Drydown: Oh baby; the warm resins in the snake oil and the sweet cream of Dorian is lingering behind the smashed cupcake; it's divine!

If you love super cakey sweet scents like Beaver Moon, Beaver'versary, etc., this scent is for you!

I thought I smelled like delish raspberry cocktails...The Boy said "what's that smell!? It is Glade or red koolaid?"

This reminds me of Snake Oil; its dark and rich and sweet; the spices are not in your face...sexy and exotic. I feel like a Moroccan dancer

I say TKO; its 25 dollars but its HIGHLY recommended and its the PERFECT lavendar vanilla blend!

This is all snake oil and leather on me, which isn't a bad thing it starts out sweet with the snake oil but dries down with a more subtle and subdued leather touch.

Very manly. Kind of soapy. A bit reminiscent of a leather cowboy attire store.

On me this is straight tea leaf, acai berry, and white musk. Its absolutely gorgeous for a light floral type!

A bit dark and smokey...maybe that's the kush and orris. Nice. Well blended.

Pine, clove, cinnamon, vanilla...yup. Its christmas potpourri.

I generally enjoy ozone, and this is no exception. I would like more plum...

The absinthe is present, but in the background. A softly bright green scent.

Dark, warn. Mainly frankinsence and hibiscus, but I think I can detect the river reed...

This is the first rose scent I've tried that doesn't make me gag...the sugar really helps!

I think it should have been called "cabbage patch head" bc that's exactly what it smells like!

This is one of the most apt descriptions the lab could pen. Its straight up sugar and violets...and you know what?

I like it

Bourbon, rum, and/or sleazy cologne is dominant; this is a sour scent on me.

This is one of those scents that doesn't have specific notes listed but instead evocative imagery, so I really didn't know what to expect...

Wow. This is Davidoff Cool Waters! No joke! Fantastic man scent; I so wish The Boy would bathe in this...

Dust and incense prominent; reminds me of All Souls without the cake element...meh, asi asi.

The tonka, sage, coconut, and skin musk drew me in; unfortunately, I'm amping only the floral notes, and especially the rose otto, which makes me sad.

And, an extra note: all of the Grindhouse Ladies so far (except Agrat, which I love ) fade to nothingness within the hour on me...frustrating!

I bought this knowing nothing of the notes...I simply wanted it for my Shakespeare collection when I opened I took a sniff from the decant and kind of wrinkled my nose.

Then I looked up the notes and sighed to myself...except for nutmeg and smoke, nothing in it appealed to me.

I swabbed it on my wrist...alas, quite blah. Masculine.

But then, twenty minutes later, I can't help but notice that one of my all time fave smells is emanating from my wrist...could it be...Hand of Glory?!

Yes, yes, it is! What a lovely suprise; I don't know how or why, but this surprising morph is delightful! Yay!

At first sniff this is not something I like, but yet a week later I keep dabbling in it...there's something bitter spicy and dark lurking...odd scent...

No nuances here...this smells like rotten banana and damp dirt...I wouldn't wear it, but it definitely lives up to the description from the lab!

The plum, fig, and black coconut are predominant, which is good bc I don't love lavendar or vetiver...

I don't know if its my olfactory senses or my skin chemistry, but I have yet to find an aquatic that works on me.

I truly wanted this to be the anomaly; I wanted to experience the mermaid euphoria...

Alas, all I got was soapy man cologne.
