  1. The nights are at their longest, the sky is at its darkest. The air is still with reflective silence. A bouquet of night-blooming flowers, petals dusted with frost. Cereus, moonflower accord, night phlox, honeysuckle, silver thyme, white mint, and blue musk.

typical floral, bordering on bugspray. no mint.

  2. In the bottle it was like pure orange, on the skin it's pure astringent tobacco. I normally amp spice, but i detect no cinnamon. Every so often I get a waft of sweetness which would probably be from the vanilla. It dries to a mainly soft tobacco.

  3. I was super excited, because I love chocolate scents & nervous for this, because of the additional notes. This was a let down. I see no dark sludgy bits, so this probably wont be that true dark cocoa of cocoa absolute. It is a sweet powdery cocoa. It goes mainly to a powdery musk sweetened with Powdery chocolate. It doesnt have much throw either, good for those who dont want to have a cloud of scent around them. I have to put my nose next to my wrist. Sometime I get a huff of something floral & play doughy. Ill let it settle a week and revisit.

  4. I had hoped this would be the best parts of Love, sweet strawberry and marshmallow, without the rose, but it's not. The strawberry is like the soft center of those bulk strawberry hard candies in a strawberry looking wrapper. The mallow blossom is definitely a blossom, floral, and not sweet. Artificial strawberry jelly, with a floral edge. Not a fan.

  5. Not like the nut in mouse circus, to me. I don't really even get deep snake oil. It's the weirdest thing, nothing like I expected. I hoped for mouse circus meets snake oil. I get whiffs of crushed peanut, not super creamy, sweet or salty. It doesn't have that deep resinous scent I usually associate with snake oil. Dry, it's like diluted snake oil with a faint crushed raw peanut edge.

  6. I don't get that blast of alcohol booziness. to me, bpal Rum scents are usually more like dark long barrel aged rum. It has a dark deep slightly wood bite. I get a bit of that in the background but the majority is SPICE!. I don't get coffee or buttercream. I mainly get some clove with that dark rum barrel edge. I'm going to let this one age. The imp will be enough for me. I tend to amp spice but the scent doesn't change from imp to skin.

  7. It starts off realistic tart squished raspberries, but settles into a pure blast of artificial red berry. it reminds of BBW sunripened raspberry. I don't get any bread/cake edge to it. The start is amazing but what it settles into, not so much, but I'll still hold onto my imp.

  8. Caramel is at the front of this.I'm happily surprised it doesn't go cloying or super buttery on me. I see the wee gobs of cacao floating in the imp. Supporting the caramel is sweet decadent chocolate, not powdery or fake, and not super dark either. This needs to be redone as a chocolate truffle. It'[s a keeper for a foodie lover.

  9. This reminds me of muddy puddles and the other hot chocolate. It smells powdery, chocolatey and a bit sweet, like huffing an envelope of hot chocolate mix. A keeper, but too similar to the others. I'll have to try a side by side test.

  10. First sniff is in the imp, is a bit of bright orange with a spicy floral edge, pretty accurate and I can pick the notes out. On the skin, the citrus quickly fades to the background and it turns into mainly lavender with a tiny hint of anise adding a vague edge of antiseptic. There's a slight sweetness, but I'd like more sweetness. I'm a foodie lover and this one isn't sweet enough for my tastes and is more floral.

  11. I was excited & hopeful after reviews. Miskatonic u has a buttery undertone. I love the whiskey note from whiskey truffle. I live In the desert so scents burn off faster & I'll need to rereview because this is a few hours out of the heat.

Straight out of the box, in the bottle, it was whiskey scented. After a few hours to cool, the bottle smells like misk u. Why is the rum, er, whiskey gone? It smells like the same coffee note with a buttery edge. It has a dark powder edge. It has average throw (personal space not a cloud) and staying power (< 4 hrs, after 2 have to huff wrist.). I feel like it has less throw than mu which is good because mu could be Cloying. This is sweeter than mu. I don't get any whiskey. :(

I'll probably wait a few days and revisit the review. For now, its sweeter mu with a slight dark powdery edge.

it's had two days to settle. Still strong MU buttery coffee note with a slight cinnamon stick/spicy wood powdery edge. After about an hour and a half, dries to a Sweet sugar scent with a drop of coffee. Have to huff wrist. Still no whiskey boozy note. Seems like the more days go by the more it mellows and quicker it dries down to sweetness instead of coffee. I'll probably review again Friday.

  12. Prominent aquatic note. I get something green bitter with a hint of citrus, but it doesn't smell like grapefruit/lemon/lime/or verbena to me. The scent smells like green water. I don't get a dark note. It settles into something aquatic & dryer sheet scented. I prefer the foodie stuff, so not for me

  13. slightly sweet, a bit green, and a bit bright. I get lemon blossom, tangerine a slight green twang of parsley and a berry background. It's a great mix, bright without being overly citrusy/cleaner, the parsley gives depth, and the berry isn't cloying.

  14. First thing I get is effervescent white mandarin, Crisp, bright, bubbly. The bubbliness fades and the scent goes way down, soft throw. It settles to something slightly sweet, slightly floral, and slightly green. It is very soft and well blended. I lean toward foodie scents, but this is sweet enough to be a keeper.
