Bottle (Imp): Slightly sweet, quite smooth.

An hour or two later: This is really staying about the same on me.

 

Around 6 hours: Sweet and smooth.

 

12 hours: Just the last hints of sweet.

 

Overall: I'm liking this one.

 

After reading other reviews: Wow, I didn't get any individual notes out of this, and especially not cinnamon. But it's lovely, and I like it.

Bottle (Imp): Quite a bite to this one.

 

Just On: Bite, and a touch of antiseptic.

 

An hour or two later: Settles down to a smoother scent.

 

Around 6 hours: I'm going to guess some soft musk.

 

12 hours: Yeah, a nice soft bit of musk.

 

Overall: This one starts out with some real bite, and mellows down to a wonderful soft musk scent.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't really think this was masculine. It's tough to wait out the bite, but it is nice once it dries down muchly.

Bottle (Imp): Quite flowery.

 

Just On: Flowers galore.

 

An hour or two later: Sweet woodsy flowers.

 

Around 6 hours: Still sweet flowers, kinda woodsy.

 

12 hours: It's barely there sweet flowers.

 

Overall: Pretty damned nice scent, I'd say.

 

After reading other reviews: Apparently violets work well on me, and I'm not complaining, I love them. However, I really don't feel somber, sad, or wistful with this scent, I just feel peaceful and calm.

Bottle (Imp): Hmmm, there's some sweet and some bite to this.

 

Just On: Some definite bite.

 

An hour or two later: This mellows down into a sweetish scent.

 

Around 6 hours: It's almost gone, and I can't really tell what is left.

 

12 hours: It's no longer there to smell.

 

Overall: This is certainly an interesting scent. Too bad it doesn't last longer on my skin.

 

After reading other reviews: Okay, so the sweet is fruit. Maybe the neroli is the bite? I didn't get that bite from the SN neroli, but that could be it. Apparently it wasn't as sweet on me as others.

Bottle (Imp): Rather dark and spicy.

 

Just On: I can't tell what is here, but it's dark to me.

 

An hour or two later: Hmm, it's very faded already, but it still seems rather dark.

 

Around 6 hours: Venom has left my body.

 

12 hours: Uh yeah, so it's like, still gone.

 

Overall: This one went away way too fast, but was otherwise okay. Probably not a big bottle order for me.

 

After reading other reviews: I really didn't think this was any flowers, but apparently I was wrong. I like it well enough, but it's not an OMFG scent on me.

Bottle (Imp): Smells like pretty flowers.

 

Just On: Yes, nice pretty flowers.

 

An hour or two later: Hmm, watery flowers. Not really soapy, though a hint of it.

 

Around 6 hours: Just a touch of soap, and nice watery flowers. Not bad.

 

12 hours: Hmm, a little bit of sweetness to finish things off.

 

Overall: This one is pretty nice, and I'm finding that some flowers really do work on me.

 

After reading other reviews: I never really got the clover or herby scents, mostly just the flowers. I still like it.

Bottle (Imp): Fresh and ozone.

 

Just On: Fresh ozone.

 

An hour or two later: Dryer sheets, in the good way.

 

Around 6 hours: A hint of sweet; ozone and freshness.

 

12 hours: It's pretty much gone now.

 

Overall: I rather liked this one.

 

After reading other reviews: I can't id notes either, but this is so neat, and I think it fits the name.

Bottle (Imp): Smells like flowery soap.

Around 6 hours: Really yucky soap. My skin TOTALLY makes this stink.

 

12 hours: Bits of soap.

 

Overall: I'm rather bummed that this didn't work, because I love the name, but this is not my type for certain.

 

After reading other reviews: I never once got smoke, ashes, or flames out of this at all.

Bottle (Imp): Rather dark and incensy. Perhaps pine.

 

Just On: Yeah, pine.

 

An hour or two later: Pine resin.

 

Around 6 hours: Not much left, a bit of pine.

 

12 hours: It all went away.

 

Overall: I like this one. Which is rather odd, because I usually don't do pine much.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't get all the mossy other stuff, but that was okay in this case.

