    Hemlock Honey

I was another one worried about the hemlock note in this. Every honey scent i've tried has been very little honey and very much the other items mixed in. But not the case with this one. This is very sweet honey. I agree that it's a lighter, sweeter, more feminine O. I don't get medicinal but I do get something floral. Just a tinge of floral to make the honey that much more sweeter/feminine. I think this could be a bottle purchase.

    Desiccated Frostberry Pie Filling

In the bottle: this is a mix of cherry cough syrup and that fake butter smell. wet/dry: the grossness of those two scents completely disappear. I knew they would! It's a sweet, cold berry mix. I definitely don't get mint, but it is that coldness in your nose when you sniff. I bet this would be a great summer scent. Cool, fresh, fruity. I think i'd need to slather this on a bit as the throw is a little underwhelming.

Bottle and wet: Straight up chocolate Dry: the cinnamon comes out. agree with the comment about christmas. This is a chocolatey cinnamon. As it wears on, the chocolate mellows out more and takes a back seat. The throw is pretty decent. I only put one dab on my arm and I keep getting some big whiffs of it. I mean, this is straight up chocolate/cinnamon goodness. I want to eat/drink it. There's no other way for me to think to describe it.

I wasn't around to try Antique Lace so I have no comparison there. I heard this was boozy vanilla so I got an angel to get me a bottle at WCWC. This is my favorite scent by far. In the bottle, it is very much like vanilla extract. So it's got that really heavy alcohol smell with some light vanilla in the background. But when you put it on, the alcohol mellows (it's still there, though) and the strong vanilla comes out. The throw is amazing. I don't slather my oils but I've still had someone about 5 feet away tell me I smell delicious. The longevity is also amazing. This stuff sticks around! The longer you wear it, the more the sweeter vanilla comes out. Like a really high quality vanilla ice cream. So delicious. I did have someone tell me I smelled like cupcakes when wearing it. Fine by me!

    Doll's Eye Infused Honey

This is the only of the killer bee honey scents where I actually got honey. I'm a huge honey fan but they just aren't working for me. This one is a floral honey. I guess as my nose has matured i know which florals I like - rose, violet, lilac -- and if i don't know it, i don't care of it. So this was pretty generic floral to me, with some sweet mellowness of honey mixed in. I didn't get anything herbal or medicinal. and I WISH I got Lush's honey, which i adore. On one hand, i'm disappointed, but on the other, there are plenty of other bottles that I need right now. I'm not even going to bother to keep this imp.

    Jerusalem Cherry Infused Honey

I agree with everyone's first reaction that it is very much like a vegetable garden/tomato vine in the imp. But when I put it on, it turns into soap on me. Very fresh and clean, but still soap nonetheless. As it dried down (quickly) it lightened up but something more floral came out. but only for a brief time before it disappeared after 2 hours at most.

    Yew Berry Infused Honey

Another honey scent with no honey for me. This is spicy with a little green. It's got that resin-y myrh. It doesn't morph to much on me. Has a pretty strong throw and lasts a bit longer than 2 hours. Give this one a try if you are into resins.

Durian Fruit Infused Honey with Brandy

In Imp and Wet: very strong cough syrup. I know very little about how durian fruit smells so I can't say how that factors in. I do know honey and it doesn't come across Dry: on dry down, this is still all fruit. I'm not sure what fruit...maybe a peach/apple mix? Still no sign of the honey though. Doesn't last very long. Maybe 2 hours tops. Overall: if you like fruity scents, give this one a try.

I am a rose lover but this one must have flown under the radar for me. I received this as a frimp from the lab. While I remembered looking up the notes and seeing rose, when i smelled it after some wear, it was all fruit. Someone mentioned Persephone as being similar and I agree (from memory, not side by side). I can't pick out one fruit, it'sm ore like a mixture of peaches and strawberries, maybe. After I reapplied to type this, the rose is strong at first. So it takes a few minutes before the fruitiness comes out. This smells very pretty. I will keep the imp and wouldn't turn away a bottle, but i'm also not going to seek it out. it doesn't blow me away.

