    The Jersey Devil

When first applied, the sweetness from the cranberry practically smacks me in the face. Fortunately that doesn't last too long because the pine emerges to keep it in check. Once completely dry it became a beautiful mixture of pine and cranberry that reminded me a lot of the holiday season. I think I'm going to pick up a bottle and put it away for that time later this year.

    Sheol

Sharp resinous floral. As it dries down, I am picking up on a little bit of dirt and grass in the far background. It also seems to be more perfumey on my skin than it was in the vial. This is a beautiful blend that gets sexier and sexier as it dries, but I'm not too sure I'll need a full bottle just yet. ETA: Strike that last comment, I need a bottle of this stat!

    The Zadok Allen Vineyard

Upon initial application I detected a strong berry-ish red wine with just a hint of coffee. As it dries down the coffee seems to disappear and is replaced with something more sinister (dragon's blood and incense, perhaps?). The dry down reminds me of a brick/blood red color and is just absolutely beautiful, but I don't think I'll need a full bottle of this one. Off to hunt for a partial!

    The Steeple

All I seem to be getting is sweet grass and herbs. The throw and longevity of this blend is amazing, but unfortunately its not a scent for me.

    Inganok Jewelers

This is a very interesting blend. When first applied, all that I could smell was some sort of metallic stone. Once it started to dry down, it became very musty and sweet. Finally, it developed into a faint, but sweet mineral-type scent. I was hoping this would be a bit like Silver Phoenix on me, but sadly it's not.

    The Gilman House Hotel

There is something in this blend that is tickling my nose. From application to dry down, this blend makes me envision the forest floors of the Rain Forest: wet, dirty leaves and tree bark. At first I didn't like this at all and that's probably because I've never worn anything like it before. However, it's grown on me quite a bit and while I don't think I like it enough for an entire bottle, my decant will definitely be getting some lovin'.

    Enchanted Wood Florist

This actually reminds me a lot of the scent that you hit with when you first walk into a florist; a mixture of sweet and heady, sharp flowers and their stems. It's very, very pretty. There also seems to be a bit of a musky feel to it once completely dry, which [to my nose] makes the blend a bit warmer. I'll be picking up at least one bottle of this one.

    Bijoux Y'ha-nthlei

Wow, this blend is simply breath taking! When I first applied it, I mostly picked up on the neroli and white musk. As it began to dry down, the beeswax and amber seemed to emerge just a tiny bit. Once finally dry, I get a very small hint of citrus along with all the other notes I previously mentioned. I absolutely can not get over how gorgeous this blend is ... I keep huffing my wrists! It makes me feel feminine and sexy; I think I'm definitely going to need two bottles of this one.

White Chocolate, Strawberry, and White Pepper Truffle

Upon initial application I got a strong whiff of the white chocolate, but that turned into juicy strawberries real fast. The strawberry scent was really nice while it lasted before it turned into a mixture of white chocolate and pepper. I have a sinking suspicion that my skin doesn't like anything with a white chocolate note.

White Chocolate, Black Raspberry, and Apricot Cordial Truffle

White chocolate, black raspberry, and apricot cordial truffle. The white chocolate seems to be gently trying to push the black raspberry and apricot out of the front and so far it seems to be succeeding. After it has completed dried down, I still get mostly white chocolate with very sugary sweet fruits in the far background. Now, I'm a girl that loves sugary sweet scents, but this was way too much for me which is sad because I was really excited about this blend.

Milk Chocolate, Coconut, Cardamom, Rum, and Ginger Truffle

One of these notes is *not* agreeing with me because its actually making me gag. I'm thinking it could possibly be the cardamom that my skin is turning into nastiness because I've never tried that note before. Definitely not a blend for me.

Milk Chocolate and Matcha Green Tea Ganache Truffle

Green tea and lemon seem to be all that is coming out on my skin; the chocolate seems pretty much nonexistent. Even though the throw on this blend is remarkable, I don't think I'm going to need a bottle.

