Overall: I really like this one.

 

After reading other reviews: I don't get girly or teenager-ish out of this at all. This is a scent for a woman who is looking for someone who wants to take a bite, or maybe just a nip. She's secure enough to wear what she wants, when she wants, and is feeling coquettish.

Bottle (Imp): Fresh and herby.

 

Just On: Herby and fresh.

 

An hour or two later: Fresh herbs.

 

Around 6 hours: Herby freshness.

 

12 hours: It's gone now.

 

Overall: Pretty decent.

 

After reading other reviews: Lucky for me these flowers worked. I like it well enough, but I'm not sure I'd buy a bottle, as there are other scents I like much more.

Bottle (Imp): Dragon's Blood, with something familiar that I can't quite name.

 

Just On: Yes, dragon's blood, and I canNOT figure out what else I'm smelling, but I *know* it.

 

An hour or two later: That something else is there, faded but there. The dragon's blood seems to be gone.

 

Around 6 hours: Barely there. Just that little thing I can't figure out.

 

12 hours: Gone.

 

Overall: This is great. I can see wearing it every so often.

 

After reading other reviews: I think it's the smoky leather thing that I couldn't identify. I'd love to see more Ars scents come out, because most of them have ranged from pretty okay to wonderful on me.

Bottle (Imp): Soft and furry, warm.

 

Just On: A warm scent, I can't pick out notes, but it makes me think of baby animals curled up in the sun to soak up its warmth.

 

An hour or two later: Very light muskiness, and sunshine. I'm seeing soft cuddly brown fur.

 

Around 6 hours: Very light sniff of musky softness.

 

12 hours: Barest hint of soft musk.

 

Overall: I like it.

 

After reading other reviews: I'm not quite sure if I want this on the biog bottle list, but it's probably gonna tag along somewhere in there. A musk I can wear is always a good thing.

Bottle (Imp): Dark earthy flames. I know that makes no sense, but it's the only way I can think of to describe it.

Just On: Dark flamey earthy goodness.

An hour or two later: Soft dark flames licking at a big tree in the dirt.

Around 6 hours: Soft smooth earth.

12 hours: The last vestiges of earthiness.

Overall: This is another earth scent that I'm adoring.

After reading other reviews: The flowers never really came out on me here, which is probably for the best.

Bottle (Imp): Hmm. I can't decide what to make of this. A hint of sweet. Something not quite sharp.

 

Just On: Hmm, cocoa? Bunches of other stuff that is too well blended to identify.

 

An hour or two later: Wow, this has like, cocoa'd flowers. It's really unique, and I can't say that I've smelled anything quite like it before, though a couple of the notes seem familiar, it's so well blended I can't pick them out.

 

Around 6 hours: A well blended scent, I can't really pick any notes out. It's maturing nicely, maybe a bit of cocoa, and some flowers that aren't soapy on me.

 

12 hours: It's all gone.

 

Overall: I really like this one.

 

After reading other reviews: Only one other person got cocoa? Maybe it's come combo of scents that gives the impression of cocoa, but I could have sworn that's what I was was smelling. A nice scent all in all.

Bottle (Imp): Oooh woody.

 

Just On: Oh yes, this has wood in it, and I like it.

 

An hour or two later: Gosh, this is fading quickly. Hints of wood left, not much else.

 

Around 6 hours: Barely wood left, a hint sweet.

 

12 hours: It all went away now.

 

Overall: I like it.

 

After reading other reviews: What's with the cinnamon in tarot oils that I can't smell?

Bottle (Imp): Smooth and a bit creamy.

 

Just On: Smooth and just a hint creamy. Maybe some very light florals.

 

An hour or two later: Hmmm, smooth creamy soap. Not bad, all in all, but not something I'm going to jump on a huge bottle of.

 

Around 6 hours: I could live with smooth creamy soap. In a soap. This is okay, but not something I'd reach for a lot.

 

12 hours: It's left now.

 

Overall: This would make a great room scent, but isn't something I would wear.

 

After reading other reviews: Hmmm, another one that the connamon doesn't show up in when I put it on. Bummer, as I love cinnamon.

Bottle (Imp): Sweet, with citrus.

 

Just On: Definitely citrus, the sweet sinks into my skin and isn't as obvious. A nice true citrus, not fake.

 

An hour or two later: There's some citrus left, not much though. It's fading fast.

 

Around 6 hours: Just a bare little whiff of citrus left now.

 

12 hours: It's all gone bye bye.

 

Overall: THis is pretty nice all in all.

 

After reading other reviews: Boy, the cinnamon never really made an appearance on my skin with this one.

Bottle (Imp): Sweet, dry, and bright yellow.

 

Just On: Oohhh this is beautiful. It's sweet, with a tinge of dryness. Color is bright yellow, with hints of orange swirling through it.

 

An hour or two later: Okay, it's not nearly as sweet. It's much more dry, and a vivid orange like the sun.

 

Around 6 hours: Oh so dry, and parched. Sandy orange color.

 

12 hours: A last whiff of sandy dry sun.

 

Overall: I really like this one. I am probably going to have to order a bottle somehow.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't really get the citrus specifically out of this one. Some oils produce a vivid color association, and this is one of them.

Bottle (Imp): Oooh so smooooooth. A bit creamy, smooth, not really sweet per se.

 

Just On: Creamy, blended with the lunar oils that have become familiar through trying all of the lunacies out. Very beautiful scent.

 

An hour or two later: Not as creamy, more of the smooth lunar oils come forth. It's still gorgeous, but the biggest thrill is just getting to try this. I'll probably buy when the next blue moon comes around.

