  1. It`s violets sweetened by tuberose, the staying power is unbelievable on me, 10 hours until I took a bath, and yes, it reminds me of bathos. I loved Nocturne from the start to the end, it`s a calm and sweet floral that doesn`t become my grandma perfume as I feared. Elegant and dark as a magical night.

  2. In the imp it`s all carrot and molasses.

Wet the carrot and oat(meal) go out creating a unique fragrance, a breakfast hot oatmeal with carrots sticks for a chilly autumn morning.

No apple for me. The throw is minimal, I slathered a lot and it didn`t become stronger. I can see a horse licking this bottle!!

  3. In the vial it`s dark and deep mango, wet the patchouli comes out, hello patchouli, to burn off quicky and disappear leaving the mango and the fig deliciously free. The green tea is in the background and I kept on smiling and sniffing my arm in the train, without shame.

I love mango and figs and can`t be objective about Tweedledum, a fruity morning slatherer.

  4. In the imp it`s herbal and it doesn`t seem right for me cause I have a strong rejection for any floral..I put it on my left knee ready to wash it in case of rosey appearance ( :P ) Instead to my delight I discover a perfectly blended bouquet of soft cinnamon, frankincense and musk that catch perfectly the concept of the longing for a beloved far away. I sniff my knee :D and feel nostalgic and mellowed out as never. Throw is average and it didn`t last long, but it was a wonderful afternoon experience of late summer. it`s highly suggested for floral haters that want some escape from the usual notes, and for romantic pals too!

A light and sweet floral blend that tend to give a pink image. Quiet and calm like a spring breeze in the afternoon

Candy, yes, fruity candy, funny and sweet

    DCCCLXXIII

Pink grapefruit meets a hint of juniper-verbena that fades quickly and live happily ever after as a fruity blend, a tad tart but delicious after all

  6. In the vial it smells so much of honey that i thought immediately to a cousin of Mead Moon. Fresh on the skin it`s mainly herbal honey for a while, I don`t detect any tobacco and if I really concentrate I can feel a very faint juniper. After 20 minutes the delicious melon note goes out and stay with the honey. It`s a total ace for me but maybe it could be too cloying for honey haters. for the fans of mead Moon I see a perfect substitute in the years to come. Lovely :P

  7. 2008 version

The rich coconutty caramel is sweet and strong on the wet phase, and on the drydown appear and disappear pulsating with the opium smoke and the tobacco. it`s bitter and sweet from time to time, that contributes without doubt to make it my fav blend and a extremely complex one. The throw and stay are very long, so I don`t have to slather a lot. I keep Red Lantern only for special occasions to keep its magic spell on me.

The only problem is that all the other caramel blends look so poor to me!

  8. Wet on the skin, for some seconds the dreaded cologne vibe appears, to go away soon and leave space to sweet berries and sharp carnations, slightely tinted by the musk. It`s delicious, dark and deep at the start and deep sweet in the drydown, it lives its name completely. :P

  9. Living in Japan and loving all the flowers in the notes of tanuki I was eager to try this blend in spite of the fact i don`t get well with florals. The osmanthus note is real, believe me, I pass every october sniffing all the trees here and I catched it immediately inside this little one! The mandarin note adds freshness to the blend, and the bamboo note is more prominet in the imp than in my skin. Oh my, I feel all the seasons united together, I`m sure any Japanese girl would love this. For me it`s the essence of the 4 seasons concentrated, almost a miracle. Hello nice florals.

  10. I knew I `d love this one and I do! It`s literally fresh and a bit sweet cucumber just cut and ready to be eaten on a sunday afternoon after swimming on the beach. it reminds me so strongly on my summer memories I can`t help slathering and feel refreshed and lighthearted. It`s slighly spicy too, like a touch of black pepper to your salad, delicious!

  11. I never enjoy florals notes in the blends, but the lavender one is a rare exception, and what a lovely exception it is! Wulric is the CD I slather more often, before sleeping, before cleaning the house, before taking decisions, before any excuse! The herbal wet stage is stingy but truly enjoyable, and the cocoa-vanilla drydown that follow a true heaven :P Wulric unites like a miracle

the green blends with the foody ones, standing as unique of this genre. Relaxing entertainment I would say!!

    2 back up bottles please

  12. I have to beat myself not to slather me all over with El Dia every single day. It`s heaven in a bottle made of dark cocoa, deepened with delicious coffee and cinnamon. The best part is when the brown sugar amps in the drydown and it becomes the darker (thinking of cocoa color, lol) brother of Sugar Skull :P Wearlenght is unbelievebly long and throw is quite good too: I work with a glowing smile all day!

    Conforting foody choco espresso love.

  13. I love all the notes here so it`s no surprise I `m deeply enjoying this crisp, sour blend, perfect for summer. The lemongrass is amped like crazy and it`s refreshing like a popsicle smashed in your face at 12 in the afternoon on the beach! If you love You`ve been mangoed bath melt this is for you.
