very redcurrant. i used to have a lip balm from bath and bodyworks that smells almost exactly the same. smells kinda fruit punchy & very similar to aunt caroline's joy mojo. i prefer jester to aunt caroline's. it's a very up playful happy scent. and therefore quite well suited to its name. i am not usually able to tolerate sweet scents, but i do enjoy this one. ........and now i am craving juicy fruit gum..!

smells so so sweeeeeet. syrupy. unfortunately much to sweet for my nose. i detect bits of pine and pumpkin apples and fall treats. it does have a very autumnal scent to it. i really wish this would work for me with samhain being my fave holiday and all. but alas, it does not.

hehe...i stink to high hades of mabon........mmm that really didn't make much sense did it? *shrugs*

i sprayed some monyette on me when i was in a beauty shop in new orleans. i remember liking it but didn't have money for it, and still have not got around to purchasing.
but i do not recall sacred whore or any bpal scents to be similar thus far, but i'd probably have to re-sniff monyette again to be sure. it's been awhile now.
i would recommend to try scherezade though. it has a warm incense tone to it that you may like.

to my nose it is a combo of o, snake oil, black phoenix, and baby powder. mostly similar to o.
i do like snake oil, but my skin does NOT like o, and i don't like baby powder smell. ick!
seeing as how popular o and snake oil are though, i think this will be a highly regarded scent.

owwwwwwwwwwwwies! booo on bad habits!!

thanks for all your recommends
i drink almost only water these days so as far as that goes i don't think that is an issue.
sinus problems is where i have the most trouble. i think what would help me most is if i quit smoking. smoking is such a nasty habit...and i think it may be the main cause of my sinus ickiness.
i have been meaning to take some calcium and vitamin supplements. being a vegetarian since i was 16 i think i am lacking in some of the nutrients i might need.
thanks again

yep, tarted just means the ol' style impies

hiya.
i was hoping someone could recommend some good medications, or other remedies for:
*sinus pain/congestion
*pain in general (particularly from standing around at work all day, ouchie feets!)
*menstrual cramp pain
and anything else really.
what pills, herbs, medicines, etc help you, and could maybe even possibly help me?
thanks!
*****i mean to post this in randomness, if someone could move it for me that'd be great, sorry i am tireeed*****

i second bayou as well.

Bayou
in Wanderlust
this scent brings me back to my trip in new orleans. it's a swampy, sticky floral. but lazy and relaxing.
a heady floral, with hints of spice and grassy notes. it's initially a bit too much for my nose, but as it calms down it blends beautifully.
a very warm enveloping scent, taking you away to southern bayou bliss.
this very much makes me want to go back to visit new orleans even more.
an overall very intriguing, well blended scent. yay.although may be a bit sweet/heady for some.
**edit** after wearing for a bit longer, i am getting a headache from the scent. i think i will dilute it in a spray and hopefully it will work better that way**

smells like strawberry wine cooler goodness. it's a fun, young & sweet scent.
not something i would wear regularly, but i think i will use up the imp though
i think people who like hollywood babylon would like this one as it reminds me of it.
sniffing this out of the vial conjure's up visions of being a kid, outside selling
kool-aid at a "lemonade stand". or running after the "ice cream man" truck. very reminiscent of childhood fun. puts a smile on your face.
-
very yummy. i like to carry my little imp around and dab it on myself, and my cute guy friends
smells very clean, yet intoxicating. i may even have to get myself a bottle of this one
-
just checked the mail and no bpal today still waiting on june 14 order.
-
i would guess hollywood babylon as well........
-
eep!! i really need to get a new job..NOW. need to purchase bpal. *sigh****

++snake oil(that's kind of a given isn't it....), dragon's heart, dragon's milk, dana o'shee, spellbound++

both my last orders took a month, or slightly over a month. to give you an idea........;]

i have tried a lot of the cinnamon/spicy scents, and none of them smell like chai...
i love chai tea myself and would absolutely adore having a chai tea scent made!
as far as scents the lab does have though, i think you would appreciate sin. it has a lighter warm cinnamon wafting scent. very yummy.
+i just mixed scherezade, dragon's heart and snake oil, and it smells heavenly too
-
glad you liked it scylla
i think gluttony is a nice scent. maybe a bit too sweet/foody to me.
it's not something i would wear so i decided someone else should try it
who might like it better ~

welcome welcome

three witches is very cinnamon smelling...
sin has a very light cinnamon scent to it..
if you like cinnamon, you'd possibly like dragon's blood scents as well..
dragon's heart is..
-
hmmmmm..
dragon's heart is my first or 2nd fave bpal scent. can't decide between it & snake oil...i usually just wear them both at the same time
it's the nice spicy of dragon's blood & sweet of the fig... and it makes a perfectly lovely comfy combination.
i know if i curled up next to someone else wearing this scent i don't think i'd ever want to leave their side hehe
i have ordered a 10ml bottle of dragon's heart recently, and will probably order more soon just because i am paranoid of running out or misplacing it or etc.

clovers and tea. i invision a warm breeze, wide open field wind gently blowing. clover and scattered flowers. a picnic tea party in the middle of the field. a very light, clean & refreshing blend.
