  1. n bottle: Very lush pumpkin-spicy.

On me: I don't get the sourness I get from real-life cheesecake. To me, this is pumpkin pie all the way, baby. Delicious! The pumpkin note is dominant, of course, but I also get pumpkin pie spices and, yes, even the brown sugar and graham-cracker crust. This is amazing stuff! It lingers through the evening, with a vanilla note emerging during drydrown but not taking over.

  2. In bottle: Hey, yeah, that's apple.

    On me: Yep. Appleappleappleapple.

    Also? Apple.

..did I mention the apple? Because this is apple.

But it's an apple that reminds one that apple seeds contain cyanide. There's just a touch of that opium/hemlock darkness, an afterscent post-apple - when you've already bitten in, when it's too late. :P Perfect!

  3. In bottle: Ai-ya, this *bites*! In a good way!

On me: It's all swirling about. Red musk is riding high, its foot upon the neck of the struggling patchouli. Honeysuckle's not even trying... maybe it'll show up later. I'm hoping for the ginger to stage a comeback.

And later - yes, the ginger permeates it beautifully. :P

  4. In bottle: Woo! Yeah, that's patchouli.

On me: That's not so much patchouli! It's leather that rises first, a well-rounded leather note backed by vanilla, woods, and moss. I get twinges of the musk through it. Lovely!

  5. In bottle: Foody! Spicyberry.

On me: Very cinnamon! Me: "People were picking up stuff like strawberry and blackberry on this - on me it's nothing but cinnamon." Adam: "Good!" Me: "I like berries!" Adam: "Yeah, but I like cinnamon." This smells quite like the cinnamon brooms I buy in the autumn...

    ...

And now there's some fruit beneath the spices. Nice. :P

  6. In bottle: Very sweet, and a little bit floral.

On me: Goes baby-powdery on me. Floral Grandma powder. :P

    ...

o.O And then it morphs into non-floral sweet lightness. Huh.
