    Dragon's Bone

The dragon's blood is more of an undertone in this one than a top note. It's a light, woodsy scent, I guess because of the sandalwood. It has a bit of a bite to it. This one just doesn't work on my skin, it goes a little plasticy and synthetic smelling. I will find my imp a good home.

    Lolita

very, very heady and perfumey when I first sniffed it. I didn't think I would like it at all. It has softened into an orangey, honeysuckle sweet floral, and its really nice. I don't think it's one I would wear to often, but it perfectly embodies its name and is a lovely, girly scent.

I remember trying this one awhile ago and not liking it, but now I'm enjoying it. That's why it's so good to revisit scents you weren't crazy about. It's quite sweet on me, really womanly and feminine at first, but it softened into a rosey, honeyed powdery scent. Very soft and pretty, rather innocent in spite of its name. I'm glad I tried it again.

    Nocturne

Eeek, violet strikes again. Just not a good note for me. The tuberose and lilac are almost enough to overshadow the violet, but in the end the stink comes through. Does not like me, but I won't take it personally

    Depraved

This is my favorite incensey smell. When I first apply it I can sense a tiny bit of apricot, but on the dry down there's none at all. It's a sharp, straight up, incense stick patchouli scent. It's like a hippy in a bottle, I really love it. Normally scents like this just go in my oil burner, but this one really works on my skin. Bravo!

    Florence

A yummy, amberish incense scent on me. It's soft and tender while also sexy. It's definitely a red scent for me, and such a nice amber blend, which I'm a big fan of. This is lovely as a perfume and would probably be a really nice, languid room scent as well.

    #20 Love Oil

When I first sniffed this one, my first thought was almonds. Now that I've worn it awhile, it's dried down to a spicy/herbally rose scent, and it's quite lovely. It's like a heady rose perfume with a bit of a kick, like evil seductress roses. Quite enticing, extraordinarily sexy, and perfectly suited to it's name. Wear this one when you're on the prowl, my fellow seductresses

    Shill

Yup, smells just like movie theater buttered popcorn!! Amazing, it's like a snack that has been liquified. My man thought he smelled some caramel in it as well. It's just like I rubbed my wrist across a tub of popcorn. A really cool idea, I don't know if I'll wear it often but I think it would be really fun for movie night in my oil burner.

Ahhh, I really love the smell of tulips. It reminds me of growing up in the Midwest. This is a pure, floral, airy tulip scent, with a faint hint of an aquatic undertone. It can almost smell the spring air and picture the perfect spring sunny morning. Really nice, feminine and innocent, I love it.

It's funny, violet and clove are my two least favorite notes, but they are actually not so bad in this blend. The incensey smell seems to balance out the clove nicely, and the violet is just a low undershadow. While it's not bad, clove is just not my thing, ugh.

    Cairo

It's a gritty, hot sand blown type incense smell, probably perfect for Cairo. Not a super spicy incense, but a little more on the sweeter side with a tiny bit of musky kick. A yellow/orange smell for me. Conjours images of Cleopatra on her throne.

    Perversion

This one's really boozy and the top notes on me are definitely the rum and the chardonnay. This is a very complex, many leveled scent. Everytime I sniff it, I smell a different note; there's the leather, next sniff tonka... All in all this is a pretty interesting scent, and while these are not notes I would normally enjoy, I think I will use my imp of this.

    Glasgow

A sweet, breezy, berry and floral scent. Light, innocent, enchanting. The heather is so lovely and feminine, and the blackberry undershadows it perfectly. I really like this one, it reminds me of my childhood for some reason. It's magickal!!

    Athens

Honeyed wine, with a bit of a kick. The florals are there, but they are majorly undershadowed by the wine. The longer I sniff, the more that the myrrh shows itself as well. It's a sweet scent, but definitely debauched by the alcohol in the wine. I like it, I think this is a really complex and inventive one, and I'll certainly enjoy my imp.

    Hollywood Babylon

Yummy! The top notes on me are strawberry and cherry, and they are dragged across a lovely dark musk. There is also a hint of the amber and the vanilla, but they are sort of like after thoughts. It has the same yummilicious appeal for me that Blood Countess has, but it's a bit more innocent and a little sweeter. It reminds me a bit of burning a strawberries and creme candle in a room where someone is wearing a sexy red musk. I really like it, I'm undecided on if I need a 5 ml, but the impie will definitely go to good use!

    Dragon's Eye

Oh this one is fabulous. So far I have LOVED every dragon's blend that I've tried. This one is no exception. The dragon's blood smells so lovely smeared over lilac, and the lily of the valley gives it a wonderfully perfumey undertone. It's so sexy and feminine and I am in love!

    Midway

Wow, it changes every time I smell it! First it smelled like cotton candy, then fried foods, now it smells like saltwater taffy. It's extremely sweet to the point where it's almost too sweet even for me, ALMOST. I love it, fabulous foody creation, tempting and mouth watering to the extreme. How does she do it ladies and gentlemen?

    Rose Cross

I luuuv the rosey ones, and this one is no exception. I probably won't do it justice, as it amazes me how Beth manages to create so many rose blends that are all so distinctly different from eachother. This one smells like crisp, ripe pink roses fresh off the stem. I actually can't really smell much of the frankincense at all, just pure rose. I love it!

    Voodoo

Ughh, cursed clove ruins another lovely blend for me! When I first put it on, I was thinking it might actually work in spite of my nemesis, clove. It smelled really sweet and foody. But, only about a minute later, the entire smell turns nothing but clove. Why? Why does my skin want me to only smell this cursed note in every blend containing it? Ahhh well, I think of one's I don't like as money savers .

    Penthus

A really nice, light, perfumey blend. The rose is the top note, with a barely there creeping shadow of incense as an undertone. It's very subtle and doesn't have a lot of throw on me, but a beautiful perfume just the same. Very sexy and feminine. Makes me think of the inside of a classic British perfumery. I will enjoy using my imp.

    Elegba

Super, super sweet and buttery. Smooth, luscious rum with a coconut undertone. It's that really sweet rum note that is also in Grog, but this one's not as overpowering, it's really nice. What else can I say? I love it, this imp will go into my regular rotation.
  22. QueenFae

    Greed

This one is really brown and earthy. Instead of being patchouli based, like I expected, the oakmoss is the top note on me, which is not a great note on me. It comes out smelling dank and dark. The patchouli is there, but it's not strong enough to counter the strength of the oakmoss. Not for me, but I'll find my imp a good home.

    London

Very crisp, bright rose when first applied; beautiful. On the drydown there is a bit of...corruption that begins to come out. It's hard for me to identify the culprit, but something definitely darkens it up. This one is lovely, bold, classic pink rose with a little kick. I'll certainly enjoy my impie!

    Obeah

First thought: smells like a spice cabinet. It's very strong and peppery, like an overwhelming mix of really potent herbs. Just like when you open Grandma's old spice cabinet that has absorbed the scents of a thousand different herbs and spices over the years, and it's mixed into one strong aroma. Probably quite nice on the right person, but not really my thing.

    Santa Eularia Des Riu

This is really a very lovely blend. It's soft and delicate. I can smell the lavender and jasmine, but there's something else there, somewhat herby and spicey. I guess this would be the soft Mediterranean herbs. I am also detecting a bit of orange now that I've applied a little more. I like soft blends like this, but they just never last too long on me. This might be nice for bed time.
