My baby, may this year bring you joy, good health, and good fortune that lasts all your life and through all the lives you ever live. Thirteen of Lilith’s favorite scents, all rolled into one chaotic, exultant mess: lavender buds, blue cotton candy, buttered popcorn, squished carnations, vanilla ice cream, sun-ripe strawberries, chocolate chip cookies, warm milk, honey sticks, yellow cake, steamed rice, fresh bread, and puppies.