    Magus

Got frimped this as it wouldn't normally appeal to me. Upon reading the notes, I would expect something pretty strong smelling, maybe because frankincense and sandalwood always overpower me. But this isn't the case here. It's pretty light and that lightness actually makes me feel like it's a feminine scent. It's very fresh, almost like a clean linen scent that's been hung dry. I think that's so weird considering the notes, but that's what I get. It's more like a fresh clothing scent than something to wear as a perfume.

    The Red Queen

On wet: strong cherry cough medicine On dry down: Very light wood, like a pencil Very, VERY light and i'm talking about 45 seconds later. I'm questioning the spot where I put it on that I can barely smell it. If this doesn't disappear on you, you might get a nice woody cherry smell.

This one didn't really strike me as something I would normally try, but it was unique enough that I thought I would see what happens. Upon first smell without revisiting the notes, I smelled leather and stone. It reminded me of Inganok Jewelers or Oblisbos. Like their love child but a little less strong. I couldn't really tolerate either of them, but this one I can. I don't actually like it, but it is tolerable. As I wear it longer, I think the wood comes out more. It gets a bit more sweet. I still think this is more of a masculine scent. Or if you like more patchouli/herbal scents, you might like this.

    White Rabbit

Strong black tea and milk with white pepper, ginger, honey and vanilla, spilled over the crisp scent of clean linen. It seems as though teas just don't work well on me, though I love the smell of them in real life. I felt like this was very similar to Teatime at Roswell, which I tried before trying this one. Something goes sour. I never understood when people said that, but you just know when it does. I would say the strongest note is the milk but I also get the tea and that Teatime biscuit smell. Not much honey or vanilla for me.

    Teatime in Roswell

I am waffling on this scent. When I tried it the other day, i didn't like it. I mean, I liked it enough, but something about it rubbed me the wrong way. It definitely smells like some kind of cakey biscuit. It's not sweet. Maybe it's like an Earl Grey biscuit. But then the cucumber comes out. You know what, I think i just solved the puzzle. It's like an old Victoria's Secret lotion that was fresh cucumber or something like that. I used to like that but now my preferences have changed. Maybe that's why this one confuses me....because i used to like it. Hm....i'll definitely keep the imp. It's seeming like i don't need a bottle.

    Menacing Ionospheric Research Instrument

The white amber and violet drew me in, but the most prominent scent on first application (and in the bottle) is the mint. Very fresh, very bright, very minty! it's so strong i feel like i'm chewing gum. After a while, it turns into a generic floral perfume -- kinda strong. I can't figure out what flower it smells like to me, but it's not violet. Maybe the neroli. After a few hours, it's very light. Almost like I used it as a bath oil last night. I could see this being a good sleep scent or for meditation. Not for me for my daily perfume.

    Skytyping with Chemtrails

Didn't like the way it smelled in the bottle so was a little disappointed. I love sugar scents. But of course I skin test. At first, i get the lemon pledge that some folks talk about. But that doesn't last too long for me. it dies down to a faint lemony sugar smell....i'm not big on lemon, but the sugar is strong enough here for me to like this. As time goes on, it gets sweeter and sweeter. like you are adding more and more sugar to your lemonade. score! I was kinda hoping the lemon wouldn't come through at all, but this is good enough for me. I bought a bottle!

    Staged Moon Landing

I am having some seriously good luck with the helicopters I ordered. This one is no exception. Definitely going to be a bottle purchase and I don't take bottle purchases lightly. This is how I imagine Antique Lace to smell, though i've only read reviews. To me, this goes on minty. Shiny, but not really metallic. I don't like mint, but there was something intriguing about it. Maybe because I got some vanilla in the background. Still, I kept sniffing. Later, the mintiness I get dies down and it turns to dusty vanilla. This isn't the heavy handed dust in Miskatonic University, which turned me off to that scent despite liking the non-dust parts of it. This is a delicate dust, that makes this scent more mysterious. I did not get muguet or sandalwood out of this -- which are the only notes that I really know well enough to comment on. The end result continues to be the dusty vanilla. Throw is average. Good enough for me to smell it without having to seek it out. Lasting power was also average. A few hours before needing to reapply (though I may have reapplied earlier than necessary just to smell it again).