Dark Chocolate, Whiskey, and Cognac Truffle

Wow, this is some very boozy chocolate! The dark chocolate note seems to be a lot deeper than the Key Lime Truffle, but I guess it would have to be since it has to compete with the likes of whiskey and cognac. As far as intensity and throw, this scent is amazing! It's actually making me crave chocolate really bad right now. Out of the entire Chocolatier bunch, this is the most masculine and boy is it tasty!

Dark Chocolate and Key Lime Truffle

Mmm .. this is delicious! Chocolate has a tendency to turn into melting plastic on my skin, but THANK THE HEAVENS that did not happen with this blend. The lime also seems to be a little more upfront than the creamy dark chocolate, but extra lime never killed me. I have a partial currently on its way to me, but I think I might need a full bottle too.

    Thouros

A strong, but elegant rose with just a tad of fruity tartness. However, the intensity of this blend seems to calm down as it dries and the rose otto and lychee begin to dance more as one. This is a beautiful soft floral/fruity scent that I'm going to need a bottle of.

    Thoos

This starts out as a delicious bright and juicy tangerine. As it drys down the brightness seems to be replaced with a soft musk. This is absolutely gorgeous and since it's so light on my skin, it will perfect for my scent locket. Definite bottle.

    Rhinotoros

Wow, the vetiver in this blend isn't so in your face as it is in other blends that I've tried. Perhaps the grapefruit helped in its taming? It's a bit more powdery and subdued to, but I'm okay with that! Once completely dry a tartness (again the grapefruit) comes out along with the pepper. I wasn't expecting to like this one at all, but I actually do ... just not enough to warrant full bottle.

    Miaiphonos

When I first applied this blend, the clove and anis were fighting as to which would get to be the one to amp on me. It was quite interesting because I could smell both of them so distinctly without a hint of anything else. Ultimately it seemed that they had declared a truce because they were the only notes that ever came out on my skin.

    Khrysopelex

The only note in this blend that seemed to worry me initially was the caraway. This is mainly because I cannot stand the smell of it or the taste of it ... yuck! I was a brave little soldier, though, and decided to try the sniffie that I received in hopes that it would only be a background note. Within seconds of application it was clear that those hopes would not be fulfilled. On my skin caraway was all I smelt and boy was it strong. I should have stayed clear of this blend, but unfortunately my curiosity got the best of me.

    Khalkokorustes

This is absolutely beautiful! None of the notes seem to want to push the others out of them way; instead they all come together on my skin to create an exotic, but playful scent. The sweetness from the pear does peek out a little bit towards the end of its wear (which for me is hours!), but its not at all intense. I'm definitely picking up a bottle of this because not only is the scent amazing and the longevity incredible, but the throw is also out of this world!

    Enyalios

This actually started out smelling like toilet bowl cleaner on me! Weird ... However, that seemed to go away rather quickly and I was left with an extremely faint scent that smelled mostly like cocoa powder. And then not even five minutes later, this scent is completely gone. Seems my skin has decided to gobble it up.

    Enkhespalos

Lots and lots of tobacco, wowza! I don't seem to get any of the other notes until it completely dries and even then they are pretty faint. This blend actually makes me think of those rough and rugged cowboys from the old classic Western movies; definitely more of a masculine scent.
  23. musichappens

    Brotoloigos

Wow, this is really nice! Upon initial application, all I could really smell was the geranium. However, the wenge and myrrh seemed to emerge rather quickly to help tame the geranium's intensity. The tobacco doesn't seem to reveal itself until its completely dry, which helps to round everything out by warming it up a bit. I wasn't expecting to like this blend as much as I do, so now I have to decide if I should get a full bottle or a partial. Hmmm ...

    Andreiphontes

This blend is so extremely faint on my skin that I have to put my nose right on top of where I applied it in order to smell a hint of anything. When doing this, the only note that I am able to detect at all is the black sandalwood. I have a feeling that if this was a bit stronger, it would have been amazing.

    Aatos Polemoio

The cedar and saffron seem to be amping quite a bit on my skin because all I am getting from this blend is spicy woods. It's not a bad scent perse, but I was hoping that the black currant would pop out a little more. That all being said, this is a bit too masculine of a scent for me.
