    Baneberry

Mmmmm... cold wintery berry. Dark, but not so dark that I can't wear it. I love this one!

    The Ragged Wood

This is another beautiful, sparkling floral. The juniper keeps it from being straight boring floral, and I really like this scent!

    Pain

I don't really like lavender. But I LOVE this. Why? I like pennyroyal. I'm not going to use as perfume, but maybe to scent the room. It's very calming to me, for some weird reason.

    Rose Cross

A profound symbol of an individual’s personal initiatic process, spiritual refinement and evolution, synthesis, grace found as a result of trial and suffering, and the alchemical process by which we transform the raw essence of our souls through light in extension. This is a holy oil, a representation of the triumph of spirit over matter: purest rose with sacred frankincense. Ooooh frankinsence. And rose! Well, I can smell some nice rose (maybe a white? It smells like the rose in Katrina Van Tassel) underneath that accursed FRANKINSENCE!

    Water of Notre Dame

Woah. Dryer sheet rose. Sad, because this is gorgeous watery floral before it touches my blasted skin.

    Twenty-One

This is wonderful! GIN! GIN! GIN! I think I might even get a 5mL... for layering purposes. I think this is one that layers well for those (like myself) that like boozy scents and wouldn't mind if everything was a boozy scent!

    Oya

Cherry cough syrup. And some herbs. Not really my thing.

    Queen Gertrude

A beautiful violet. I would call this a "soft floral", but it's not really. It's a floral for a strong woman.

    GOP

VETIVER. I agree with all the above reviews that, just like the real GOP, this just isn't for me.

    Blue Moon 2007

This is beautiful, and VERY well blended. I can't really pick out anything but a bit of orchid!

    Ostara

Soapy. I think there's too much going on in this blend for it to work on me.

    Nuclear Winter

This is minty-icey goodness! I love it and definately want a bottle.

    Omen

PATCHOULI! and MYRRH! and now I'll be adding OAKMOSS! to that list... wasn't oakmoss in La Primavera? It was okay there... this is twenty-two shades of gross on me.

    R'lyeh

Not dark at all. Very nice, bright aquatic!

    Dragon's Tears

Oooh, very pretty. A non-manly aquatic with a beautiful dragon's blood floral foreground.

    Eos

The Rising Sun. She is Ostara, Easter, the Anglo-Saxon goddess of fertility and the dawn. She is a protector and friend to all children. Her scent is that of softly glowing skin, jasmine, buttercup and honeysuckle. A pretty jasmine/honeysuckle blend. It also reminds me of New Orleans. Warm and heady. I don't know how much I'll wear it, but I'll keep the imp.

    Velvet Tiger

I tried this hoping that vetiver would stop doing its thing so much, but... this blend was all vetiver, all the time.

    Cthulhu

See, I LOVE aquatics. I think Beth does an amazing job of making aquatics that aren't super-manly gross smelling. This is a nice, clean watery scent. Perfect for aquatic lovers.

    Midwinter's Eve

This scent is GORGEOUS. A sweet, strong plum over the BPAL "snow/slush" note.

    The Ecstasy of True Love

I also get the fruity-earthy-floraly goodness for about two seconds, then I amp patchouli to high heaven.

La Bella Donna Della Mia Mente

Ah, another beautiful fruity floral. Very well-blended, very well balanced. And I love the poem of the same name.

    #20 Love Oil

Pure medicinal herbs. It makes my eyes water and it makes me sneeze.
  23. sarajane

    Sri Lanka

MYRRH! and PATCHOULI! are both here. Needless to say, that's all I smell here.

    Anne Bonny

Named in honor of the most notorious female pirate to ever set sail. Wicked, cruel, beautiful, intelligent, resourceful and dangerous: a true role model. A blend of Indonesian red patchouli, red sandalwood, and frankincense. A million thanks to Juliana Williamson-Page for inspiration! Wood chips again, with some WOAH PATCHOULI.

    Black Forest

Oh, I love pine. This is beautiful. I probably won't wear it as perfume, but will probably use it as a room scent or to scent bathwater.
