the honey, rose and milk really stand out in this perfume and i feel
very fortunate that they all work beautifully with my chemistry
this is a very comforting and beautiful scent and most definitely
warrants a big bottle purchase......just gorgeous....reminiscent of
a springtime tea party in a field full of daisies and daffodils......amazing!!
-
this is a beautifully light and floral blend on me...
quite pretty, indeed.....i can definitely smell the sweet pea and
just a hint of the sage.....turns into more of a green floral after
a few minutes......has some component that is quite reminiscent of
auntie caroline's joy mojo...fades much too quickly on me but i
do like this......
-
slightly minty and wormwoody.....initially after application i get a distinct
whiff of an extremely clean laundry detergent or soap scent but this dissipates
quickly and then i am left with a spicy and sweet blend.....quite lovely....
i would think this might work wonderfully in the summertime months for me
so i will try this one again in the warmer months..........unique at the very least.....
-
i had visions of grandeur for this version as 2004 was most definitely not for me....
wet in the bottle it is an apple/cinnamon/berry/pumpkiny treat......upon application
the scent morphs into an apple muffin....or something....
a doughy component pops up....and then a slight floral note.....
it seems to last forever on.....
unfortunately for me, this is not something that works......

while i adore how this smells in the bottle of autumn florals and something woodsy
once it hits my skin it is complete chaos
immediately it turned almost rubbery and sour....a bit medicinal....what a shame...
for the grand finale i get all bandaid....chemistry can be so kooky
-
i had such high hopes for darkness....
straight from the imp is is very dark as the name implies but dark florals...
the myrrh in this one never even comes out .... just thick, languid florals
that don't work well with my chemistry....
after awhile, this reminds me of something my gramma used to wear but
i can't quite pinpoint which fragrance it was.....
off this baby imp goes as a frimp to a lovely swapper

i would highly recommend hemlock and nuclear winter ........
hemlock is just phenomenal
and
nuclear winter has an icy edge with pine.....
trust me....it will knock your sox off
-
minty and sweet with green undertones....this is such a beautiful scent
after awhile i get a touch of hemlock....it mixes beautifully with the icy cold mintiness of
this blend....gorgeous and long lasting i am so glad i was able to score a bottle of
this from a lovely forumite .....
and the label is such fun too!!!!

anybody know of a similar bpal blend or blend(s)???
i know beth has a ton of gorgeous rose scents but what about straight up patchouli
to mix with ??
besides fritz' exclusive batch of patchouli
which was just that.....patchouli and rose is fucking amazing........
-
thanks to all of your input, i finally came up with my very own dupe using
1 drop snake charmer, 1 drop dana o'shee, 1/2 drop of the red queen!!!!!
amazing!!!!!!
i couldn't have done it without you guys....

i was fortunate enough to receive an imp of this and i will be using it next time
i sleep to see what might happen
in the meantime i tried the teensiest bit on my wrist and it reminds me very vividly
of when my mother used to burn citronella candles.....this is extremely strong ....
when it dries down it is the same smell as the citronella candle without burning....
that waxy citronella scent.....brings back very fond memories for me....
-
fresh lovely peony
oh this is just gorgeous......
after awhile a rooty essence comes through that
makes this blend fantastically delicious!!!
love this a lot.....
-
how about Dana O'Shee, Snake Oil and the slightest dab of Aureus. Aureus to provide that touch of wood that's otherwise missing and tone down the sweetness just a notch.well i have imps of dana and snake oil...so all i need now is an imp of aureus to see if
i could make it......
hmmmm....i wonder if a dab of
hunger might work as well..........
-
wet in vial...mustard, lettuce and capers...ohmy!!!
upon application it is still the same way.....how odd....
after 5 minutes it warms up .... i do get the sandalwood
and ylang ylang but i just can't knock that weird capery
kind of note....just not my cup of tea....
-
dusty fruit....hmmm...it must be the honey in this blend.....quite sweet....
kind of pretty.....after about 30 minutes this fragrance warms up...the orange
and sandalwood are coming out and this is one lovely....the honey comes
back out and makes this quite intriguing.....i like it a lot
-
wow......i get total and complete florals out of this one....strong as well.....none of the
incense ever comes through at all.....just lots of florals that i have a hard time distinguishing...
but it is kind of pretty......intense though.....and interesting.....
-
minty to start but i do get the ambergris in this as well...maybe some
herbally goodness....this doesn't last too long on me but it
is a very interesting scent indeed....
-
-
beautiful almondy and rosey blend this is an outstanding creation...after
a few minutes ....hmmm....something green and a bit soapy....nonetheless
this is a lovely scent with my chemistry and i may need a big bottle of
this for just such romantical encounters....
-
-
initial application....dark, wet, patchouli with some cardamom....interesting.......
you really need to let this one morph with your chemistry...after 30 minutes
the spiciness is really amped up...i get just a twinge of the gardenia but it is
not floral as you would expect; a definite earthiness makes this fantastic
.....another stunning creation created by
Beth.......
-
straight up from the bottle this is a sweet orangey
dreamsicle....after 10 minutes the amber, gardenia, vanilla and
roses pop out and mix with the orange making it much more
subtle...this is an absolutely gorgeous blend and i am thrilled
to pieces i got a big bottle...very strong and i only need a few
drops of this preciousss to smell positively divine for hours...
thank you Beth
-
first whiff from bottle....wicked buttery corn....silly indeed
ok...when i just dab it from the cap on my wrist this morphs into a gigantic
scent of cinnamon and hazelnut....this is every bit as strong (if not
stronger) than gluttony so gluttony fans will love this .....woot,woot!!
ok, this is really an amazing and completely different scent than
anything i have really ever experienced from the lab.......
i think i am in love and feel so fortunate that i was able to "know" i
needed a bottle of this......niiiiiiiiice.....

cinnamon and linseed oil.....both equally as strong with my chemistry.....
the linseed seems to have a twang of a bitter edge....after a few minutes
these 2 scents seemingly meld into each other to perform a beautiful
and outstanding union....this will be a perfect blend for dancing in the sheets.....
