    straight sniff from imp is very similar to glowing vulva...hrmmm...

     

    once applied this is fantastical!! i must agree with other reviewers as this is not as thick

    as GV (amen!) and the polished wood and tobacco notes are truly astonishing...

    great sillage as well...this is near and dear to my heart!!

     

    now to find a big bottle :P

     

    2 for 2 winners with the phonenix steamworks & research lab for this gal...yay!!

    straight sniff from imp is slightly minty and a fruity floral...subdued and elegant~

     

    once applied the mint in this is the best the lab has created to date!! the throw is excellent and every note

    is combined perfectly...the lotus, ginger and orchid are amazing...i am thrilled to pieces that this is a GC

    blend and you bet i will be scoring a big bottle of this outstanding perfume!!! :P

    THE EAST

    But there were times when the wind blew from beyond the wall, bringing with it the smell of mint and thyme and redcurrants, and at those times there were strange colors seen in the flames in the fireplaces in the village.

     

    The scent of the winds beyond the wall: bluebonnet, passion flower, freesia, jasmine tea, mint, thyme, and redcurrant.

     

    straight sniff from bottle is a touch of thyme and mint...

     

    once applied this is a bountiful bouquet with the most elegant, rounded edges of floral and tea...a touch

    of fruit...this is a scent to be worn by a true lady, in every sense of the term...tea and crumpets to

    be served....women with big bonnets that tie at the chin...almost fainting with their corsets laced much

    too tightly...men whispering on the side, behind large oak trees, wondering

    if they will get to court the woman they desire...if i can envision this, so can you...phenomenal...:P

    straight sniff from imp is quite herbaceous...cilantro...delightful!!

     

    once applied a hint of rose and lemon...a drop of floral...this is too, too pretty...nice sillage...

     

    i really love my imp but not yet sure if i need a big bottle...love the concept tho!!!

    straight sniff from the imp is fresh, moist, mossy earth right next to one of

    my favorite babbling brooks as a child...

     

    my goodness....the best earthy scent beth has created to date...this is pure, brown,

    rich dirt to me and

    never ventures from this stage...the throw is pretty magnifi"scent" for me as well...

    another big bottle purchase that i had to have!!! yay!!!

    straight sniff from bottle is veeeeeeeery similar to the cologne

    known as 4711....neroli and orange dominate the first sniff from

    this exquisitely well-aged bottle....

     

    once applied cedarwood and resins dance about with the the orange

    and neroli...a very smoky quality...huge throw and hippie-ish....a touch

    of bitterness...this is truly unique and i am swooning over this scent!!

     

    if you have not tried masquerade and wish to throw caution to the wind,

    give it a whirl...it's just that amazing :P

    straight sniff from bottle there is a component in here that reminds me milk moon 2007...

    sort of a sweetened condensed milk combined with fir and forest herbs...

     

    once applied....WOW :P !!

    do i ever love this one....piney and definitely warmed by amber with a bit of smoky depth....

     

    long wear length and remains beautiful all day long...i l-o-v-e this to bits and it

    works perfectly with my german heritage/chemistry.... :D

    straight sniff from imp is sweet, minty herbs...a delight!

     

    once applied it becomes rosy incense with a touch of jasmine in the best way

    possible...excellent sillage...after awhile this gets more herbaceous, incensey, floral...

     

    absolutely soooo gorgeous that i scored a big bottle ... beautiful!!!

    straight sniff from imp is that fav coconut note in my beloved red lantern...yum!!

    adding to that, it is swirled with captain morgan ... :D

     

    once applied this is a delicious tropical cocktail... the buttery coconut

    and spiciness it is a complete winner for me...the fact that it never turns

    funky or playdough is a plus...i could just drink me up :P

    straight sniff from imp is gardenia and vanilla orchid...heavenly :P

     

    once applied gardenia and incense are just beautiful together...a touch of sandalwood is

    quite possibly in here or something similar...very lovely, indeed

    straight sniff from imp is lots of seaweed combined with a lovely floral...

     

    once applied i am in complete awe...this is a true beauty and probably the

    most exquisite creation of a beach scent that beth has to date...very sophisticated; feminine

    with lots of throw this was a big bottle purchase for me and i am pleased

    as punch to say this will be my perfect summertime scent...

    straight sniff from imp is an elegant vanilla; slightly floral...

    once applied this is very disappointing :P

    it turns into straight play-dough...to prove it was not just

    me, i asked the boy what he smelled...he sniffed and immediately

    came up with "playdoughy 'nilla wafer"...off to the swap pile she goes....

    Dominance and submission: warm leather, sweat-damp musk, and merlot.

     

    Oh yesssssssss!!
    This is my fav of the bunch...so utterly sexy!!
    The leather note in this is beyond perfection...just enough...the musk and merlot add to
    this winning spray in the best way possible...a great aroma for the play room and enough
    to make sparks fly...oh yeah!!

    Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next. First, she tried to look down and make out what she was coming to, but it was too dark to see anything; then she looked at the sides of the well, and noticed that they were filled with cupboards and book-shelves; here and there she saw maps and pictures hung upon pegs. She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed; it was labelled `ORANGE MARMALADE', but to her great disappointment it was empty: she did not like to drop the jar for fear of killing somebody, so managed to put it into one of the cupboards as she fell past it.

    Daisies and dirt with a hint of orange marmalade, dry leaves, and crunchy old sticks.

    This beauty is superbly earthy...yet the touch of marmalade sweetens this up nicely; then the dried
    leaves whirl about...

    Very long lasting. A masterpiece in the making :D

    Do you adore Rose Red from the Lab?

     

    This is a not so distant cousin...amazingly fresh, bright, beautiful red roses blooming in June over

    a freshly mowed lawn...I love this ...if you want something that smells completely

    natural, this beauty is for you...

     

    Extremely long lasting and powerful...I am thrilled with this.

    straight sniff from the imp is the most elegant floral with a touch of sandalwood...

     

    once applied this is such a delight!! the flower notes in this are just superb and

    blended to perfection with just a hint of sandalwood!! l-o-v-e!

    this is my favorite floral from the luau bunch and as luck may have it, i was

    able to score a big bottle!! yay!! :P :D
