more staying power but overall it’s simply lovely.

    Mictecacihuatl

In bottle: agave nectar, sweet resin and woods. Wet: This is a well blended mix. The agave note is definitely adding a warm sweetness and the resin, spice, and woods blend seamlessly. The rose is noticeable but appears to be behaving itself for a change, and it’s not so distinctive I can’t stand it. Dry: I’m in love. This is just a super sexy blend. The resin/spice/wood is just gorgeously blended. There is a light, lasting sweetness that I have been looking for from the honeys and been failing to find, with an earthy spiciness that is super appealing. The rose adds a feminine flair without demanding too much attention and plays well with the nectar. Notes: I’ll admit I was super worried about the rose in this. All of the rest of the notes sound amazing, but rose has been a death note for me in too many blends to not see it in a list and feel a touch of trepidation. Nice to know my worry was unfounded this once!

    Velvet Bandito

In bottle: Sweet clove and tobacco. Wet: The clove is super strong but delicious. This thing packs a punch. Dry: This smells so much like my memory of the clove cigarettes my friend used to smoke. While I never really like the cigarette part of the equation, I did love the sweet smokey scent of them and it brings back sooo many good memories of that time. Notes: It may be the memories that I associate with this scent that made me fall in love with it, but I’m so glad that it found me!

    The Witch Queen

In bottle: A gorgeous blend, very reminiscent of Mme Moriarty with subtle soft incense, smoke, and plummy florals. Wet: The parallels continue. Soft and subtle rather then intense but truly a lovely blend. Dry: My skin loves to nom plum and make it non-existent, and somehow grabs the rest of this one with the plum. A very low throw and it’s rapidly disappearing. Notes: A gorgeous blend but soft where I expected intense from how I’ve always thought of the Witch Queen…

    Tristran

In bottle: A lovely mix of dusty woods, citrus and patchouli Wet: A slightly sweet cologne. Dry: As this dries the notes all sort of merge and it’s hard to really pick one over the other. Sadly it seems a bit too cologne-y for me. Notes: I can definitely see this fitting Tristran, and I think it would be a lovely scent on the right guy.

    Fairy Wine

In bottle: Honeyed fruit. Wet: Bitter green dandelion over a slightly sour wine. Dry: It calms down sand sweetens up a LOT, but the bitter dandelion never goes away. Notes: It's kinda sad that I amped the dandelion, I really wanted this one to work.

    Lady Una

In bottle: Honey musk and green tea. Wet: Green tea, the hint of blackberry, sweet honey/vanilla musk and some subtle spice lying underneath it all. Dry: Absolutely lovely, the vanilla really pops and this feels feminine without being a screaming girly scent on me. I’m in love. Notes: This ended up being a light refreshing scent and definitely the winner.

    Spider

In bottle: Citrus and spice. Wet: A lot of citrus with hints of pizzazz from the ginger, vetiver and nutmeg. Dry: The vetiver dances a tango with the citrus, sometimes one leading, sometimes the other. Notes: A sexy unisex scent and as long as the vetiver plays nice this is an awesome blend.

    Black Heart

Sweet pea, vanilla-infused sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, white honey, carnation, pomegranate, Vitis riparia, plum, and cognac. In bottle: Sour grapes, I think the plum and cognac are misbehaving here… Wet: Yup still soup grapes on me. Dry: Wow this is a morpher. On dry down it changes to a beautiful powdery/creamy vanilla, honey, floral with just the lingering trace of the fruits. Notes: Unfortunately I can’t get over the wet smell, it lingers just enough to ruin this one on me. Still the morph is truly amazing and it came so close to working.

    The Floating Market

In bottle: Hello wasabi! Wet: A sharp almost grassy scent due to the wasabi, can’t miss this one! I’m getting some of the balsam, citrus, and the odd blend of spice. Dry: It calms down slightly but I can’t escape the strong dominant wasabi. Notes: It’s got a strong throw and good lasting power. Not really an attractive scent on me however which is disappointing. Definitely a fun try however!

    Mr. Vandemar

In bottle: Sandalwood and pepper. Wet: I’m not familiar with many of these notes, but I’m getting a noseful of pepper when wet. Dry: Again, I don’t have a good feel for the single notes involved in this blend, but it feels, sharp, artificial, and a touch metallic. Notes: Again, a really interesting blend, I always enjoy trying unusual scents…

    The Rat Speakers

In bottle: Green lemon and sage. Wet: As this warms up, the patchouli blossoms. Dry: Good throw and lasting power. The patchouli and sage take center with the fig and lemongrass adding a hint of bite. Notes: All in all it definitely feels like a brown snuffling sort of scent. A very good match to the descriptor.

