I got this imp for my gf, and on her it smells exactly the way it should; darkly sweet, smoky, and sexy as hell. she'll probably get a full bottle of this. so I had to try it, too, but on me it just didn't work. first it was sweet, too sweet, and too bright. after a while it was pure Kirsch, and from there it went to Campari. I don't mind drinking it, but I don't necessarily want to smell like it. on a side note: the dog instantly tried to hump my arm when I gave him a sniff, so maybe it does work on me in some level.

in the imp: black tea. wet on skin: ooo nice... tea, served in the kind of unfashionable way I like to drink it: very strong, very sweet, and with lots of milk. dry on skin: I love it. sweet tea, milk, two lumps of white pepper... served from a clean bedsheet. six hours later: the sugar left on the bottom of the cup after you've drunk the tea; sweet and faint. verdict: I've worn this to work every day since I got the imp. I'm definitely getting a bottle of this.

in the imp: coffee. sweet coffee. hard-boiled candy kind of coffee. wet on skin: irish coffee, heavy on the whiskey. dry on skin: just whiskey. it's making me feel drunk. no wonder things get weird in miskatonic.. a few hours later: slightly a better sort of whiskey, whiskey beginning with glen-. must be the oak. still no dusty tomes, and the coffee is gone now, too. on my gf: smells sweet and creamy, irish coffee with whipped cream on top. quite airy and pleasant, with a faint whiff of 'one book'. verdict: I'll have to try this again later, hope it works better after a little aging.
