  1. Like others are saying this is pretty!!! I like the creaminess in it (which I never expected from these notes) that doesn't go plasticy at all on my skin. I already had WILF on from earlier, but when I applied this close to where WILF was, it layered really nicely. This will probably be a bottle purchase for me. Fresh and just gorgeous.

  2. This smelled so odd in the bottle, like a ton of scents thrown together. On, it first reminds me of an orange based cleaning product in a way, but the orange calms down and lets everything else shine and it becomes more musk on me, but very light throw on my skin. Interesting scent, need to test again I think before I decide if it's a keeper...

  3. I am thinking this one may be lesser scented than others. It's the only one I have used out of the 5 I bought so far, and I already used it all up in 3 baths, which was kinda disappointing. I take a bath almost *every* night so I go through a lot of bath products. I would have hoped this would have lasted a bit longer, but I like a strong scented bath when using bath products. This one smelled great but even with the amount I used, didn't have a ton of throw or linger a lot on the skin - scent was gone in the morning.

Virginia is a pretty scent, but I could not really detect the notes at all, just a sweet, light earthy smell mostly sandalwood as the poster above me said. I did feel nice and moisturized after the bath and not greasy at all. :) (And tub wasn't greasy after like with the bath oils, so that was great!)

  4. I have no idea what the heck is in my bottle but it smells chemically and strange as soon as it dries, almost like how new tires smell, with this hint of sweetness. I am going to have to try to test it again later because this is making no sense to me.

  5. Wet I am amping the gardenia and champaca. It's reminding me a bit of WILF with florals. I wish I could smell the patchouli more. I like this one, but not enough to get a bottle at this time I think, since I have so many WILFs already.

  6. This dried to a pretty strong floral perfume on me which was very different than when first applied. The only note I am able to detect is the sandalwood, it's blended very well - there's something sweet but a little sour, maybe the cranberry. Not my thing at all though, sadly. :(

  7. First applied this is warm but bright and I loved that I could easily smell the champaca and musk (not much leather though). Within just a few minutes of drydown, this turned into powdery sandalwood on me. Not horrible, but don't think I'll be getting a bottle. Was hoping it would stay similar to how it smelled in the vial and wet. :(

  8. I forgot I had this on my w/l and wondered why two lovelies recently frimped me with it. I bet reading reviews with Red Moon comparisons made me add it.

Well, sadly I get no Red Moon, just spicy STRONG florals, mainly rose and gardenia - and no vanilla. I don't get the orange either. Sad bc this has notes of win. Too heady for me, but thank you ladies for the frimps. :wub2:

  9. Lighter than what I was expecting. Really morphs a lot - beginning I amp the sweet linen, as it dries the patchouli and fruit peek out more. Throw seems very light, I smell almost nothing now so it's probably a blend you would need to slather. Pretty, but I don't see myself wearing it enough to warrant a bottle at this point because there are blends I just like better right now. I bet it will age well though.

ETA: Now that the bottle has settled some, it's very perfumey now. I am unable to separate the notes now either.

  10. Snake oil kicked up a notch with red musk! So lucky to get a sniffie from Spark, thank you so much! :wub2: Love it, hope it's up for a while, this is multiple bottles worthy. :thud:

Eta: I just ordered 3 bottles of this, most bottles ever ordered of one scent at 1 time in my 6 yrs of ordering BPAL. It's that good!!

  11. This is just a bit too strong for me - the ginger gives it a super kick which I like but it's just too sharp/sperfumey/men's cologney for what I was looking for, though the dry down is makes it prettier and more feminine and lets the tonka shine. Not horrible, but glad I didn't commit to a bottle...

  12. Apple with strong, dry champagne. "Better" champagnes (like Dom) are usually dry like this, but I am a cheap date and prefer my champagne on the sweet side. Super strong throw and as it dries it turns to boozy apple floral fabric softener on my skin. Like the above poster said, this is all Apple Jack and not apple cider, to my nose as well. I loved being able to get a chance to try this though.

  13. Hmm, not getting watermelon - more of a sweet floral-y vanilla. Very feminine and pretty. I can't pick out individual notes though but it's nice - though no wow factor like I had thought. Kinda reminds me of Rosy Maple for some reason...

  14. Mmmm, this reminds me of a citrusy soda pop. Fizzy, just like Leopard403 said. Dries down to a pretty sweet sugary light tangerine on me . My honey said it smells "kinda good." LOL. I like it!! It's a nice pick me up kind of scent!

And eta: Thanks goodness no mint to my nose!

  15. Just got this as a freebie imp from the lab. I had wanted a 5ml of this when it came out but couldn't bring myself to buy it unsniffed. This is yummy sweet patchouli, different from my other patchouli blends and I like it better than Urd and as much as Goblin I think. Very nice.

  16. SNOW WHITE
A chilly, bright perfume: flurries of virgin snow, crisp winter wind and the faintest breath of night-blooming flowers.

:thud: I wish I could afford bars and bars of this! Gorgeous gray blue bar, strongly scented like Snow White. Absolutely freaking amazing. I will have to save this for special occasions; so glad I got two bars! :joy:

  17. I love that this one lasts on my skin - 5 hours I still smell it! It reminds me of expensive creamy rose soap lingering on the skin with an Indian vibe to it. I think it's really pretty and seems a bit old fashioned if that makes sense. I don't get a lot of resins, just a gorgeous rose probably due to the excellent combination/blending of the notes.

  18. I waffled so hard on this one, had two lovely forumites offer to CP for me, and even a bottle offer after canceling a CC Now order I had made, which after reading reviews, I ended up declining the kind offers. But then I saw one for sale on the forum and decided to get it! Really glad I did. I am amping the strawberry (peach is in the background but hiding out eta until about 20 mins in, and then it sweetens up and comes out super naturally and yummy) and cream, it's really sweet and yummy and not plasticy as it dries down. Love it and glad I finally got it!