    Night's Bridge

In bottle: Ozone and a dusky musk Wet: This doesn’t have a lot of throw on my sadly, what little I am getting is a sweet ozone. Dry: It’s more like an aura or mist hanging in the air. Slightly perfumey and quite sweet. Notes: I expected a cold, heavy scent, not this sweet, perfumey surprise! Still not really my tastes, but quite interesting…

    Mr. Croup

In bottle: a dark musky geranium Wet: Wow, it really does evoke imagery of crushed porcelain... Dry: I’m not entirely sure what the tonka note smells like, but the evocative porcelain imagery fades with it’s accompanying note upon drydown, and what I’m guessing is the tonka shows it’s flavors under the musk and ever so slight floral. Notes: Drydown appears to be a dominant musk with some nice subtle tonka and florals. Fun but I prefer my musk to be a supporting note, not the star of the show. Definitely glad I tried it though.

    Endymion

In bottle: A lightly floral pear. Wet: A pretty sparkling blend of lily, pear, and a light musk. Dry: Subtle but pretty, the pear blends well with the lily to start, keeping it in check over the musk base. Sadly (or fortunately for floral lovers) the rose slowly comes out to play and the pear fades. Notes: This is a really light delicate scent. It puts me in mind of white sundresses, tea parties, and large decorative hats. Definitely suggested for anyone who likes rose, as it is fairly noticeable.

    Snap-Dragon-Fly

In Bottle: plum and raisin pudding Wet: Raisins and plum brandy with the suet and pie adding a nice grounding (almost bready) note. Dry: This is a really nice blend, the raisin and plum combine well and it gets a hint of spunk from the brandy while the last two notes stay melded in the whole, it definitely grounds it. Notes: It’s a fun boozy little fall scent. Not good for everyday but worth keeping the little imp’s worth of!

    Imperious Tiger-Lily

In Bottle: Ginger, incense and a trace of florals Wet: Lots of lily, where did the ginger go? Dry: Floral, not for me. Notes: None of the other notes popped but the lily.

    Dragon's Hide

In bottle: Mostly Dragon’s Blood with a trace of leather. Wet: This was mostly Dragon’s Blood on me. It actually felt pretty much like a cologne. Dry: Same as Wet. Notes: I’m thinking that the dragon’s blood just isn’t working for me when it is a dominant note.

    Highwayman

In bottle: Hmm, vetiver takes the lead followed by florals…this doesn’t smell promising… Wet: So I put this one and pretty much washed it off immediately. I have recently discovered jasmine and I don’t get along and with that, the rose, and the vetiver popping it with those notes was highly unpleasant. Dry: Fortunately it didn’t have much time to set, it was tolerable once the majority was washed off… Notes: Not so much for me.

    Magus

In Bottle: It reminds me of incense, powdery, sharp with just a hint of wood. Wet: Smells like incense. Dry: Still powdery incense. Notes: I’m noticing a theme here…

    Swank

Simply cool, the essence of Lounge: the scent of a crisp pomegranate martini. In Bottle: Boozy pomegranate Wet: mmm pomegranate. Dry: It’s slightly artificial from the booze note, but overall a really nice strong pomegranate. Notes: I really like pomegranate so I approve!

    Lampades

In Bottle: Green and bittersweet overlaid on musk Wet: A hint of fruity cranberry, smothered in smokey, spiced musk. Dry: Spicy musk that almost smells like patchouli Notes: This is a nice dark tastey blend. The smoke and musk are dominant and toned by the spices, ginger, and bittersweet.

    Bengal

In bottle: Honey, cinnamon and a touch of clove. Wet: Those small cinnamon candies. Red hots I think? Dry: Yup still cinnamon candy. Notes: Well that’s a little disappointing. I would have loved to have gotten something besides cinnamon…

    Pontarlier

In bottle: A soft sugared, floral blend. Wet: I get a lot of rose and absinthe with a touch of the lilac and lavender- but not nearly enough! Dry: Still no fruit, mostly a sugary rose with some high clean notes and just a trace of the two florals I wanted to pop. Notes: Pretty, but not enough of the notes I like best popped to make it a scent for me.
