  1. The imp was very rootbeer-ish. On me it was very aged vanilla with a hint of the rootbeer smell. The vanilla smlled like Dorian does on me but with sassafras instead of the spice. It lasted several hours.

    Bohun Upas

Fruit emacited in wine, that's what the imp smells like. Goes very green with my skin chemistry. The darker fruit lingers in the background while the poisnous green leaves come to the forefront.

    The Hesperides

It's apple testing day. This imp smells similar to eve but with a bit of mint? Oh..is that eucalyptus? Or evergreens? If you ran across a pine tree in the woods and it had apples dangling from it's branches, that's what Hesperides smells like on me. It's a fun visual.

    Eve

The spirit of temptation, the essence of lost innocence. Apple blossom, rose, ylang ylang and golden honey. Mmm.. this has to be the yummiest imp I've ever smelled. Crisp sweet apples smothered in honey all ready for pie. Just need a little spice and the crust. Roses and my skin seem to love each other, so while wet it morphs from apple pie to heaps of roses in an apple orchid. About the same once dry. I think eve and I need to spend time together this spring. I'd really love this in a locket too, just for the amazing honeyed apples smell.

    Forbidden Fruit

In the imp I get amber and something sweet. Wet on me it's very floral at first and then I got this pixie sticks mixed with heady flower petals smell. The floral stays very dominant as it dries, but it retains the sweet edge. Interesting!

Allergy Questions, Allergies and other reactions to oils

Anyone know which oils Last Squished Jelly Bean and Saw Scaled Viper have in common? Both scents give me large red marks on my neck that look like I had a bad date with a vampire. Didn't happen until after both had aged a bit though.

    Recommend for fruity floral?

Persephone (sweet bright juicy pomegranate rose) Fruit of Paradise (LE) (darker pomegranate) La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente (on me, the fruits and flowers balance really well. ) Katharina (Is a little more floral to me then Aglaea) Aglaea (Amber sweet peach with a dusting of flowers) Tweedledee (sticky sweet on me) Strawberry Moon (LE) Hollywood Babylon 'Tis The Voice Of The Lobster

    Jezebel

Smells like..sweet tarts and flowers. No idea why. Smelled like heady rose, and sweet fruits on me. I like it, but the rose was a little over powering in this one. Orange blossom surfaced once it dried fully. Locket might tame the rose.

    Smut

Smut '10 Bottled smelled sultry sweet. This was the first really musky oil I've tried. It actually smlled just like the bottle on me than got a little sweeter as it dried. Smells good now..so I imagine it's going to smell realllllly good in a month or so.

    Thirteen (13), November 2009

Imp: chocolate, green, sweet vanilla First applied it was very fudgey, yum. As it dried it got really incense-y but with a cocoa background. Sort of like chocolate dipped incense. I don't like foody normally..but this yummy!

    Ice Queen

The imp: reminds me of Titianna without her sweetness. Wet: At first it smells of evergreen and then it starts to get chilly. Dry: A cool minty smell trumps the evergreen as it dries. The trees are still there in the background, but I'm mostly getting the cold wind and the snow note.

    Sugar Skull

Sugar Skull, 2007 I smell like incense candy..haha The imp smelled kind of like cotton candy. Then the oil smelled kind of maple syrup-ish when it was wet, then morphed into a sugary incense smell as it dried. I'd love this as an air freshener scent.

    Butterflies and Plovers

Bottle: smells sweet, earthy, and a little sharp Wet: I can smell a little green, but the citrus is also there. Dry: The green is fading as it dries and the citrus peeking out more. It almost smells sweet orange rind-ish. Very light, a good scent for when it's really hot this summer. I'm really glad I swapped for this.

It smells very happy on me..for being a twisted blackened wicked rose. It smelled bright and rosey in the imp, then became a dried rose smell, but I still picture freash roses too when I smell it.

    Clockwork Couture: Female

The imp is very curious smelling. Vanilla muddled with amber and tonka. It reminds me of the vanilla lace powder my mom used to get from Victoria secrets, when the oil is wet. Dried down this smells really similar to Liz on me, but with no smoke. I like it! Edit: An hour or so later..it was sort of mouse's sad long tale..but softer, without the strong floral note.

    The Ides of March 2009

The imp smelled lemony fresh, as it did on me while wet. As it dried, and the amber came out it got warmer smelling and became a golden sweet lemon with a sprig of rosemary. I like it, it's greenish but playing nice with my skin!

    Coral Snake (2006)

Blood Orange and I love each other..but snake oil and I..just do not get along. Even with the other notes in the oil..snake oil still took over. Smelled good in the imp though. Dry & wet it was a slightly sweeter verison of snake oil on me, with a smudge of fruit.

    Josie

Imp smelled very sweet and flowery..sort of like honeyed flower petals. Wet and dry the oil smelled the same on my skin, heavy on the magnolias and light on the peach. It's very pretty and southern but a little too much floral for me. I'm glad I got to try it though (:

    J-Horror

In the imp: It smells white, sort of gauzy white. Lilly and sandlewood hit me first. Wet: Citrusy and mint Dry: The flowers mostly. The lilly.

    Thouros

In the bottle: Flower petals dipped in simple syrup. Very sweet rose. Wet: The smell reminds me of the taste of sugared rose petals, or french rose candies, the little pink ones. As it dried the rose settled down a little and the sugar softened. It's a sweet almost airy rose. Not powdery or overwhelming. The throw was a little less than moderate on me. I'm glad I bought this one un sniffed.
  21. Depending on how the fruit note wears on you, Persephone has a red rose smell.

    Peach, Peach Blossom, Apricot, Nectarines

I have imps of both Algaea and Katharina, does anyone know how simliar Josie (one of the girls from the new orleans scents) is to either of those?

    Bon Vivant

Imp: Smells really good. I wanted to drink it, but didn't. Wet: boozy sweet tarts Dry: It's strong. All berry, sparkling berry. I'm not sure if I could wear this reguarly. It'd be good for like a Mardi Gras styled party.

    Mouse's Long and Sad Tale

Imp:Vanilla Wet:Vanilla flower, and very sweet. Dry:It dried to this cuddly soft vanilla with a hint of the sweetneess and flowers. It's very good when I don't feel well.