    Traipsing through the Crop Circles

Pretty sure this is going to be a bottle purchase. I try to limit those to keep my collection manageable, but this is one that I can't stop sniffing. It was a major suprise for me, being a foodie/fruity/sweet scent person. There is something sweet here. Sweet and fresh but not like Febreeze or Sky City Before.. Not what I was expecting. I thought there would be more of a corn smell but i don't really get that. I was also thinking it might be like Scarecrow, which I like but wouldn't wear. It's not like that at all to me. I wish I could offer a better review but i can't place the notes. Even reading the other reviews doesn't jog anything for me. My general reco would be if you like sweet smelling scents, give this a try and you might be as suprised as I was.

    Sky City (Before)

I tested/reviewed this very quickly at the Challengers event and put a bunch of circles around the note "fresh air." To me, this smelled like Febreeze. Very fresh, very clean and bright. Not something I'd wear as a perfume but would be a wonderful atmosphere blend.

I was hoping for something really sexy for a man. More cologne and hair gel and less soap. I tried this on my husband and there was no cologne to it at all. It was just straight soap. Like she said above, classic Dove soap. I don't consider this very manly so I was more than a little disappointed. Husband didn't like it either so we had to pass.

Very sweet, strong honeysuckle. I think I can get hints of the rose which almost adds to the really fragrant honeysuckle, making that even stronger. It's a very strong scent. I felt like the throw was strong but I can't be sure. It was almost too strong for me. I'd imagine this would be a dream for a honeysuckle fan. I would have considered myself one of them but it's just too pungent for me.

I'm coming to realize that I must amp wine notes and on me they turn into very fragrant concord grapes. So this is a very fruity scent to me. No other notes come out...no rose, no myrrh or musk. I like the smell i just don't know if it's good as a perfume. I imagine i might seek this out to wear once in a while though. The throw is not very strong. This is a scent really close to you. And it doesn't last very long. I have reapplied at least 4 times throughout the workday.

    Snake Charmer

Snake oil in the imp, but once it's on that disappears and the musk comes out like WHOA. Be careful about slathering with this one. It started to hurt my nose a bit, but i still loved the scent. Much more Mme. Moriarty than snake oil. I think I must amp musks. This is all spicy and musk. Very sexy. I did not get any coconut or plum at all. Since this is hard to find, the madame will serve my needs just fine.

    The Grindhouse

Ok, the truth is that I loved the idea of this scent so that's why I wanted to try it. But I'll also try almost anything with vanilla bean in it. Since I don't think of musk as a thing that exists (like a flower or a food), it's hard for me to know if what i'm smelling is musk or a mixture of things. But this is very familiar to Mme. Moriarty to me -- so that must be the red musk. There is something a bit more sweet to this. If i had to look at the notes and guess, it'd be the magnolia. definitely something floral. I don't get vanilla from this one. The other reason i'd like Moriarty over this madam, she lasts longer. This one is pretty strong going on with a good throw, but it starts to fade fast. I'm still giving it a 4/5.

I'm not sure about this one. First of all, it does not smell good to me in the imp or when i first put it on. it kinda smells like a popcorn flavored jelly bean. Sweet, but there's something artificial and savory underneath. It takes a while for that to go away, but I would understand if you had to wash it off. It's a little gag-inducing. I know my husband would hate it. BUT, if you hold out, you will get a nice milk and honey blend. I think it's especially nice a few hours later...where of course it will be more delicate, but healthy enough to get a frequent whiff. The problem now is determining if the wait is worth it. Right now i'm leaning towards no.
