  1. straight sniff from the imp is sweet hay and apples...yum!!

once applied the sweetness fades fast and carrorts, oats and wood become apparent....

this scent is surprisingly light to me and the musk balances this out nicely...

    a unique and unusual scent...

  2. straight sniff from imp is veeeeeeery similar to milk moon which i love :P

once applied lily of the valley comes forefront and i get a touch of beeswax...

this has a short wearlength with my chemistry...pretty but i think i can pass

on a big bottle and let others show the love ...

  3. straight sniff from imp is moldy but in the best way possible...huh???

actually you know when you shuck fresh corn and one of the kernels gets pierced??

well, it is really that scent!!

once applied this gets amazingly sweet...to me this is fresh, sweet, just picked corn....

and i am in l-o-v-e....this will be a bottle purchase for sure and now i know what

the fuss was all about for this phenomenal perfume =-))

  4. straight sniff from imp is hay and grain and lots of punkin with lemon...

there is something in this blend that reminds me distinctly of bad luck woman blues...

problee the caramel...this is powerful stuff and i am thrilled that i was able to

try this out...i never really get anything metallic from this but, meh...you know

    how chemistry is ...hehe...

  5. ZomG...straight sniff from bottle is dark, herbaceous fruit....

once applied this has fantabulous sillage and is so well balanced...the fennel is marvelous

and i am beyond thrilled i picked up 2 bottles of the beauty...i can only imagine

    how this will age...p-e-r-f-e-c-t!!

  6. whoa!!!...the boozey ones for sure this time around...

910=buttery pound cake soaked in rum and drizzled with caramel icing

    798=lemon meringe (sp?) pie

941=strawberry shortcake with freshly whipped cream

885=gummy bears soaked in bourbon and made into jello shots

890= cherry chocolate martini made with the best gin ever

    866=limoncello

    one odd floral...

884=..seems like blue bonnet...i dunno...interesting....not too overpowering and

    sort of light and fresh....

how much fun is this?!?! :P

  7. straight sniff from bottle is ripe, juicy macintosh apples...

once applied this has the best apple aroma ever...after a short while there

is something almost icy but not in an aquatic or ozone kind of a way...

it is hard to describe...almost a floral icy edge...

gorgeous but i just wish it lasted longer...i will definitely have to be wearing this

one in my scent locket to get more wearable smelliness :P

  8. cc now question...

if you click on the order status and it says it has shipped,

    has it "physcially" been shipped?

IIRC there was a thread somewhere that said something about

    that not being the case...anyone?

No, absolutely not. 'Shipped' means the lab had got the details of your order from CCNow. Your order will not have been posted from the lab until you receive a click and ship from USPS.

aha!! thanks for the clarification =D

  9. I went with 3 bottles and they all ended up really different. It was a blast!

    CDXXXI (431)

Wet on Skin: Boozy. Lots of Booze.

Drydown: Pink Grapefruit, sharp and tangy pink grapefruit. Wet though, as if you had just sliced into it and the juice is on your fingers. The booze has faded into the background for now.

Dry: The booze is back and it's gin (arg!). Pink Grapefuit and Gin. This could have been in the tiki lounge, it smells so similar.

    CDLXXXVI (486)

Wet on Skin: Ooh, woody. It is similar to Tombstone, I get wiffs of cedar over something creamy.

Drydown: A sweetness, cream and fruit? Nope. Milk and fruit. Strawberry maybe?

Dry: Warm wood, like the smell of a woodpile at camp after it has sat in the sun all day. Hints of the milk and fruit remain in the background.

    CDLXXII (472)

    This one was a morpher.

Wet on Skin: Creamy fruit with flashes of mint?

Drydown: A complete but fabulous change. It's that sweet aquatic I get from Selkie, the fruit and mint have gone leaving sweet watery fun. Awesome.

Dry: Crap! Something in here went soapy on me. Now all I get is soap soap soap.

Stupid skin. These would all smell awesome on someone other than me. Now it's time for another round!

ok so Robin and i swapped and i got these three which i shall review here...i like to leave her impressions as these are just so

    interesting!!!

    CDLXXXVI (486)

straight sniff from bottle is chocolate and vetiver....

once applied licorice/anise dance around with the chocolate...

then a fruity edge appears...with creaminess...and some nuttiness...

a serious morpher this is just marvelous...after 30 plus minutes i am

left with a resinous fruity blend...amazing!!!

    CDXXXI (431)

straight sniff from bottle is a thick citrus and nilla wafer cookies...

once applied lots of buttery cookies and grapefruit...imagine!!

    this is sooooooooo grand...

    CDLXXII (472)

straight sniff from bottle is sharp cream...

once applied i get a jasmine note...some vanilla...

    maybe some pine...watery...quite interesting

  10. slightly OT but did anyone receive the new YC brochure???

    omG~~

the halloweenie scents are too yummy ....a patchouli one to die for and a couple other foody ones...

they have quirky names too but i don't have them in front of me right now...

and the most adorable tart burners and...so festive =-))

  11. CDLXXXIV (484)

creamy lemon with a refreshing watery note that is similar to a babbling brook

    DIII (503)

a light caramel with some raisin and plum thrown in for good measure

    DXIV (514)

    fruity jasmine and honey

    DXXXIII (533)

quite possibly the most astonishingly gorgeous maraschino cherry note i have ever experienced!

    DLVIII (558)

post fruity pebbles including that cereal-grainy note with ice cold milk

    DLXIV (564)

honeyed vanilla with thick ripe fig notes

    DCIII (603)

mulling spices, blood orange, green pepper, resinous, cakey

i have to admit these are beth's most stunning creations when it comes to the CT series to date...

the throw for all ~ more than outstanding

if you are on the fence about ordering, just do it...i am sure you will be pleasantly surprised!!

  12. first off, let me say how this truly keeps me grounded...it is a miracle...

the scent...well, it is nothing short of divine!! the patchouli and myrrh and heaven scent =-)

the clary sage and oakmoss add the perfect depth...i could not be happier with this

    non-greasy, completely absorbing massage oil...
