    Empyreal Mist

Very light, damp-smelling floral, backed with a white musk. It's cool and damp. Need to apply heavily to get any staying power, but I like this one a lot.

    Eden

In the imp: Wet and green. Delicious! Wet: Leaves and damp greenery, fresh and beautoful. A hint of ripe fig under leaves. I really like this stage. Dry: Unfortunately the damp leaves fades quickly, leaving a sweet fruity fig scent. This is nice, but then goes sweeter and sweeter to pure honey. I wish the wet stage had stuck around! The end result is just too sweet for me. I've heard that Strangler Fig is like the early stages of Eden - will have to try that one!

    Eclipse

A nice spiced, cinnamon-infused almond scent, which isn't as sweet as a lot of other BPAL almond scents. It's not _too_ foody, too... I actually like this, and I don't like many foody scents. While I like the scent itself, I'm not sure I'd wear it regularly. Morocco is another in a similar vein, and I think I prefer that to this.

    Dragon's Tears

In the imp: Salty-sweet. A bit odd, but quite a refreshing scent. Wet: Aquatics, salt, and slightly fruity sweetness. Dry: The sweetness and the salt blend together into an interesting tangy scent... which is completely gone within the hour. My mom thought this smelled like wet plastercine, so I guess it's not all that appealing on me!

    Dorian

Just like it says - a very sweet, sugared tea, with a hint of vanilla. Unfortunately, my skin drinks tea and amps sugar, so I end up smelling like glucose syrup. Not one for me!

    Dirty

Hmm. Laundry softener sheets. Gone rather dry and powdery. It really does smell like fresh-washed laundry... but this is not, on reflection, something I want to smell like. It is very neutral, though, if you're looking for a not-scented scent.

    Desire

On me, this is a strong, bitter, patchouli incense. I do not desire this in the slightest!

    Delight

Nondescript floral perfume scent, but with an undertone of something unpleasantly sharp. Not for me!

    Coyote

In the imp: Amber. Soft, dry, dusky Wet: Soft, supple leather, grasses, amber. A surprising amount of throw! Dry: Warm, comforting, protective. Like summer heat. Mainly amber and musk, but still a hint of leather. I find this scent strangely protective, and calming. Very unusual, very good. A keeper!

    Come to Me

Faintly floral, faintly green, faintly herbal... and quite a lot like soap. In fact, I smell like I’ve had a shower with a really lovely expensive creamy floral soap. Come to Me smells clean and attractive, but not actually perfumy. Guess that might help it to acheive its stated goal, but personally I don't want to smell just of soap!

    Chuparosa

Sweet, gentle florals, with the slightest hint of fruit. I thought this one was quite soft, but evidently it has a heck of a throw - my husband complained from across the room that Chuparosa was "too strong and sweet"! Since I don't wish to drive my husband away, I can't wear Chuparosa. Off to swaps!

    Budding Moon

Budding Moon is a very light, very sweet floral. On me it's all peony and sweet plum, with a tiiiny bit of musk backing it up. I'm sad that the ginger never comes out to play - something crisp and spicy is just what this scent needs to balance it. It's a nice scent for spring, but not an instant-love for me. On someone who doesn't suck up the ginger, I suspect it would be gorgeous. I prefer Peony Moon, which is in a similar vein, but slightly less sweet to my nose.

    Brisingamen

Brisangamen is so well blended I can't pick out any individual notes. It's a bright golden scent, like a halo of light. Not much throw on me, but a delicious sweet-musk-skin scent. Absolutely gorgeous!

    Bon Vivant

I was hoping that the champagne would temper the strawberry and make this into a more sophisticated scent... but on me it's straight strawberry candy. Very, very sweet, and far too akin to a little girl's bubblebath for me!

    Blood Rose

On me, this starts incredibly sweet and sticky, like rose-flavoured bubblegum. Over time, it fades down to a rather lovely damp, juicy rose... but I'm not sure I can sit through the initial OMG SWEET! blast to get to the end result!

    Black Phoenix

In the imp: I AM CHERRY, BOW DOWN BEFORE ME! Black cherries in kirch, no less. I think I am becoming dizzy. Wet: Not so much cherry, phew. Still sweet, but with a spicy edge. It smells boozy. Drydown is the same as wet, except the cherries become slightly less sweet. Decadent, and I think I like the end result... but I’m not sure it’s really _me_. Maybe for special occassions...

    Black Pearl

This starts of as a rich, deep, nutty coconut... and then dries down to powder on me. I suspect the iris is the culprit here. Oh well! Smelling like coconut isn't really my thing anyway. I suspect foody/nutty fans will eat this one up, though (er, not literally)!

    Bewitched

On me, this is all supersweet berries. I don't even get a hint of greenery or musk until the end of the day, when the berries finally give up and slink away, and I never get the tea. Straight-up sweet berries are... not my thing. And I had high hopes for this one. So sad!

    Belle Époque

This is too conventionally "perfumey" for my tastes - in the imp it's a very complex, heady floral scent. I dabble a little on, dubiously... ... Aaaaand, as sandalwood scents seem to have a wont to do on me, it dries down to straight powder and soap. Nope!

    Bathsheba

In the imp, this is all rich, ripe plums and spice. Wet, there's a sudden burst of sparkling carnation that explodes over the dark fruitiness of the plum - gorgeous! Over the day, this dries down to a muskier, less bright scent, though. Gorgeous, just like the description.

    Bastet

In the imp: Strong sweet almond, with a hint of something darker underlying it Wet: Sweet almond, a hint of saffron/spice Dry: Warm and foody, with almond still predominating but balanced more by the musk and amber This is warming, without being _too_ akin to standing in a Turkish bakery. It's still probably a little too foody (almonds) for my particular tastes... I wanted to love it because, you know, Bastet and cats and all, but I have to conclude that I wouldn't wear this very often. It _is_ a perfect evocation of the goddess, though!

    Aureus

This imp leaked in transit - oh, the humanity! So I only have a tiny drop to sniff and test. From what I can tell, Aureus is straight-up, 100% amber. On me, at least. I like amber, but this is rather too much of a good thing. It's so overwhelming it goes a bit musty and rank. Maybe some other notes were more volatile, and burned off through the leaky imp... but, from this small sample, Aureus is not for me.

    Arachne

In the imp: Wet, sweet fruit. What? What about the soft, pallid florals? Wet: OMG LOTUS. Sweet, sugary bubblegum. WTF? Dry: By no stretch of the imagination can this be described as “pallid” on me. It’s all sweet, bright lotus. I am bemused. Lots of other forumites seem to have had the same experience, though. Since I don't like overly sweet scents or lotus, this is not one for me!

    Annabel Lee

In the bottle: Sweet and fresh, with a herbal edge. Wet: Cool, refreshing, and playfully sweet, but with a herbal note grounding the scent. Drydown: There’s a stage where the scent becomes rather musty as the sweet florals die down, but then the cucumber asserts itself and rescues it. Phew! A lovely fresh springtime scent. Interestingly, this is the scent that I get the most complements on when I wear it, in a "wow, you smell nice" sort of way rather than an "OMG, what is that sexy scent?" way.

    Alice

On me, Alice is all sweet, slightly powdery florals, and something else vaguely foody (I presume this is the milk). It's sweet and warm, though bergamot gives a slightly citrusy edge. Overall, too sweet and "little girl"-like for me, but I imagine that this would be lovely on the right person.
