  1. A writhing, winding, frothing mass of serpentine undulation giving birth to orchards of untold delicacy, debauchery, and ecstatic revelation. A hissing chorus calling forth wyrms from infernal depths and dragons of supernal sky to feast in tandem upon supple and unspeakable fruits. An adder stone crowned upon the head of the transgressor. A blend that is at once sensual, seductive, and sacrilegious.

Serpent scale accord, ink-black frankincense, myrrh, spikenard, and a hint of supple dark red fruits.

  2. Gift of the Devil’s emissary and heraldic beast. Venefic boon of the witches treasured familiar. The keyhole portal of sabbath’s flight, and a scourge upon thine enemies.

A thick, amphibious scent redolent of danger and seduction. Deep rich earth, stupefying iridescent green musk, ancient black oud, heady dark lichen, and dense, wet creeping mosses.

  3. An homage to the corvid. Speaker of arcane secrets, crafter of tools, revealer of mysteries, devourer of corpses, and hallowed psychopomp at death’s gate.

Licorice root, black amber, 10-year aged black patchouli, and dark, resinous incense.

  4. A call unto horned beasts and the devils which wear them as masks. Bleating and rutting of the pitch black goat. Hot breath and frenzied hooves beating upon the witching mound. A perfume to shake the depths of the earth and wake the dead.

A dark and diabolic animalic musk glittering with red labdanum, vetiver, black amber, rosemary, and charred sandalwood.

  5. A psalm of the hare. Blessed of the moon and beloved of witches as fetish, fetch, and form.  Adrenaline-heightened, ears pricked, and ever watchful, this is a scent of both transmogrification and cunning.

Hay, wild grasses, moist roots clinging to the walls of shadowy burrows, sun-warmed stones, red benzoin, and a hint of moonlight upon datura flower blossoms.

  6. The conjured spirit of the coal black cat. The thief and bestower of fortune. Unseen nocturnal phantom. Witch in the mill. And most beloved of Old Scratch.

Soft black silken fur curled next to a fireplace, flecks of ash and an arcing tendril of smoke, burnt cloves, and patchouli root.

  7. A new year’s blessing! Peony, China’s national flower, with bamboo for flexibility, plum blossom for perseverance, courage, and hope, tangerine for wealth, Calamondin orange for happiness, lychee for household peace, pine resin for constancy, golden kumquat for prosperity, King mandarin for good fortune, cypress for longevity, sticky rice cakes for abundance and hopes for a rich, sweet life, and a splash of blazing red of dragon’s blood to help you scare away the rampaging Nian.

  8. Black-brown fur rubbed against ochre bark, shaking off the last snows of winter. A tangle of maple branches and the crunch of dry leaves. Claws dipped in raw honey, clutching honeycomb, dripping with the juice of wild berries.
