    Cathedral

Wet in imp - Strong resin. Doesn't exactly smell like church insense, but pleasant and warm. Wet on skin - Resins and a faintly powdery undertone. Dry on skin - smells just like a church, if your church uses incense in a censer! After reading reviews I do get a faint woody undertone, but it all fits in to the "cathedral" vibe. This would be great in an oil burner too. I love this scent--definitely resin, but not too strong. Ave Maria!

    Yggdrasil

Wet in imp - Strong herbal/spruce/pine scent. Borderline pine fresh cleanser but not too fake piney smelling. Wet on skin - less piney fresh, more of the herbal with the undercurrent of pine. Dry on skin - Piney and soapy. Very little herbs. Kind of sad, because it smells better in bottle than skin! I was hoping for more of a woody-fresh scent.

    Jezebel

Wet in imp- Strong honey, roses and sandalwood. Wet on skin - Very little honey, more roses and sandalwood. Dry on skin - more of an undertone of orange blossom, still sandalwood, less roses. I'll probably trade this one because I don't particularly care for the roses and I would prefer more of a honey smell.

    The Unicorn

Wet in imp: Smells a bit like spicy baby power. I get the linden blossoms and then baby power. Wet on skin: I get more of the white flowers, but still baby powder. Dry on skin: I think this is still a little “sweet” for me with the baby power scent. After some time it fades a little to more white floral, but for me it's a pass.

    Baobhan Sith

Wet in imp: Strong impression of white tea and underlying grapefruit. Wet on skin: Still white tea, less grapefruit. I don't get any of the apple blossom or ginger. Dry on skin: The apple blossom has come in a little, but this scent is still fresh and delicious. I absolutely love it. It's going on my full bottle list!

How do you apply your BPAL oils?

I'm wondering what "routine" folks have for first test oil applications. I just got my first BPAL order and I want to try all the scents! I don't want to mix, though, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on clearing scent off completely and starting over. I want to try rubbing alcohol, but that might dry out my skin a lot.