Bottle (Imp): Cologne and soap?

 

Just On: Flowery cologne.

 

An hour or two later: Whew, this is soap and cologne, and flowers. An odd mix, and it seems to work okay.

 

Around 6 hours: No, too much soap and such, so it's not for me.

 

12 hours: It's gone.

 

Overall: It started fairly nice, but just didn't dry down as well. Ah well, can't love EVERYthing can I?

 

After reading other reviews: I guess I can see the violence in the scent, and maybe that explains why it was not happy on me.

Bottle (Imp): Oh water off the ocean after a storm.

 

Just On: Yeah, some ozone with the water scent.

 

An hour or two later: Hmm, still the same, with a tinge of muck.

 

Around 6 hours: A touch of soap, and water.

 

12 hours: A hint of watery muck.

 

Overall: This is a great scent. Not as chaotic as I might have expected, but still very evocative of it's name.

 

After reading other reviews: I like this one. That watery muck smell is the smell of the breeze passing through after the storm, carrying the scent of broken trees and such. A hit.

Bottle (Imp): Hmm, smooth and kind of sweet with a tinge of a sharp edge.

 

Just On: Like the imp, but maybe with a bit of flowers.

 

An hour or two later: I still think there might be flowers, but I can't figure out what else this is. It's not as smooth, has some grit to it now.

 

Around 6 hours: More grittiness. Very interesting.

 

12 hours: A bit of grit, and some flowers.

 

Overall: I really like this one. The morphing and the way it blends are so interesting to me.

 

After reading other reviews: I wish my nose were trained to pick out the notes the way others' are, but I can see where I get the things I"m getting out of this. The grittiness is likely to be the incense, which I tend to like, and the smoothness is likely the ozone. I never got lemons or fruit out of this one.

Bottle (Imp): Really sweet and a little flowery.

Around 6 hours: Still sweet flowers with that tinge of soap.

 

12 hours: About the same as before, but fainter.

 

Overall: Beautiful. I really like this one.

 

After reading other reviews: Okay, so I see where the sweet comes from.

Bottle (Imp): SLightly green and flowery.

Just On: Pretty green, a bit flowery.

An hour or two later: Green soap.

Around 6 hours: Soapy soap soap soap.

12 hours: Is there a song about soap? Cuz I could sing it now. But I won't subject you to that.

Overall: I'ma bummin, because this is alllllll soap on my skin.

After reading other reviews: I'm in the minority, but this is not a scent for me.

Bottle (Imp): A touch sweet, fresh, a little breezy.

 

Just On: Quite fresh, a little breezy, just the barest hint of sweet.

 

An hour or two later: It's really similar to the way it started out when it was just on.

 

Around 6 hours: Almost a sweet woody scent, maybe smoke.

 

12 hours: A bit of wood with even less sweet to it, a faint whiff of some flower.

 

Overall: I like this one a LOT. Onto the big bottle list.

 

After reading other reviews: I don't get the rum out of this, but that's okay. I love it anyway.

Bottle (Imp): This smells like a fresh salad to me. No dressing yet, just the salad part.

 

Just On: Yeah, I distinctly smell something that's similar to lettuce. There's other stuff too, so I would place this in the herby category.

 

An hour or two later: Whoa, total change, it's really sweet now.

 

Around 6 hours: Okay, now this seems a litte dry, and a little sweet.

 

12 hours: The last bits of dryness.

 

Overall: Hmm, interesting all along. No clue what's in it, but decent altogether.

 

After reading other reviews: Wow, I'm not sure what I'm smelling... but it doesn't sound like much others have described. Might have to try this one again.

Bottle (Imp): Musky dragon's blood.

 

Just On: Mmm, nice musky dragon's blood.

 

An hour or two later: More musk than anything. It's not too bad.

 

Around 6 hours: Now more dragon's blood comes out.

 

12 hours: It's all went away.

 

Overall: Quite lovely all the way through. Pleasant, considering that musk can wreak havoc on me with my skin.

 

After reading other reviews: Yeah, a musk that works, and I would agree it must be lighter ones.

