I think the pine in this is a little too overpowering. So far, I'm not that fond of it. But we'll see.

When I got my first order and was smelling all of the bottles, I accidentally got a little snake oil on my finger and even though I was only trying out Persephone on my skin, I decided to try Snake Oil on the other wrist.

Can I just say that I love this already? I can smell the vanilla, but it's not too sweet. There's something underlying that prevents this.

I'm already making my next order up and I think I will need a bigger bottle of this!

I don't know what pomegranates smell like, so I'm guessing that's the juicy smell. It's very sweet but not sickly sweet like candy, a juicy sweet. I can barely smell the rose underneath. I think this might be one of my favorites! (so far)

I was worried that I wouldn't like this, because some people described it as resinous, I think, but I'm really find that I like that!

I can't really describe it beyond that, but it's nice and subtle, which is good for me.

Like someone said before, it kind of does smell like earth mixed with old walls, like being underground in a catacomb!

I was asking because I've avoided perfumes for so long, because a lot of them give me sinus headaches and my allergies hate them. I've only tried two scents so far and I do have a slight headache, but I don't know if it's because of other reasons than the scents.

Though I will try to remember which, if any, scents give me headaches and see if I can isolate the problem!

First whiff from vial: For some reason, I'm picking up an orangey smell and I can smell the patchouli also. I'm also getting some of those resinous smells people are talking about. Still smelling straight from vial, I'm kind of getting a scent of hardwood floors in an old store with incense. It reminds me of the Voodoo section in Schwab's on Beale Street, not quite New Orleans, but very close.

On the skin: This really really smells like hardwood floors to me so far. I can just imagine being in an ancient store. There's an old ancient smell that I'm picking up on. I'm not sure what it is.

Now that it's tried down a little, I can really smell the vanilla! I can't make any sweeping judgements yet, since this is only my first one.

First whiff from vial: I can't pick out any particular notes, just a general floral perfume that is very subtle. Usually, floral perfumes, actually, almost any perfumes give me headaches, but I associate florals with perfumes, so..

Ohmygosh! Once I put this on, I could totally smell the pear!

It's dried to a nice, light floral, but I'm not sure if my slight headache is from this or Voodoo, or just smelling too much!

First sniff from vial: Very strong roasted almond including the skin coming out, like there is one in front of me.

I know some of the BPAL scents are obviously supposed to be very sexy, but from everyone's personal experience, what scents seem to attract the opposite or same sex, depending on the person?

Yeah, we really don't have a post office. I mean, very small ones scattered about, so I think the whole thing that someone at my dorm signs for all the packages makes sense. I never thought of any of this.

I just wanted to clarify, if you need a signature to get your package, if you don't sign for it, does it get sent to the nearest post office? I'm just wondering, because I live in a dorm and I get in a slip in my mail box when I get a package and I have to sign for it before they give it to me, but it's not a USPS thing. I don't know.

Ok, I would use the search feature on the BPAL website, but it's not working, so I can't easily look up the perfumes.

Any recommendations on any of the BPAL products that have a nice citrus smell, preferably, lemon?
