    IMP: Sweet, smells almost like honey.

     

    On skin: I think it's the vanilla and currants I can smell here. There's an undertone that reminds me of "ice plants" or aqua (one of my favorite smells ever! ♥). I'm not quite sure what it is but I'm loving it on me :D

     

    Dry down: I'm still smelling the ice plants, but I'm getting some sweet currants here. Very lovely ♥ My favorite of the Alice scents at the moment (even better than Bread and Butterfly!). I'm so much in love this! Gonna be a big BIG bottle for me :wub2: ♥

    IMP: woody vanilla

    On skin: Hmmm unfortunately soapy on my skin which is a shame as I'd really have liked this one to work on me :( This combination doesn't seem to work for me at all.

    Dry down: Still soapy and a bit like medicinal musk. :( Sadface. Definitely not for me. My guess is the Amber or sweet pea.

    IMP: I'm instantly reminded of custard and pineapple, without reading the description :P

     

    On skin: Hmm there's "pastry" in there. Kinda like a pineapple custard tart I suppose.

     

    Dry down: Wow cherry really comes through here. It's giving me a headache-- I'm not a fan of cherry :( I was hoping it'd just be faint, but it gets to the "medicinal" stage on me. That's a shame as I really liked how it smelt to begin with.

    After note: After a few more tries I'm giving up on this scent. I was really hoping and wanting this one to work for me :( Ah well... it's reluctantly off to a cherry-lovin' friend!

    Not only is "bread and butter" one of my favorite desserts, the "Bread-And-Butterfly" is my favorite insect off of Looking Glass. I was so happy when it was released!

     

    Imp: Pure maple syrup, pancakes

    Wet: A *little* less sweet than the imp, something slightly fruity. It no longer reminds me so much of pancakes and it tickles my nose.

    Dry: Getting buttery-er and bread-ier but still sweet. A nice and "creamy" smell now, similar to vanilla.

     

    After an hour: Almost like buttered bread dipped into sweet tea (yummy). It's more butter than I expected and less sweet, but still very nice. I think I'll be buying a big bottle. :wub2:

     

    Update : I just want to say this is my ultimate favourite scent. There's something about the notes in this that is different for me compared to other similar blends and I am so sad it has been discontinued because of missing ingredients. Although foody, on me it develops into a lovely comforting perfume without feeling like I'm drenched in sugar (like Eat Me). And it seems to have aged/kept very well over the years. I will forever hoard my bottle 💕
