  1. This scent reminded me a bit of Lear, and I'm convinced I smell bay leaf in it! Overall, this is a very clean, astringint scent-- I found it too juniper-y to wear, but I *adore* it as a room scent. The rose/chamomile is almost nonexistant on me, but it softens the overall smell as it dries, and I suspect this would be an awesome fragrance on a guy.

  2. I received this imp in a swap and I'm so glad--my girlfriend was dying to try it, as she loves loves loves mint. Strangely, we don't smell any mint! However, the scent is wonderful--a soft, powdery floral scent that has a very 'clean linen' feel to it. On occassion we get flashes of a sharper scent, and I think the reviewer who compared it to Bath & Body Works' Spearmint/Eucalyptus was right on mark. We dont get a strong mint scent, but brief flashes between the waves of soft clean smell. Overall, totally fun. Definitely worth a bigger bottle!

  3. I wanted this imp because I *love* love *love* lavender. Sadly (and yet, happily) I couldn't smell any lavender. What I do get, however, is a deep, warm musk with a hint of spicy floral. It is wonderful--I feel so sexy wearing it.

An unexpected surprise--I definitely want a 5 mL of this!

  4. Vanity in extremis. The scent of rabid hauteur: Moroccan rose and narcissus.

Bottle: Rose. Big time rose. It reminded me of being in the foyer of a theater during intermission or at the symphony, surrounded by older women with money.

Wet: Still big time rose. I love rose, so this made me happy, but my girlfriend said it was very 'grandma'.

Dry: Mellows out when dry, and the girlfriend enjoys it from a distance.

Later in the morning: Finally, the narcissus comes out! Rose lingers, but now you can smell a more rounded floral scent.

Overall: A very moneyed scent to me, sophisticated. I like a lot although I think its defintely an evening scent--I felt very overdressed with this scent on and wearing my business casual at work!

  5. Like some, I did not get any tea or musk from this scent, unfortunately. In fact, in the bottle and on my skin I reeked of cherries, rather than berries. After an hour or so on, the scent mellowed out to a soft, fruity sage, which was pleasant, but it was a very muted scent, unfortunately--I would have slathered on more, but didn't want to go through the cherry phase again.

I am going to use this oil for body lotion, though: its got the kind of fragrance that would layer well, I think, under another, deeper oil.

  6. In the bottle: an almost floral tone, but muted, and clean. Probably the cedar.

Wet: Still floral--I think it is the cedar and sage and my chemistry. A friend said it smelled very gender-neutral, woodsy, but told me I wasn't sporty enough to wear it! My girlfriend, however, though it was too masculine.

Dry down: Mellowed out to a soft sage-y scent that was warm without being overpowering.

As my friends seemed to think it was a wrong scent for me, I probably won't wear it as a fragrance, but I liked it so much I'll use it for a room fragrance.

  7. My gfriend is wild about mint scents and wants a minty BPAL but I'm having a hard time finding any. So far, I've only noticed Spooky and Envy as mint-y scents. Are there any others (hopefully no discontinued scents)? Thanks for any help,