Bottle (Imp): Oh, sweet and vanilla over luscious chocolate.

 

Just On: Mmmm, yes, chocolate with other notes hovering around it. Vanilla and possibly some crisp fruit.

 

An hour or two later: Quite chocolate-y. I really like this a lot.

 

Around 6 hours: Faint bits of chocolate, and maybe a tiny bit of flowers.

 

12 hours: The barest hint of chocolate.

 

Overall: Another hit, and another one for the big bottle list. Man is my budget gonna suffer with this addiction.

 

After reading other reviews: Yup, I get the chocolate, and so much more.

Bottle (Imp): Oh, very sweet.

 

Just On: Cinnamon sweetness.

 

An hour or two later: No longer cinnamon, but still quite lovely. Perhaps a whiff of some flower.

 

Around 6 hours: I get a hint of cinnamon, and a flower.

 

12 hours: No more smelly.

 

Overall: This is one to buy a bottle of.

 

After reading other reviews: I don't guess I'm getting any rum, but that's okay. It's still great.

Bottle (Imp): Citrus! Oooh me like.

 

Just On: Grapefruit.

 

An hour or two later: A bit of grapefruit, with lemon rind.

 

Around 6 hours: Mostly lemon rind, but I still like it.

 

12 hours: It's gone. I want it back!

 

Overall: I really like this one.

 

After reading other reviews: Ahhhh, lemon balm. Apparently that took over this scent for me. I like it.

Bottle (Imp): Sweet, not too much, and a little tickly to my nose.

 

Just On: Oh, it's very sultry, the sweet tones a little, and something else starts to come forth.

 

An hour or two later: This is quite sultry, and exotic smelling to my nose. It's not nearly as sweet, but still quite nice.

 

Around 6 hours: This has morphed a fair amount. It's still sultry and exotic, but in a different way. More mature, more seductive.

 

12 hours: Whiffs of seductiveness, but nearly gone.

 

Overall: Nice. I think a bottle of this is in order.

 

After reading other reviews: I don't get chocolate, and I'm not bothered by it, though I would love to have it.

Bottle (Imp): Hmmm, some spice, and maybe wood.

 

Just On: Yeah, spiced wood comes to mind.

 

An hour or two later: Yes, quite woody, and a little spiced. An old table that has had it's share of spices soaked into it over the years.

 

Around 6 hours: I'm getting the end of the wood now. It's quite faded.

 

12 hours: Last little bits of wood.

 

Overall: This is definitely a keeper.

 

After reading other reviews: Wow, not a hint of florals on me, and no incense either. Spicy and woods is all I got, and I like it that way.

Bottle (Imp): Very sweet and lovely.

 

Just On: Sweet.

 

An hour or two later: Nice, smooth creamy and sweet.

 

Around 6 hours: Perhaps the tiniest whiff of soap with some sweet creamy sweetness.

 

12 hours: The last vestiges of creaminess.

 

Overall: This is a nice scent on me, even with the minor soap that appears for a little bit. I wish I'd been able to get more, but it's not overwhelmingly crushing, like others I truly adore and can't have.

 

After reading other reviews: Okay, the sweet is plum and blackberry, and the smooth must be the amber and wood. Other than that, I'm not familiar with most of the notes, so that's my guess. WHile I don't love this as much as many others seem to, it's quite wonderful, and yet another LE that I'd love to see back again.

Bottle (Imp): This smells smooth and a tiny bit sweet.

12 hours: Well, it is onto to someone else's hand, so to speak, as it's no longer on me.

 

Overall: I love so many scents that I have NO clue of the ingredients, and this is another one of those. I like it though, it's very smooth with that hint of sweet that I tend to like a lot.

 

After reading other reviews: One with flowers that work. That's nice. ALl in all, I'm rather neutral about it, but it's gorgeous in general. Just not my type for some reason.

After reading other reviews: Wow, I really didn't get the lotus on this one, and that usually jumps right out at me. I get the sweet, and I would agree with honeysuckle, which is usually sweet and flowery on me.
