  1. This smells like sweet, sweet almond on me.

I swapped it, partially because it was high summer when I tried it and I couldn't envision reaching for it. Now that it's turning to fall, it occurs to me that it might be a good comforting snuggly scent.

(I should probably keep all imps for a full year to try in all seasons, but then my collection would really get out of hand!)

  2. Wet: Love the GREEN brightness of herbs, mint, lavender, lime - they mix to an almost pineforest scent.

Dry: Hm, all the brightness and greenness fades away to a clean soapy smell. :P

I swapped this; a scent locket might have saved it for me.

  3. Wet: Smells like a candystore - sugary/fruity/sweet

Dry: A warm scent. Sweeter than I'd have thought given the notes.

On my own, I'd hang on to this one but unfortunately my SO seems to be allergic - perhaps the tulip/poppy?

  4. I just downloaded the 9/16/08 spreadsheet and it's great - thank you! :D I'm just curious... how do other people handle their personal updating -- in terms of copying all your status and reviews note and color coding, if any -- from an older version to a newer version?

Hackess said she tends to put new stuff at the bottom of the sheet, so you can just copy that new stuff and paste it into your existing version.

(I, however, am avoiding this problem by trying my DARNDEST to stick to the GC - and then I don't need to worry about it. How long will this last? Only time will tell... :P )

  5. I second Danse Macabre (and I imagine it's better as the weather is cooler). I also really like Haunted. (Especially, I discovered, layered with Snake Oil, but that's a completely different story. ) Embalming Fluid I like, too, but it's best to wait until summer weather.

Eternal was a nice light floral that was pretty enough, but not really for me- since you mention light florals, it may be worth a try.
