straight sniff from bottle is jasmine and honeysuckle...

 

once applied loads of jasmine yet it gets tempered by the musk...quite pretty indeed

 

after awhile this gets a bit greener...a great perfume

straight sniff from bottle is soft, sweet, ripe peach with vanilla and neroli...yum!

 

once applied loads of honey comes forefront with the faintest breath of patchouli and cocoa...

the peach still present is really lovely...

 

this is scrumptious and beautiful and i do adore it

straight sniff from bottle is peanut buttery, sweet incense....

 

once applied, the myrrh in this is fantastic...the best the lab has to date...with the

amber and vanilla i am in olfactory heaven ...remains very

incense like...amber is to D-I-E for should you be keen on that note...

 

this has great throw and i am in complete awe of the complexity, love and artistic

impression that went into the creation...love absolute!!

FWIW steven tyler loved my combo of dragon's milk and venus =-)

i was so afeared when i applied this one...

 

pure, hayoooge perfume...but i do love it...

the notes that accompany this are very unexpected...

this is one that needs a try or two or three!

 

loads of incense and florals come thru and this is a true beauty...

once applied this gets hayoogely perfumey...like a woman marinating in a vat of essence...

hmmm...

while i loved how it smelled from the bottle i cannot say i feel the same about the after affects...

 

i think this needs lots of aging to get it just to where it is right for me

once applied this remains tried and true...so beautiful...

 

this has terrific throw and undeniable sweetness...

once applied i get loads of anise with the deeper, darker notes ... thick, complex and pure love...

once applied a touch of leather adds a unique edginess that is beth's exclusively...truly amazing...

once applied the honey amps up nicely combined with pine, vanilla and tobacco...

 

the patchouli adds the perfect touch and

that this is nothing short of astonishing!

wow! applied this morphs into something so amazing to the schnoz!!

 

firstly very incensey with a touch of musk and spice...OMG...

it calms down to the most arousing scent and i am seriously in love with

this blend...rum and tobacco arise in all their glory

 

and girls, don't let this perfume fool you into thinking it is a purely manly/man blend...

it just ain't so...

straight sniff from bottle is cool, green tea with a twist of metal in the best way possible...

 

once applied this is a true beauty and has some of the similar notes as my

beloved hungry ghost moon

...the vanilla musk and touch of gardenia mingle perfectly...

absolutely incredible sillage this is such a beauty i will wear it lovingly and often...

personally, i am more concerned when receiving oils in the coldest of winter sub-zero

months simply because of possible glass bottles cracking/breaking...

 

i think the oil is hearty enuff to handle the extreme temp issues in my humble opinion =)

Not sure where to post this, but I'm dying to know if the Lab ever made 30ml bottles?.. There's one up for auction on Ebay and I've never heard of it before, so don't want to bid really if it's not genuine.

IIRC, beth had put some bottles up for auction on ebay awhile ago that were larger sizes with

a small amount of oil...she was cleaning house...perhaps this was a bottle someone won and now

they are auctioning it off....

once applied smoke and ash and something very sweet...wow...

i love the concept....adore the scent

once applied this gets insanely sweet on me...hmmm...

 

after awhile the bite of vetiver is wonderful....quite subtle...

this remains mostly aquatic with an edge of darkness...

 

this is quite interesting and i will hang onto my imp and give it a whirl a few times

more before i make a decision on whether or not to purchase a big bottle...

straight sniff from imp is dragon's blood resin, herbal and mint yet very deep and dark...

 

once applied this is sooooo incredible! the mint, sage and lavender harmonize exquisitely

with the resinous notes...i swear this one was meant for me...i need several big bottles of

this amazingly gorgeous blend...

once applied the red musk and cinnamon play beautifully with the resins and peppery notes...

 

ironically, this reminds me of an YSL perfume i used to have ages ago called champagne...

 

this is positively amazing ... the dragon's blood resin is the best ever!! a big bottle is what i need!!

once applied herbal goodness combined with the

twinge of ashiness, apples and dried leaves is truly a unique combo!!

 

good sillage too...this is a true work of art and worthy of a big bottle purchase for me

once applied this is *strong* ... gardenia comes forefront...this is a very warm scent IMHO...

 

after awhile a bit of honey and spicy geranium make this a very complex perfume...

 

unfortunately, these notes just don't seem to be for me...i am very glad to have tried it in any case....

straight sniff from imp is a fresh, lush, green wildflower meadow...gorgeousness!

once applied i sense dandelions and tulips as well...this remains beautiful on the skin ....

do not let the name of this scent have you thinking this scent is loaded with jasmine...in fact,
i only get the slightest whisper, if really any at all...

if you like superbly green/floral scents, this beauty is for you...

once applied this truly is *fresh springtime breeze* with a hint of sweetgrass...quite pretty...

and soapy for certain...

this has a short wearlength but lovely nonetheless...so glad i tried =-)

once applied this remains rather woody with my chemistry and after awhile the amber and leather

poke through...the berry note makes this all come together in a very well balanced and interesting blend...

once applied a strong vetiver note remains but i do sense the crinkled paper and leather...
