The heather in this has almost a haylike/green/herbal/floral scent to it, and the blackberries complement it very well. I can smell each of them equally, however this is so light on me I have to slather it on to smell anything, and in 3 hours it was completely gone. It was nice while it lasted at least.

Very clean smelling. Green and an airy type of musk. I can hardly smell it on me. I slathered it on but I still have to press my nose to my arm to pick up anything at all.

The cinnamon and white pepper were the first notes that appeared when I first put this on my skin. After it dried down a few minutes I could smell the clove. Very spicy blend. Unfortunately it seems to be burning my skin a bit. The cinnamon seems to be getting stronger as the discomfort on my wrist. I'm going to wash this off and be sad it isn't something I can wear. I'm going to try layering this with other oils and see if that tones down the burning at all, or I can wear it in my hair

Wet on skin: Lemons? Smells like pledge cleaner. With lily and rose. Drydown: Soapy lemons with some floral. I wish I got something resiny, but I don't at all. Very very very clean. Too clean for me. Feel like someone scrubbed me down with some lemon scented disinfectant. I was soooo looking forward to this too

This is really strong on me. Very cedar. Very very cedar. Much too masculine. This smells like cedar with a little patchouli and myrrh. Not much else. I can't smell the grapefruit until about 15 minutes into wear time. This is very spicy and woodsy. I would like this on a guy perhaps but not on me. Sad this is discontinued because it is a nice blend, even though it is a bit too masculine for my taste.

Curiouser and curiouser. Milk and honey with rose, carnation and bergamot. The first note to hit me when I apply this is the bergamot. After a few minutes I can smell some of the rose, milk, and sugar. Ahh now the honey is coming out. A foody scent, completely reminds me of tea parties. This smells so innocent. I really like it. The carnation adds just a hint of spice to this, but not enough to take away from the sugary milk smell that this has going for it. Yummy.

Everytime I see lavender listed I want to run away, lavender and I don't really get on but I keep trying it anyway, only because Beth has magically been able to use lavender in several of her blends that actually smells wonderful on me. Who knew? In the imp: strong lavender and a little tonka. Eek. Wet: lavender, but it isn't as strong as in the vial. I can actually smell some of the rosewood in this giving it a bit of an earthy scent. The tonka and amber really add some depth and warmth to this. Drydown: I can barely detect the lavender now, but the amber, tonka, rosewood are definately there, and I get a little of the patchouli, it isn't that strong at all. This scent is amazing!!!! I have to agree with blood*rose*flowers and say this is light earthy scent. There is a woodsyness to it, and earthiness but it isn't in your face dark and murky. Final Verdict: Buying a bottle. One of the best earthier scents I have tried. The lavender is so light but it really adds to the earthiness of this. The amber and tonka in here smell heavenly.

I don't know what it is with my skin and vioet, if it is in the blend my chemistry amps it way up and turns it slightly powdery. That is what happened here, to the point that I could barely smell anything but violet. It takes about 10 minutes for the violets to finally simma down and let some of the other notes through. I start to get a little rose and honeysuckle and a tad of the vanilla and amber. The longer this wears on my skin the lighter the violets get and the more I can smell the vanilla and amber, it still does have a powdery tone to it though.

This is a citrusy amber. I also get a little ozone from this after it has been on my skin for about 15 minutes. I love the amber in this but I just can't do citrus, it makes my nose twitch, and while the citrus has calmed down from when I initially put it on, it is still there. The amber in this is absolutely beautiful though!!!!

This is such a pretty sugary scent, but not like cotton candy sugary, but one of fried foods such as funnel cake. I also get marshmallows and coconut. This smells absolutely divine, but I don't know if I want to smell like yummy food all day. I am definately hanging onto my bottle however!!! Maybe even ordering another because this smells soooo good!!!

In the bottle: This smells of rich dark cocoa and fruits. Wet on skin: All cocoa. I can't smell anything else but I have a horrible craving for See's candy all of a sudden Drydown: The cocoa takes a step back and now I can smell the juiciness of the pomegranate, the ripeness of the fig, the honey and vanilla giving it the most delicious scent. I can't smell any of the lemon or bergamot though, which is good because I am not a citrus girl. This is such an amazing scent and it is very complex. Everything blossomed so beautifully and mixes together really well. I feel like I can detect a different note everytime I sniff my arm. Very impressed.

Wet on the skin: all lilac baby. Very strong floral. Drydown: the amber is peeking through, and the lilac has taken a powdery turn, but the myrrh has also come to the party. While I love the scent of the amber and myrrh, I am unsure about the powderyness of the lilac on me. I'm just not a powdery kind of girl, but oh am I a sucker for amber. I keep going back and forth because the amber in this is beautiful but the powder is not. I think I like it though, go figure because it is discontinued. Sigh....

    Gomorrah

In the Imp: I get the fig and dates. Very earthy and ripe. Wet on skin: Very strong of ripened fruit. Woah. Drydown: I think that is either vetiver or patchouli, I'm bad at notes sometimes. There is definately a dirtiness there with the ripened fruit, but a I can smell the currant and it rounds out the fragrance nicely. I get some herbs too as this dries down even furthur, about 10 minutes. This is a wonderful scent, makes me feel very grounded. Another bottle added to the list.

In the imp: wine, a little fig, and something else. I'm bad at picking notes but maybe myrrh. It smells rich Wet on the skin: lemons, almost candyish. Where did that beautiful richness go? This smells like lemons with something dark underneath. Drydown: So much better. The wine is coming out again, a little fig, the lemon scent has really faded down, a little floral, some musk. Much closer to what I originally smelled in the imp. Resiny, incense, woodsy, but not heady. Definately my cup of tea.

    Carnivàle

In the Bottle: I don't get any carnation at all. In fact this is all juicy berries and some amber. Sooo yummy!!! Wet on Skin: Almost bubblegummy, but there is the carnation. Definately spicy, can hardly smell the berries now because it is almost all spicy carnation. Drydown: I love this!!! I think I will need to order a few more bottles. The spice of the carnation has definately stepped back a bit in order to let some of the other notes through. The berries are more in the background and just add a subtle juiciness that is utterly yummy, but the amber and musk swirl through this and make it really beautiful. There is a very mild floral that I can barely detect, is that the heliotrope? I would say the dominant note in this on me is the musk once this wears down with the carnation and berries playing in the background. Perfect.
