  1. Ohh, wow. In the imp, this is all plum and amaretto and the wine and blackcurrant lurking underneath. It's a definite kissing cousin to the Countess, and really drop dead sexy. On my skin, luscious, sexy plum and amaretto. Oh god, not even dry, and this is going straight to a second skin test, possibly a bottle tacked on with my next order.

  2. Ordered this as an imp pack with a Joyful Moon group order, accidentally got omitted, and now it is here with me in Japan.

In the imp, this smells interesting; ambergris and white musk and I think the violet first and foremost. On my skin, ambergris and white musk first and foremost, a touch sharp, but it seems to be mellowing out. We'll see what this girl does. Turns a touch soapy, but I was wearing The Sea Foams Milk a few hours before this, so that may have influenced it a touch. Second skin test to see if I get different results.

  3. Ginger blossom and vanilla orchid.

In the imp, this is mostly vanilla orchid and mebbe some ginger in there somewhere. On my skin, this lovely, creamy vanilla floral with just a hit of kick from the ginger flower. Mmmm. May be the only hit of the night thus far.

  4. In the bottle, I'm getting a candied fruit musk with a touch of what I think is ozone. On my skin, this is ozone and candied fruit lurking underneath. Hrm. We'll see where this goes. I'm just really not sure about this scent, going to set it aside until after I'm back from Japan and see if my opinions change at all.

  5. In the bottle, I'm getting the olive blossom, the chamomile, the magnolia, and I think a hint of the smoke. On my skin, chamomile, olive blossom, and just a hint of sharpness form the frankincense and gunpowder, but not overwhelming. Get a pretty even balance of soft florals and smoke, going to give this a further skin test to see what it does.

  6. In the bottle, this is a very gentle, musky floral. On my skin, this smells exactly like a moonlit garden - the musks are the moonlight, and the flowers, obviously, are the garden, gentle, not too sharp. Ends up being a pretty nice floral, a touch too sharp, but we'll see what it decides to do on the full skin test.

  7. In the imp, I'm definitely getting the huckleberry and red currant. On my skin, huckleberry and red currant, really nice. Neroli ends up coming in and making it watery, fades to a faint huckleberry far too quickly. Not quite for me.

  8. I still can't believe that I'm actually able to try this. HUGE thanks to talula_faire for passing on her tester!

In the imp, this is chemically leather. ...Maybe I have a chance at avoiding a BPALicorn! On my skin... oh. shit. This is not the chemically leather. This is the leather that is beyond amazing on me. Fuuuuuu -

Yeah. Amazing leather, similar to that in Perversion, but without the wine note; instead, it's bourbon and cardamom supporting. Damnit. This may become a leather holy grail.

    RESURRECTION PLEASE.

  9. Oh. My. God.

Ended up being the first and only bidder on this for an eBay auction, got it without having sniffed it.

This. Is. Gorgeous. Smells like wonderful baking fruity pastries, just this wonderful warm comforting scent that I just want to roll around in until further notice. Definitely going with me to Japan, quickly shooting into my top 10, and may need to start looking for a backup of this.

(Also, sirensea, you can bathe in it, just smother your sheets in it and roll around in 'em for a bit. Works like a charm.)

  10. In the imp, I'm getting vanilla, pear, and what I think is the sandalwood and heliotrope. Really delicious. On my skin, an absolutely stunning vanilla/pear/sandalwood/heliotrope. Horray for blind bottle purchases based on gut instincts! Will probably go onto a second skin test.

...This scent seemed familiar to me, and I know why. This is similar to one of the Chaos Theories I got this year, vanilla and water lily. There's a definite vanilla/lily thing going on here that's made more awesome by the pear and the heliotrope/sandalwood, me thinks. Not an exact clone of the Chaos, but, WOW, like, my Chaos, but a bazillion times better.

Anyways. Second skin test sometime soonish. :P
