Wow, I was really surprised at how this smells. To me, it smells like a woman of the 50's. A era where ladies still lunched and wore wrist length white gloves. This is something I picture coming from a fancy atomizer crystal bottle. Very soft and old fashioned. At first sniff the rose really stood out to me. That is the most potent scent to me. Upon application I still have the rose as a dominant but I can definitely smell the myrrh and lily in the background. This scent is nice because the smell last without being too overwhelming. I'm really enjoying this ladylike scent. So far with the BPAL scents I have tried they smell on my exactly like they do in the bottle (no turning, knock on wood!) and this one is the same. Lovely, especially for someone who wants a old fashion classic floral scent with a hint of something mysterious.

Completely agree on the butterscotch note here, I also get a hint of banana? Could that be the tropical rum peeking through? This is very pungent in the bottle, almost headache inducing but I put this on and sadly my skin ate it up in 10 minutes time. I expected it to last really long due to the fact that it was insanely strong in the bottle but it didn't. I DID just get out of the shower though, so that could be the problem. For the whole ten minutes I could smell it I also caught some coconut in there for a second....very sweet scent, I think it could be nice if it lasted slightly longer...

Hey ladies! This is my first BPAL scent I ever tried, and I don't have an experienced nose so bear with me. When I first opened the bottle it smelt to me like caramelized sugar or maybe the top of a creme brulee? Anyways, it is a very strong burnt sugar note. (Not offensive though! lol) :wub2:When I put it on and it was still wet it smelled heavily of burnt sugar almost unbearably so. After about an hour or so it dried down to a sweet brown sugar scent that is sweet but rich at the same time. Once this settles on me I really do love it. The longer it wears the more I like it! It wears on me really well, I have been wearing it for about 6 hours now and I can still smell it! I am very happy with this scent and if this is what I can expect from my other BPAL scents, I will be a very happy girl!
