  1. What do the Novel Ideas For Secret Amusements bottles look like? Is it the full picture as linked to on the Salon page, or a section of the images?

I uploaded a group pick of the whole series into the community gallery

wow! Thank you very much :P

You're welcome! And for the sake of the set I posted group shots of the Love Poems and the Revisted blends as well.

I'm still hoping to see the other 2 Smut 08 labels. I have 2 but apparently there are 4.

  2. The Moon of Ice shines its pale white light on snow-blanketed hills and barren fields. Icicles dangle from skeletal branches, and the desperate howl of starving men and beasts echo through the darkness.

Frost-crusted winter flowers, white pine, eucalyptus, and traditional lunar oils.

A chilly blend - like walking through a snow covered forest in late winter where the temps are starting to warm and the smell of evergreen is in the air. This reminds me of my beloved Snow Moon only with the slightly sweet and minty scent of eucalyptus.

  3. Mutable water: the essence of faith.
Hemp, opium poppy, sarsaparilla, grains of paradise, passion flower, wisteria, Irish moss, and gentian.

Musky, earthy herbal. Base notes remind me a bit of Hunter Moon 07 only layered with a sort of green herbal and autumnal grain feel. Am super happy I got this. Makes me want to be a be a Pisces - or just go find one to snuggle. This is a warm, comforting scent that makes you feel like you are wrapped up safe in a blanket in front of a warm fire. The muskiness of it is what really grounds the other notes for me. It is super well blended.

  4. this is the scent I always wanted Skadi to be. Old moon is slushy snow, deep forest evergreens, and juicy red berries. Like sitting in the middled of an Alberta forest crushing fistfulls of berries. Am so glad I was able to get this, I would have been so sad to have missed out.

  5. in the bottle and on wet - plumtastic. The plumiest of wine. Plumtasmagoria.

On drydow - *shudder* Burnt, grape plastic cool-ade. The kind Satan likes to drink. Thankfully it faded super quick so I wasn't forced to gnaw off my arm in order to save myself from the stench.

  6. "Why, you are crying."

She said nothing. Dunstan pulled her toward him, wiping ineffectually at her face with his big hand; and then he leaned into her sobbing face, and, tentatively, uncertain of whether or not he was doing the correct thing given the circumstances, he kissed her, full upon the burning lips.

There was a moment of hesitation, and then her mouth opened against his, and her tongue slid into his mouth, and he was, under the strange stars, utterly, irrevocably, lost.

Honey musk, green tea leaf, blackberry leaf, vanilla bean, and fae spices.

First on it is a beautiful, decadently languid scent. Thick golden honey, bursting ripe blackberry, and the tang of something sharp like a grapefruit. As it dries the smooth vanilla comes out to play. Simply gorgeous.

Honeycomb, red currant, freesia, vanilla, rose geranium, thyme, and gardenia.

*huffs wrist* Ahhhh..... The perfect gardenia blend. This is the gardenia of my dreams, a perfect bloom, dipped in honey with just a drop of smooth vanilla. Amazing throw on this one. Every so often there is a slightly hard green note that comes out but it is very elusive and doesn't linger.

  8. rsal_rozpustnica.gif

Blue and white musks, moonflower, rose, magnolia, lemon verbena, and lychee.

Starts off as a heady, lemony perfume but soon tames down to a dry musk scent tinged with a hint of citrus and a subtle floral undertone. There is a very dusty rose note in the background that swirls around the lemon verbena.

  9. rsal_lavague.gif

White peach, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, iris, osmanthus, tangerine, white wine grape, and cream accord.

In the bottle this is a syrupy sweet peach that is sugary enough to cause an diabetic coma. On it is the lovelies sweet, incensy peach you could even wish for. Not too sweet, not to peachy, just a lovely juicy scent with a hint of rich, summer blooming flowers. There is just a touch of tartness to the blend that helps to ground the sweet factor. So good.

  10. I checked out the CnS thread. I looks like a few CnS confirmations were sent today, but not much. Also seems like most everyone's waited 14 - 25 days to receiver the CnS confirmation. Today was the 20th day for me. So, hopefully not much longer! I keep trolling my email box.

Just remember that not everyone that gets a CnS posts in that thread! Another good one to watch is the "I got my order" thread - people often list order dates in that as well. :P

ETA: also for what it is worth - the lab homepage currently lists the turn around time -

Please note that all orders, including domestic orders, are currently taking an excess of 14 - 21 business days to process, pack and ship

  11. The whole Rapaccini's Garden and A Picnic in Arkham categories are differently labeled than the regular GC as well.

Due to popular demand, here's Schrodinger's Cat accompanied by Aeaea and Dian's Bud (from Rapaccini's Garden).

Oh man! I totally want a bottle now just for the label! I love it. And the kitty is so cute. :P

  12. Hmm, does anyone think I should be worrying yet? I recieved my CnS for my Crypt Queen order on September 6th, and the tracking indicates the package arived in Canada on the 14th. Should I just suspect customs ate it and give it some more time? The only other package I've recieved(it was from TAL) came in a week.

Well if it did get stopped by customs the crypts have moss in them that they might take out. Some Canadians got their orders with no problems but it is always the (bad)luck of the draw with customs

  13. Lemony incense and warm herbals. Wet the lemon is more prominent but it almost disappears on the drydown. Powdery herbals - nothing too distinctive to my sniffer, maybe some tobacco leaf? The incense is a sweet touch of spices. I really like this. Why do I like things that are so hard to get!!!! I'm really glad I have an imp of this
