    The Jersey Devil

After I saw the title and description, I was DYING to try this one. I'm a cryptozoology junkie, so this one was just way too exciting. Imp: Spicy pine and cedar. Very woodsy, but dry, not muddy. Wet: Christmas candle. Cheap Christmas candle, which is dissapointing. Too much cranberry. Dry down: A little less cranberry, the pine comes back finally. It's more subtle, which is good. Like everyone else has said, it'd be a lovely holiday scent, but I just don't think it works well with the subject matter. I didn't expect a Jersey Devil scent to smell so warm and christmas-y. So nice scent, but I was a bit dissapointed. Will save for X-mas.

I've wanted this one for AGES and finally got my fresh imp today! Imp: BOOZY COFFEE PUNCHING ME IN THE FACE. (In the best way possible.) The smell of rich coffee, a little whiskey and butterscotch! Dry Down: Much of the same, just less intense. The scent is basically lingering in the air, making it hard to tell what my skin smells like After awhile: The weirdest, most abrupt change I've ever had in a BPAL. The coffee is all but gone, leaving only the dusty books and dry wood. Pleasant, really. The scent is DEAD ON in the way it smells like an old library. The coffee is just barely hanging in there. Not sure if I'm totally in love with it yet. I'll have to test it for awhile.

    White Rabbit

Imp Sniff: Black tea and milk! It smells delicious and I am all but drinking it. There is also a spicyness that i assume is the pepper. Wet on Skin: More honey and milk, with the tea still hanging in there. It's mellowing out, for certain, but the smell is still warm, inviting and delicious. Dry down: I cannot stop sniffing my wrists. I'm not getting the powdery scent or much linen, but the honey, vanilla and milk are certainly present. After awhile: Pepper, tea and milk. Final verdict: I could buy a million bottles of this. My skin seems to bring out the notes that I love most in White Rabbit. Must buy a 5 Ml soon!