 

Around 6 hours: The lunar oils are much more prominent now, but it's fading as I type.

 

12 hours: Blue Moon has left the building.

 

Overall: I like this quite a bit. I have to admit though, Milk Moon and Chaste Moon are higher on my list than Blue. Still, I wouldn't complain if this comes back on the next Blue Moon.

 

After reading other reviews: This was the last one I *needed* to obtain to have tried all the lunacy oils. I'm glad I got it, and I like it. All the different notes mix so well. No soapiness, the cucumber doesn't take over, it just all mixes together in a wonderful way. I'm going to treasure my little half imp, because it was a gift, and it means a lot to me.

Bottle (Imp): Breezy ocean air.

 

Just On: Ahhh, yes, breezes coming in over the ocean.

 

An hour or two later: This is really nice, and I'm a bit surprised at how it smells like ocean air.

 

Around 6 hours: Ocean air, just fading because the breeze isn't really blowing anymore.

 

12 hours: The breeze has gone away. I miss it.

 

Overall: Definite keeper. I'm loving this one.

 

After reading other reviews: This so totally lives up to it's description. I can't really add much to the other reviews, I love this one.

Bottle (Imp): Fresh and clean.

 

Just On: Still mostly fresh and clean.

 

An hour or two later: It's got that fresh and clean thing, but there's something darker going on underneath those. It makes this very interesting.

 

Around 6 hours: I can still get the fresh and clean, with that dark tinge of other.

 

12 hours: It's left my skin now.

 

Overall: This is pretty neat. I like it.

 

After reading other reviews: What an interesting reaction. To me this smelled much fresher than I would expect in reading the notes. Macha... I laughed so hard I scared three of my cats when I read your review. Now all I can see in my head is a crying God of War.

Bottle (Imp): Woody and sweet.

 

Just On: Woody and sweeter.

 

An hour or two later: Sweet wood and possibly fruit?

12 hours: A bare hint of wood.

 

Overall: I like this one. I am considering trying to tack one onto an order.

 

After reading other reviews: Cedar is the wood. Heh. I see I'm not the only one to get some fruit out of this one.

Around 6 hours: This is fairly sweet, and I just get white when I smell it, if that makes sense.

After reading other reviews: Hmm. It seems others get the same feeling from this. It's just so pure, and I certainly couldn't pick out a single note, or any combo. This is pretty awesome.

Bottle (Imp): Mmm, dark, and a little spicy.

 

Just On: Dark, spicy, the tiniest hint of sweet.

Overall: I can't tell what's in this, but I kinda like it.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't get much gardenia apparently, but it was still nice.

Overall: I know I was really brief on this one, but I just couldn't think of anything more to say. It's okay, but my skin kinda makes it icky.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't get a lot of sage. The iris must be what turned to soap with my skin.

Bottle (Imp): Musky.

 

Just On: Hm. Musk.

12 hours: Patchouli. Faded patchouli.

 

Overall: I'm sort of wondering if I've confused patchouli and musk... but that's what I got. Ahh well, let's read reviews and see what happens.

 

After reading other reviews: Wow, I wasn't imagining things. It has patchouli and musk. No wonder. I rather liked it.

After reading other reviews: Hmm,m it certainly didn't seem very dark to me. I really like this one, and am a little sad that it doesn't seem many others do.

Just On: Fruity sweet sage.

Around 6 hours: Fruity soap. Stupid skin.

 

12 hours: Hints of soap.

 

Overall: Well, sage is nice, and so is the sweet stuff, but the soapy stage is gonna make this one I'm not complaining about losing.

 

After reading other reviews: I didn't get the cedar out of this at all.

Bottle (Imp): I think it smells a little watery, and a bit sweet and spicy.

 

Just On: Watery and smoooth and spicy and maybe a bit sweet.

Overall: I like this well enough. I'm guessing this has some kind of aquatic flowers in it.

 

After reading other reviews: WOw, I certainly didn't get all the connamon and cloves that others did. I don't mind though. I liked it.

Bottle (Imp): Oooh, beautiful citrus!

 

Just On: Okay, this is the lemon from lemon pledge, but without all the other crap in it, and I *really* like it.

 

An hour or two later: Lemon pledge. I'm enjoying.

 

Around 6 hours: Ooh, furniture polish scent. How very odd. Quite interesting as well. I think I might like this a lot. Too bad it's discontinued.

 

12 hours: No more of any of it.

 

Overall: I like it, but probably not well enough to have bought a big bottle if it were available.

 

After reading other reviews: I sure didn't get the sweetness that others did out of this.

Bottle (Imp): CITRUS!

 

Just On: Lemon rind.

 

An hour or two later: Lemon, with rind, fading quickly.

12 hours: It's a goner.

 

Overall: I found this to be a lovely lemony scent.

 

After reading other reviews: That's odd. I didn't get grapefruit, but lemon from this. Still citrus, but just odd, because I adore grapefruits and eat them a lot.

Bottle (Imp): Mint and fresh air.

 

Just On: Fresh air with mint in the breeze.

 

An hour or two later: Minty breezes.

 

Around 6 hours: Very faint miny breeze.

 

12 hours: It's left now.

 

Overall: I really like this one. It stays fresh and breezy throughout, and has decent lasting power. I'd buy more of this if it were available.

 

After reading other reviews: Wow, I certainly didn't get any sharpness out of this at all. I guess I see why it was discontinued, but I'm rather shocked that more people didn't like this one.

Overall: This is a pretty nice scent all in all. Not necessarily my type, but I can live with that.
