Hot-buttered vanilla lily.

Deep dark and murky jasmine musk, with trodden violets wafting in and out.

A bit of harshness on first sniff...apply with care.

This is darker and sexier than I expected.

Verraverra womanly.

This lasts for HOURS, drying down into a paler, floral musk.

A burst of cherry mellowing into soft cedar.

Bubblegum, soap, and licorice tea.

This smells EXACTLY like Blood on my skin.

EXACTLY.

I don't think they share any notes...

 

This is amazing.

 

It smells like a blend of two of the oils that I loved, but ultimately made me sick, Black Moon and Hexennacht. Black Moon without the sneezy nose tickle, Hex without the sweet syrupy note that amped and amped and amped until I became queasy...

 

The opening of this is strongly gardenia. I am a gardenia fiend, and have many gardenia perfumes, but unfortunately the Lab's gardenia note smells strongly of butter on me. Not here though, the gardenia is folded into soft wet greenery and surrounded by a woody/sweet incense burning.

 

It stays close to the body. It is voluptuous and lovely.

 

Funny, as I've gotten this as a frimp in swaps and from the Lab several times, but I've always passed it on until today.

 

Silly me.

I love this. It smells almost exactly like the Empress to my nose.

Rosy and lush and sweet and glowing.

 

This is fresh and green and sap-like and bright and sweetly alcoholic.

It does remind me of Litha.

Stays very close to the body.

Oddly, after just a few minutes this is Spellbound on me.

Dorian+boozy cookies.

Juicy and sweet and velvety and deep red, but also fresh and a bit soapy.

I don't smell the pear or the cucumber specifically, which is good.

I'm not sure if it's wearable on me though.

Eat Me turned into Smut on me. Which is, I suppose, fitting.

Unexpected!!

This one is beachy and soapy and upscale.

I don't smell any of the vanilla...

 

I smell mostly the lily and the orris, with a little of the sea-scent.

I wanted to love this one, but I don't.

I put this on my ankle, and I keep having to hoist it up for a sniff.

Really good.

It smelled like pink frosting in the bottle, but I swear I smell red musk on my skin.

It's not as cakey as I feared it might be.

 

Reminds me of the Queen Crossbones soap from Arcana.

Seriously.

 

Evolution: chocolate, then creamy soft edible floral a la Snow White with a thin layer of cocoa, eventually drying down to straight cocoa butter.

 

I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I LOVE it.

Aureus smells like curry on me. Warm and savory.

Very sweet and a little sharp at first.

Something about this reminds me of Hexennacht, but brighter.

Daytime forest rather than night.
