  1. In the bottle, this smells divine. I smell a tea note? But I think it may be the vanilla.

On my skin, I think I'm smelling what must be the cardamom and musk more so now, with an undertone of vanilla sugar.

Though it's kind of fade-y, it's def. added to the favourite pile. :)

Also, agreed about the Dorian part. It's really similar, which I love.

The cardamom adds a spice to it for me, though.

  2. In bottle: Acrid dragon's blood! I like!

On skin: Dark, rich, and firey..

    I want to EAT SOMETHING.

An interesting scent for sure, I just don't know if I could wear it every day.

What was I smoking? I could definitely wear this every day, in the fall and winter months at least. It is such an interesting scent, definitely worth smelling even if the notes listed are not your thing. Truly genius.

  3. At first I thought this smelled like..violet? I'm coming to think it's magnolia or perhaps that oleander.

Thankfully, a rush of creamy spice comes through on the skin, which saves this scent for me. Not a favourite but -definitely- a great one.

I spoke too soon; it IS a favourite.

The magnolia and mandarin has come out to play a bit, but the spice remains, and it's just brilliant and delicious.

  4. Azrael is the Angel of Death, marked as the last being to die in the Apocalypse. Though a harbinger of doom, his duties are an act of mercy: he curtails human life before world-weariness and despair destroys our spirits. Warm myrrh swirled with a bittersweet blend of violet, Lily of the Valley, juniper, cypess and cajeput.

In the bottle, I smell violet.
Although I'm pretty new to this, all I can smell is violet on my skin, as well. I don't think violet likes me, either.
This goes powdery on me as it dries down, and I'm pretty sure all I've managed to smell like is my grandmother. Florals hate me.

I had high hopes for this one, too..oh well..maybe a few uses for me and that's it..

  5. In the bottle, The Witch's Repast smells like a delicious, autumnal meal that is also dark and almost spicy. Foreboding. I like it.

Dry, it's a deep scent, and I cannot stop sniffing myself. I really smell the bread at first, but then the meat and honey notes come through, and it's divine. Perhaps the kvass, too? In the end it mellows to a deep, rich smell that I really love. Also long staying power. A keeper for sure, and definitely a favourite.
