    Chrysanthemum Moon

At first the mums are really prominent with the opium and it's a bit sharp. As it drys down, however, there is this gorgeous spicy sexy red musk floral thing happening that is really gorgeous. I'd love to find a bottle of this, it's yummy!

    Sundew

In the imp this is an amazing golden, bright, dewy, shiny, sunny, yellow scent. It's thick, rich, and beautiful. On my skin, however, it turns to a rather nondescript floral scent that is a pale shadow of its original state. Scent locket only!

    Love Me

This is a sweet, jasmine/vanilla/honey blend. Sadly, jasmine amps to high-cat-pee hell on me so it's only starting to dry down now and give a hint of the sweetness. The cat-pee part is so unpleasant, though, I don't think I can stand it.

    The Scales of Deprivation

I get the lemon, white sage, lavender fougere and sandalwood, no vetiver or labdanum. This has faded quickly on my arm, but what I can get is a pleasant sandalwood, herbal scent. Despite its description, I do find it strangely comforting because I am amping the more pleasant notes. And I do love lavender fougere!

    Sed Non Satiata

In the imp this is sort of a weird, boozy floral. I was not excited to try it. Once applied, however, this has morphed into a gorgeous, sexy, honey and sweet patchouli skin musk blend. It is SO sexy. I love, love, love it! I will absolutely be picking up a bottle of this deliciousness.

The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife

When first applied, the white mint is dominant. It's not a sharp, spearmint--esque mint, but a gentle minty fresh vibe that compliments the ambergris and honey. On the dry-down, the white mint disappears leaving a sweet ambergris behind that is barely baby powdery. Gorgeous. There's something a little thick here, I think it's the seaweed.

    Bensiabel

No leather, just plummy lilac and herbs. It's a little bit too sweet on me and I was hoping for a soft leather to balance it out. Swaps it is!

    Grandmother of Ghosts

Mania, Roman Goddess of the Dead, Matron of Madness, Governess of the Ancestral Spirits, Bestower of Divine Frenzy. Her scent swirls with a high-pitched tumult of laurel, stargazer lily, splintered woods, peony, mandarin and white musk, and is spiked with pale pepper. As is appropriate for a ghostly scent, this is incredibly faint in both the imp and on my skin. There is a hint of white musk, peony, stargazer lily and is a tiny bit sharp with the pepper. It disappears in about 45 minutes, leaving only a faintly floral musk tint.

    The Gladdener of All Hearts

This is a creamy, powdery milk scent with a soft rose/sage note on top. The cream is a little bit sour on me, but that's my skin chemistry freaking out about milk/cream notes. It's pretty, soft and innocent... so not me at all.

    Anactoria

In the bottle this is quite light, with a hint of floral and soft musk. Very pleasant. When first applied to my skin there is an icky soap note (I think it's the golden amber) that burns off after about 30-45 minutes, thankfully, leaving behind a gorgeous white honey skin musk type note. It's soft and the throw is not very great, but like most of the Lupercalias it is perfect sufficient as a close to the skin scent. I know the notes list says Arabian musk, but it must be close to skin musk as that is what I am getting. It almost has a vanilla esque edge similar to Morocco.

    Josie

I got a prototype of Josie in a swap, but from reading the reviews it sounds very close to the final product. In the bottle and at first it is a very strong sort of peach schnapps smell, which I think is the honey and magnolia really amping up the ripe peach flavor. As it dries, the brandy note fades and what is left is a juicy, southern languid Magnolia scent that is just gorgeous. Peach Moon was a sharper, fresh peach, perhaps not even just ripe yet. Josie is that peach where it's almost too ripe, but perfectly soft and juicy. It evokes New Orleans and madames for sure.

    Candles Moon is goooooooorgeous!

    Aeval

This is just sage and sweet pea on me... super light and faint. In the imp it has a much stronger pretty floral and pale musk scent with the undertone of tonka. Too bad it fades so quickly because it does start out very pretty.

    51

This is very faint, green and dry. It does evoke a strange, dusty desert flat. I get green and white musks with the desert scrup and smashed wood. Very little of the other notes, perhaps a tinge of freesia. It's pretty but I can barely smell it after an hour's wearing.

    Horreur Sympathique

In the imp this is a thick, languid, fruit and honey scent. On skin the honey takes priority along with blood musk, plum blossom and benzoin giving it a high sweetness. Very pretty and sexy, unexpectedly so for me!

    Rumpelstilzchen

In the imp this is a super intense scent. The vetiver is really smoky and almost like rotting cheese. The firewood and ash are very prominent and the patchouli gives this a raw, earthy edge. Once it dries, however, this is a deep, woody, ashy masculine scent. It's pleasant and comforting, like a sexy lumberjack. It's definitely not feminine or foody; if I had a boyfriend I'd definitely slather this on him.

    Metal Phoenix

The Chinese musk in this blend is very light, almost white musk. With the metal, honeysuckle and verbena, this is a high cologne scent. I get no rose mallow or carnation. Honeysuckle can sometimes turn to cat pee, but it's not even present.

    Man With Phallus Head

Smoky musk, ambergris, tonka bean, brown sandalwood, daemonorops, black currant, and honey. Wet in the decant and on my skin, this starts out disappointingly cologne-y, with the brown sandalwood, smoky musk and ambergris taking the lead. As it dries down, the honey comes out to play a bit with the tonka bean, giving this a pleasant sweet tinge, but there's no hint of black current. Sadness.

    Green Phoenix

The cucumber is definitely the culprit here with that weird fake cucumber sweet smell I get from a lot of Beth's cuke notes. No mint, sage or papaya, some crushed grass and green musk with a limey overtone. Definitely a green scent but not for me.

    Giant Vulva

Um, how have I NOT reviewed this? This is one of my go-to date favorites! This scent screams sex. It really does kind of smell like a vagina, but my manfriends and I agree that this is what we WISH vaginas smelled like all the time. The skin musk, sugar cane and beeswax are the primary notes for me, with a bit of vanilla flower. I get almost no copal. It's long lasting, but you have to be close to smell it; there is little throw. Warning: this perfume oil is serious business. I wear it when I want to get really, really intimately close to someone. I'd feel super awkward just walking around smelling like OMG SEX!!!!!!!!!! Use with caution! When used appropriately, however, it has so far proven to be a great success for me at least.

    Tissue

Light, light, light soapy gardenia. No rice paper, no honey. Sad!

    Death Adder

At first, the coconut is quite strong, enough that this smells like Snake Oil sunscreen (which, actually would be awesome). My imp is quite aged, I was frimped it so I don't know how long, but the vetiver has reached that yummy smoky stage and isn't all sharp and disgusting. As it warms and drys, this becomes a beautiful vanilla and Snake Oil scent that is dark and sweet. I love it and will definitely be getting a bottle.

    Titania

Wet in the imp it's a very pretty, feminine floral/fruit combo. On my skin it fades remarkably fast, especially the fruits. The florals remain very lightly. It's not for me, so off to the swap pile it goes.

    Nagarjuna v2

Wet in the bottle I get the soapy resins that many reviews are talking about. To be honest this smells quite unremarkable in the bottle, and morphs spectacularly during the drydown. On my skin while wet, there is the soapy element as well as strong resins with a slightly bitter undertone. The soap quickly fades and leaves behind a fresh, clean woody-resiny period. When dry, however, it fades to a gorgeous, soft skin musk. This isn't the WHOA SEX!!!!!! of Giant Vulva, but a soft, clean, comforting skin musk. There might be the slightest hint of a vanilla/skin musk combo, but it's beautiful. I'm so glad I swapped for this!
