I LOVE THIS SCENT. I always thought of myself as a fan of rose scented things but this just took it up so many notches. It's the perfect rose & not your 'Grandmother' rose either. I have quite a few silk roses and some of them came with little 'sponges' in the middle of them scented with 'rose'. I've taken all those out & thrown them away; THIS is how a real rose smells!

I love Red Rose. I'm finding I am a huge fan of the Lab's rose note & add cloves in to boot? So good! I was worried about the tobacco note as I don't know how it works on me yet but it really works in this one!

This was the first scent I ever put in my scent locket and it was heaven to go around smelling this all day.

This scent holds a scent memory for me that I can't quite place yet. I really think I used to wear something similar YEARS ago but I can't quite place it yet. Does this scent smell familiar to anyone else? Will come back and edit if I can figure it out.

Lovely scent, quite a bit of throw and lasting power. I am not a huge floral fan so I bought this only for it's name but I am glad that I did!

When I first was picking out scents to try I asked a few BPAL savvy friends for ideas. Every single one of them said I needed to try Dorian. But I balked. Lemon? Tea? Musks? Meh. Don't like any of those. Well, I thought I didn't; BPAL has proven me wrong multiple times already!

Anyways, I ordered an imp to try along with a few others not really expecting much. I didn't even sniff it till a few days after I got my order. As soon as I did though I immediately slathered it on my wrists and spent the rest of the evening smelling myself. Slathered it on my husband the next day and spent the rest of the evening smelling him. Dorian smelled so good on me even my pug Pearl repeatedly tried to lick my wrists! I think that speaks for itself.

On me it's a little more creamy than it is on my Husband. It stays pretty much the same as it is on me when in my scent locket. Vanilla sugar tea. NOM.

I immediately set about hunting out some aged Dorian which I thankfully found & love even more. I think this is going to be a my first bottle hoarding scent.

Well, my first review; bear with me! This was the scent description I saw on a random blog that finally made me give in to the BPAL madness after holing out for so many years. I ordered my first imps & they arrived yesterday & after struggling a bit with getting them open without spraying oil (I did not succeed. ) I decided to try this one that night.

In the bottle it smelled nummy! I really like foodie scents so was excited to try this. When I put it on though I immediately got the rose / floral scent that quite a few people commented on here. I actually had to come on here and look in the reviews because I had NO idea where the heck rose was coming from. I am not a floral person but I do like rose but it was just totally not what I was expecting.

As I put this on a little before I went to bed, it was still plainly there when I woke up the next morning until I washed it off. I was expecting to hunt down a bottle of this after I tried it but I think I will hold off a bit until maybe my nose matures a bit to the BPAL scents and see what happens then.
