My first big purchase from the wonderful people at bpal was the scent Bastet. When i first smelled it i couldnt believe how warm and inviting it was. It smelled safe and nice...like a good hug. That got me thinking, what other scents smell like hugs? Or kisses Or just really give you big emotions? I know everyone is diffrent so i guess im more curious than anything

Before this scent i never thought i was a floral girl....NOW i am a changed woman lol

in the vial: My inital impression was wow! thats a whole lot of ROSE! i dont know how this is going to work on my skin...but its a freebie so lets try it.

Wet: interesting, it didnt go soapy or plasticy. Just rose with something extra.

Dry: OK i figured it out. It smells like taking a bunch of roses and squishing them into wet grass. OMG its so lovely. Its floral and wet and just WONDERFUL. i think i may need a bigger bottle of this one. I cant wait to try other florals too.

This is such a wonderful blend!

Wet: well it was a bit strong. A dark sweet wine

Dried: Now we are talking. The tobacco mellows it out. The throw is perfect for me (i tend to like scents that stick closer to the skin mind you) I just love how it all came together. A womanly scent...a raven haired woman in a dark purple dress drinking red wine, to be exact.

I ordered a whole bunch of imps but the one i was really really wanting to try with all my wittle heart was snake oil. i quickly dabbed it on and much to my dismay it...well...went weird. At first it was kinda nutty and incensy at the same time....then straight to BABY POWDER! I am super sad that this doesnt agree with my skin. But then again i can wear BAD LUCK WOMAN which smells like a face full of black pepper to everyone else. guess im just a wierdo lol

I think my skin is picky. Usually things with Jasmine work lovely on me but this was bad news. It was far far too strong and gave me a migrane. Sad day

In bottle: this is a bit strong. maybe sophisticated even?

Wet on skin: Well this isnt too bad. its pretty floral and i like florals =)

Dry: OH DEAR GOD! I think the Ginger just gave me the finger. I had to wash this one off. It started giving me a head ach. such a BUMMER!!!

When i first saw this scent i bought an imp without even reading the descript because that part always made me laugh. But my impulsive buying paid off this scent is soo clean on me!

Wet: very fresh, maybe thats the melon calling to me.

Dried: Very nice the melon and the mint pop on me causing it to be a very clean simple scent. Like getting out of the shower with freshly shampooed hair. Its a very nice casual scent I think i may be getting a bigger bottle of this soon. <3

In the bottle: a very tart apple. A sour green one but those are my favorite.

Wet on the skin: A vert tangy apple. It almost reminds me of like little kid body spray. Very loud APPLE scent

Dry: This turned into something completly diffrent! Very womanly and dark with a hint of apple undertones. What a complete change! This scent has gone from pretty ok to FABULOUS. Its like a sexy apple. OW!
